I'm also in the camp of being excited for every card released, regardless of who it is. I think it's natural to get more excited about certain cards than others but as lowtrav said, everything is like a bonus at this point. We've really gotten a TON of the all time greats in our game.
One thing I hope people keep in mind is that a wrestler that means nothing to you, could easily be someone else's favorite of all time. I'm 31 years old. He retired from wrestling before I was even born. But if someone grew up watching Portland wrestling would probably LOVE getting his card.
I also know that personally I have NEVER once been disappointed by a set. The sets as a whole always end up being awesome. There isn't a single set that hasn't turned out to be a fantastic collection of wrestling legends.
And just so I'm clear, this isn't directed at anyone in particular. I just hope people are able to keep these things in their heads as legends get announced.
I've also been a big proponent of LOW staying B&W but I have warmed to the idea of things going color. I don't like the idea of the price increase, though, and don't know what could be done about the huge back-catalog of B&W cards. Swarm's idea could be a possibility and an occasional colorized version of a card in Promoter Prime wouldn't hurt either. Who knows though...
Love this game and I'm looking forward to seeing all the rest of the announcements to come.

This isn't directed at anyone here...
I never understand those people that are disappointed when it's not a main event talent every time. I don't know about you but I can only use so many main eventers at any given time and I honestly have more than enough guys. Now the mid-card is where I always need bodies. I always need tag teams, I always need some new faces to fill out my shows with. Someone like Dutch Savage is going to get more use in the next year than Frank Gotch might depending on how the main events pan out. I already have plans for Dutch Savage and JJ in a mid-card feud. Likewise Stevie Richards and the Patriot will instantly be in the mix of things and getting matches for me.

I definitely would not want everyone to be a main event talent, you need a mix of wrestlers to truly make a fed. On the other hand, I can see some disappointment here as A: we already knew about three of these guys, B: not one of them is going to be more than a mid-carder most likely. and C: no real tag teams unless you're going to pair Richards with Meanie (forcing Richards to carry the team as Meanie is very much a jobber) or pairing Tommie with Eddie or Doug. (yes Savage had some tag teams, but his best partners other than Snuka are not coming, and do you want to use Snuka in that way?)

Tommy Gilbert can actually team with Eddie Gilbert or Tommy Rich. You're also forgetting the Patriot and Buff Bagwell as a tag team.

I am not forgetting Patriot and Bagwell......just can't picture Buff as a face...if it was Marcus Alexander Bagwell (a guy I'd like for Promoter Prime sometime)

That's still a fairly big tag team that you can now form.

Granted, I would like to see a tag team get introduced in this set.

Granted, I would like to see a tag team get introduced in this set. Off the top of my head, I can think of at least four teams that can be formed coming out of this set.

This might finally force me to reform the Eaton and Lane version of the Midnights.

This is actually one of my top ten signings as I've always been a MX mark and always wanted to see how the MX v MX feud would end.
I let Randy know about the game a while back and happy he's finally official.

Real strange mix of wrestlers this year. Not bad, just seems like an oddball group. It will be interesting to see how this one rounds out.
