Seemed like a fun show last night. I'll probably be ordering it when the DVD is available later this week.
I don't know what I think about another mega heel stable in Chikara though.

It makes sense for them to have a constant heel stable as a major threat, though. I read the results on PWPonderings but nothing jumped out as the formation of a new heel stable. Who's in it?

Delirious, Soldier Ant and giant masked guy. And I'm guessing Jimmy Jacobs is going to be in there if he's hanging around for any length of time.

That's...an interesting group of guys. Tursas and the BDK are back as well, unless that was just a one-time thing.

They came out at the end and started attacking people. Big guy choke slammed Kobald onto his knee and Kobald did a stretcher job.
Jacobs was connected to this group at some point from what I read but you know Chikara, they have bits of storyline everywhere so it's hard to have a grasp on everything. I'm guessing some of this stuff was laid out in the movie they released earlier this month.

Did it surface anywhere outside of just the premiere they did?

I'm thinking Ares and Tursas are back because they have new money. They also won which says storyline to me but Delirious also went after Ultramantis Black at the end. So who knows.

Honestly at this point, I think I would rather have Drew Gulak than Soldier Ant in Chikara. Soldier Ant really doesn't serve a purpose at this point IMO.

Word is they got 1500 buys for this. I think outside of early RoH outings this is probably the best number an indy has done through iPPV.

So random question, at 3000 eyeballs does that make this the most watched Chikara event of all time?

I think outside of early RoH outings this is probably the best number an indy has done through iPPV. The two ROH/NJPW shows did over 1,500 from what I've heard. It's a good time to be an indie on iPPV.
