They had to have Ambrose lose because it's the WWE formula for the last 12 years: make everyone else look weak and ineffectual so the guy THEY want to push looks stronger by comparison. The moment they set eyes on Reigns they knew who the next guy was gonna be. He's got everything the WWE wants in a superstar. I don't hate the guy, but they clearly have a plan and will follow it come hell or high water. I kind of feel like they owe me at least five of my 9.99 back this month for having watched that show. If it weren't for the episodes of Prime TIme and TNT they added this month I'd be asking for 8.99 back. I think Reigns needed another year. It was pretty clear in the summer that he wasn't ready for the push they want to give him. I think they have to tread carefully because the fanbase might rebel if they push him too hard.

Kind of like how they did with Cena, though in fairness to that situation they DID hold Cena off for a year.

I hope they add more soon because I could watch them all day. It really is great. Early episodes of TNT were especially good TV for what they were trying to accomplish. I also hope it's not like some of the other shows where they add a handful and then drop it (WCCW in particular). On TLC topic, I keep reading online where people are trashing the "stairs match" between ROwan and Show as being awful and the low light of the show. To me it was heads and shoulders above that abomination they called a chairs match between Ryback and comfortable slacks Kane. Neither of those was as bad as Ambrose puttin

Yeah, I was about 2/3 through those WCCW shows when I stopped.. it's clear they're not adding more anytime soon... kinda makes me hesitant to start watching some of the other stuff, to be honest.

I'm still bummed out they didn't put more WCCW on. If they got deep enough into 1984 it would be the first chance a lot of us would have to see that Flair/Kerry title change from Texas Stadium with better-than-shit video quality.

Yeah. I was really hoping they would give us more WCCW or do more old tv in general.

I'd re-sub if they threw up all (or more realistically, a couple of months) of the Watts TV.

I'm thinking that will never happen.

It's a shame because they could make real good use of that library if they set every weekday up with a theme instead of looping the same shit four times a day. You could do it like this:
Monday - RAW and Nitro Tuesday - WCCW Wednesday - ECW (come to think of it, NXT as a lead in for ECW or vice-versa would be a pretty good idea) Thursday - classic SmackDown Friday - UWF

That'd be great. As it is, I think NXT is worth the $9.99, but just barely... I don't usually like to pay for my wrestling .

I mean they've had the SMW library for like a decade now and have maybe used 1 or 2 matches.

They did a few SMW specials on 24/7, one of which had Unibom vs. Undertaker which was great because my mom walked by and asked why Undertaker and Sid had a match in OVW.
