I am still holding out for a Matt Hardy card. Hopefully Matt decides to join up with Filsinger and we can get a ROH and Legends card for him.

If Hardy isn't announced, I'll ask him at the Red Carpet Rumble on the 15th. Though, I'm sure he's already been asked.

I talked to Matt Hardy last year in Altoona at the show Flair and Funk were at. I just quick gave him a rundown and he said send him a message at his website, so that's what I told Tom. My guess is if he's signed with ROH than we'll probably get a card but who knows about a Legends version.

I haven't asked about Matt Hardy in awhile. I was told awhile ago that he, Cliff Compton and someone else (I forget who) were special deal with ROH and thus, could not be carded. But anything is possible with time. Can't hurt to keep asking.
Punk, Joe, one day....Working on it.

Well, I'm not technically supposed to ask anyone anymore so I probably should just not, but if opportunity arises I don't see what hurt there is in asking. Especially if they say yes.

Briscoe's looking really good there. Should cause some noise in ROH feds everywhere.

I know it's become cliche to say this by now, but this art is now in my top 5 favorite Werner's ever. It's can be difficult to capture intensity in a drawing, but not for Werner. It helps that Jay Briscoe is one of my favorite wrestlers.
Here is a main event singles card for an ROH legend who became World Champion, and main evented ROH for the better part of last year. Obviously a push like that is going to put a guy like him in the position for an upgrade. He's got a main event tag card that stays in play for tag matches, and now a main event singles card to go with it.
I pushed his tag card hard in singles, and he did pretty good, winning my Rumble and headlining vs. Steen for the ROH title for a few shows, but he lost the feud. This new card will be able to hang with the Steen's, Styles, Black's Aries' and other top cards in the game.
As good as the names announced for this set have been so far, imo Briscoe and one other still unannounced card are the headliners. Then there is the Bryan Danielson card too...really stacked set if you love main event, World Champion caliber level cards, both for singles and tag. Strong. Thanks to everyone who helps get these sets and dream rosters together behind the scenes.

I love this! Nice to see some new ROH legend cards to pose as threats to Steen once his feud with Jerry Lynn comes to a close. Jay Briscoe might be getting his call up to bat and see if he can stop Steen once and for all. Lynn is doing well but when it comes to the belt actually on the line he chokes. The dice love Steen when the heat is on him. I am waiting for the doubles to hit and another injured wrestler added to Steens list of fatalities.

I agree on the art. Werner has upped his game and set a new standard for Filsinger sets.

btw I read where Matt Hardy is going back to TNA. I'd assume that puts the breaks on any potential ROH card in the future but I really don't know his contract situation there. Is this a special thing or is he back full-time? Maybe there is still some hope for a Matt Hardy CWFH card idk.

Didn't even bring legends forms with me because I've been told I can no longer do that kind of work for FG, so unfortunately, no.

Look at the bright side: now you can just relax and enjoy the job without having to serve too many masters. Filsinger Games won't be ruined without a Matt Hardy card. The Hardys will always be a tag team act to me, so Matt without Jeff would be a card I probably wouldn't use much anyway. On topic, that's mean looking Danielson art. He and Steen can battle for "most ruthless looking extreme closeup". I'd have personally preferred something more dynamic, but it's a great looking piece of art.
