Was the forklift spot worse than the one in Rock vs. Mankind?

Was the forklift spot worse than the one in Rock vs. Mankind? Don't remember that one. This one was just so slow. Soooo slow. The driver (no spoilers) was just too careful as he drove it. It was almost funny.

Lucky, I wish I could forget that forklift spot. How was the flaming table spot? I saw some stuff on Facebook saying it was really poorly done.

Lucky, I wish I could forget that forklift spot. How was the flaming table spot? I saw some stuff on Facebook saying it was really poorly done. In my, uneducated, opinion it just seemed like a sloppy match all around. I think that's an inherent danger with extreme or hardcore matches, things can get sloppy. The thing that annoyed me most about the table spot was how they kept selling it as gasoline that Kane used on the table when it was obviously not gasoline. He, either on purpose or accident, put the 'gasoline' on either end of the table and when it was lot just the ends burned. When he went through, he went through right I the middle where there were hardly any flames. Maybe a safety thing. It just seemed that you really had to suspend disbelief for this one. Even more than a child beating John Cena.

Oh wait...he pinned him with the forklift. I remember now. Yeah, to me, this was worse. It was just sooooo slow.

Obviously Toasterboy has never operated a forklift! Bryan operated it exactly as one is supposed to in close quarters. OSHA was probably watching, besides. The main event was fine. Nothing special, but not horrible by any means. They did everything right as far as the story they needed to tell with these guys to make it seem like Kane was a threat. It is a testament to the skill of the man behind the mask that they can do so many horrible things to neuter the character and he can practically flip a switch and be the believable monster again so quickly. I likened this show to a real good episode of RAW without the promos or crappy backstage skits. Well worth the---oh about thirty two cents, if you break the Network subscription down by day, that I paid to see it.

I thought the Rock/Mankind one was worse. They could have actually sped the forklift spot up quite a bit if they had DB back it through the building and down to the ring.

Just saw Shield vs. Evolution in full. Legit match of the year candidate. By far the best thing from that show.

I thought the Rock/Mankind one was worse. They could have actually sped the forklift spot up quite a bit if they had DB back it through the building and down to the ring. Again, do you want a guy who does not drive for a living driving a forklift BACKWARDS through a tight space full of people with A HUMAN BEING on a pallet? Also, at a higher rate of speed it's very likely to tip with such an unevenly distributed and unsecured load as A HUMAN BEING on the forks. I was thinking I'd have tilted the forks back just slightly to keep him from rolling off too, but that's just me (a guy who has tipped an uneven load or two at previous jobs). Also, he'd have had to turn it around in the aisle to dump Kane over the top rope if he'd backed it down. That's just not happening. Back when I was old and cynical maybe I'd have had more to complain about, but for some reason it just didn't bother me at all. The most bothersome thing on the show was super Cena nearly beating all three of the Wyatt family by himself again, only to get stopped in his tracks by a kid. THEN they wouldn't even let Bray score the pin; they had him leave through the door. THAT was my main source of annoyance on the show.

My issue with the forklift is that I assume they must have run through it earlier. They should have seen that the pacing was awful and scrapped it. I understand why he had to drive slow it just made the whole thing laughable. And Kane having to climb on and hop off the palette didn't help things either. Fine concept. They executed it as best (and safely) as they could but they should have seen during a run through how awful it looked it should have been scrapped.
Again, all my opinion. If folks enjoyed it that's great. They aren't wrong.

I didn't say I enjoyed it, I could have taken or left it, but I didn't find it too distracting. If they saddle Bryan with a second PPV/"big show" main event with Kane and don't build someone else up as a contender or threat, then they're staring trouble in the face.
