Dutch is an interesting addition to the LOW lineup. He's kinda in the same spot as Bobby Shane, in that he's a star from the pre-national expansion territory days that a lot of people might not be familiar with.

It's pre-order week so I expect we'll see a more headline type of name hit tonight.

. No one has really jumped out at me so far this set... This isn't directed at you, because I hear it all the time, but I wish I never heard this again when it comes to legends announcements. I mean, you can only release who is willing to be signed and we've gotten Race, Bock, LOD, Andre, Savage, Rogers, Piper...everything else should be filler.

I always find reasons to be excited about anyone that gets a card. I didn't know Dutch Savage last week but I'm having fun making plans for him now that I've seen some promos and read about him.

Not a headliner, but we will finally get an official card for one James Juliuscaesar Dillon.
Dillon must have easily been signed ten years ago. I know we've been waiting for a Horseman to be released with him, but the guy's been everywhere and managed a ton of different people. People should have little trouble fitting him into their fed.
I just hope he has all of the Horsemen finishers on his card, a la his legendary WTBS studio squash before the first WarGames.

Definitely one of those "what took you so long" deals here. Interesting choice with the art (which looks really great) representing him in his prime as a wrestler, a time probably no one playing the game knows much of anything about. Of course his card will fit that bill and have wrestling stats to fit with his active career instead of being one of those wrestler/manager cards with the bad stats.

My count is 8 or 9 years for how long we've known about him being signed. I think we knew pre-Vintage that he had been signed.
I did a mental list of guys that I think JJ would be a perfect fit for manager wise:
Buddy Rogers Dutch Savage Giant Bernard Warlord Dan Severn Nick Bockwinkel and Ray Stevens - triple blonde threat there! Adrian Street - absolutely his kind of wrestler. Hamilton Wrecking Crew The Grappler Bobby Shane Steve Corino Texas Hangmen Jonnie Stewart Matt Striker the Vachons Larry Zbyszko
And I'm just basing those on the types of guys he managed in the Crockett days. There are endless possibilities for him as a manager.

Just had a thought of a feud between Dillon's stable and Heenan's stable. From your list maybe JJ takes Bock & Stevens from the Brain.

The Hangmen would be a great enforcer team to have in his stable for that angle too. Sign Bockwinkel and Stevens as your title team and get the Hangmen to rough up the competition.

Some really good ideas out there. Not sure about Dillon managing for me yet, but it will come. I have a feeling I'll put a bit of a Florida feud between him and Humperdink at some point.

Wasn't bashing the set or who's been released so far. I buy every edition of LOW, regardless of who's in it. Was just saying that no one in this set has jumped out at me yet, but I'm hoping for someone that will. Every card released is a bonus for someone.

so an extra ROH teaser Friday but nothing for LOW. No major names and 5 still to go with only 3 weeks left.....weird strategy.

You usually get a name or two with the pre-order.

Who knows what other projects these artists are working on. Stanley still has a few weeks before printing deadlines.
