I'm facing a something new in my LOW fed and wanted get everyone's opinon. William Muldoon is my number one contender and will be facing Mil Mascaras for the title. I currently use the champions advantage option and give title holders two rolls instead of just one on pin attempts. Muldoon has a game mechanic that says not to adjust the pin rating after the first pin attempt so this means if he wins he'll have a greater advantage than anyone else in title matches. If he wins do I ignore the champions advantage that I've been using all along, ignore the game mechanic that I've also been using all along or just go with it ?

Personally, I'd go with both.

Use the card rule and the champions advantage. Muldoon is a solid man, after all.

Both, the Champions advantage should be in addition to any rules he already has. Buffs always stack.

I'd use both to start... if it becomes too ridiculous, you can always have some in story reason (minor injury, say) to negate one.
That's a pretty steep Champion's advantage, BTW. I just lower pin by 1.

I don't think I've ever remembered that mechanic in the handbook for Muldoon and used it.

I don't think I've ever remembered that mechanic in the handbook for Muldoon and used it. I think it's actually on the bottom of his card. I don't have it near me right now to check for sure, though.

I would use both. If this makes Muldoon your long standing champion then all the more legitimate it makes your title AND the guy who finally beats him.
