Not gonna do the whole "tournaments to crown champions" thing, just gonna jump in with predetermined champions and pick it up on the first loop of spot shows and the first TV of the new year which will be Power Hour, Week 1 January. Gonna be doing a territory styled fed, spot shows for most of the week, a main TV show and a syndicated TV show with occasional touring champions coming in to face the top guys in the territory.

UWF Power Hour, Sunday Week 1 January Report:DJ Hyde opened this episode of UWF Power Hour with a match up against Jigsaw. This match would not last long at all as Matt Tremont rushed the ring to attack Hyde, leading to a brawl around ringside. It's clear that the animosity between these two is reaching a boiling point, with constant interference in each other's matches as well as no clear winner being determined in their matches against one another. UWF Matchmaker Jim Cornette made his way to ringside attempting to put an end to the chaos and wound up being knocked over by the brawling Hyde and Tremont, which lead to him being stretchered out. Folks in Baton Rouge, this Saturday night the UWF will roll through town with a huge card headlined by the UWF Heavyweight Champion Austin Aries taking on top contender Chris Hero. Also scheduled for the show are The American Wolves, Bryan Danielson, Rich Swann, Adam Cole, Cedric Alexander and more! Adam Cole cut a promo for the show to hype his match with Cedric Alexander, saying that Cedric is one of the top prospects in professional wrestling but his bright future meets a bleak end come Saturday night in Baton Rouge. The American Wolves were on next with an impressive win over the Heartbreak Express when Richards pinned Sean Davis with a DR Driver. During the match, reDRagon joined us via satellite to talk about their long running feud with Richards and Edwards. Kyle O'Reilly said that they've stepped out of the shadow of the American Wolves and are constantly proving all over the UWF circuit that they're the best tag team in wrestling today. Bobby Fish says that the two man smash machine is headed to New Orleans this Sunday afternoon to take on The American Wolves and they'll showcase once again who the superior tag team is. Fans, this Sunday afternoon the UWF heads to New Orleans with a UWF Tag Team Championship match in the main event as reDRagon take on the American Wolves in a special return bout from last Friday in Oklahoma City. Also scheduled to appear are AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Kazarian, War Machine and the Outlaws! AJ Styles joins us to talk about his feud with Christopher Daniels. Styles says that this feud defines both men and their careers would likely be very different without each other. AJ tells the fans that Sunday in New Orleans will be an afternoon they won't forget. In a match between two of the top prospects in the UWF, Ray Rosas got disqualified when he hit Rich Swann with a chair. The match didn't go long but was bell to bell action until Rosas, unable to gain a significant advantage over Swann, used a chair to get disqualified. Rosas attempted to continue the malicious attack on Swann until Trent Barretta made the save. We're taken to a sitdown interview with Jim Ross and Bryan Danielson. Ross asks Danielson about Austin Aries and Danielson's pursuit of the Mid South Championship. Danielson says that the title was taken from him when Aries cheated to beat him and ever since he's chased Aries all over the UWF circuit. Bryan says that he has no reason to be in the UWF if he can't win the big one and says that the next time he challenges for the championship on television, he will either win the title or he'll leave the UWF because he doesn't deserve to be here if he can't prove himself against the best. Eddie Kingston put Archibald Peck away in lighting quick fashion, laying peck out with a Backfist to the Future for the pin. Kingston taunted Tim Donst during the match, yelling "is that all you got Donst?" every time Peck would attempt to mount offense. Kingston looked into the camera after the match and said that if Tim Donst didn't show himself, Kingston would hit Peck with another Backfist. Donst rushed the ring and began brawling with Kingston until the two had to be separated. Jim Ross notified fans that tomorrow night on UWF Wrestling, Jim Cornette would make a ruling on the Matt Tremont and DJ Hyde saga and would make major announcements about our return to Houston! The UWF Television Championship was on the line as Drew Gulak successfully defended his championship against Kazarian as the two went to a 15:00 time limit draw while Gulak's arch rival, Biff Busick joined the commentary team to provide insight on the match. Gulak's win was all but clean, as he threw Kazarian over the top rope behind the referee's back which resulted in Kazarian nearly being counted out. Kazarian refused to quit despite a brutal onslaught towards the end of the match. The bell ring and the fans screamed for five more minutes, but Gulak told the fans that they did not deserve to see five more minutes. Gulak attempted to leave but had words with Biff Busick which lead to security personnel having to separate the two as the show went off the air! Match: | Result:

Interesting set up, using current indies to run an 80s style territory fed... should be interesting (If the future careds are all squashes, anyway, stupid dice)

For the Wolves/Kingston matches, I added two do the opponent's pin ratings to help sway things a bit more in the direction I wanted them to go. I'm trying to keep it where the matches on TV are largely squashes and the arena matches are more competitive.

UWF Wrestling Monday Week 2 January Report: This week's edition of UWF Wrestling opened up with Jim Cornette, who acknowledged that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time during yesterday's presentation of Power Hour. A video clip shows Cornette being stretchered out after being mowed over by DJ Hyde and Matt Tremont. Cornette says that he was rushed the the hospital but suffered no injuries and he's been asked to make a ruling on this situation by UWF commissioner Adam Pearce. Cornette says that Hyde and Tremont have been tearing each other up all over the UWF circuit and haven't had a conclusive winner to any of their matches and that this needs to come to a head and he's got the place for it. Next weekend, the UWF returns to Houston for a major event and there will be a triple main event, the first of which will be a first in the history of the UWF as DJ Hyde and Matt Tremont will compete in a Dog Collar Match. There'll be nowhere to run, nowhere to hide and there will be a winner come hell or high water at the end of that match. The second main event for the show will be contested between The Briscoes and the Hangmen Three in a two on three handicap match. Cornette notes that he gave the Briscoes an option to pick a tag team partner but they decided that it was their fight and they would see it through on their own. The final main event, regardless of the outcome of the Aries-Hero UWF Championship match this weekend, will be Bryan Danielson vs. Austin Aries inside of a steel cage. Bryan has noted that he'll leave the UWF if he challenges for the title on television again and comes up short but he will get his chance to take on Aries with no excuses next week in Houston.
The first match this week saw Tim Donst gain a disqualification win over "All Ego" Ethan Page as Eddie Kingston ran in to attack Donst. Donst was well on his way to a victory before his longtime adversary attacked him and threw him to the floor. Kingston threw Donst into the ringpost, lascerating him before putting him out on the floor with a Backfist to the Future. Paramedics, referees and security made their way ringside to check on Donst's condition and to also make sure that Kingston got out of the area without causing further damage.
VTR: We're taken to a sitdown interview with Jim Ross and Bryan Danielson. [UWF Power Hour, 1/1]
Another new match announced for this show pits Hanson of War Machine against MASADA of the Outlaws with both Hanson's partner, Rowe and MASADA's partner, Brodie Lee, handcuffed to their respective corners! We're joined by reDRagon, who say that this weekend in New Orleans, they'll put away the American Wolves for good and prove that they are the present and the future of tag team wrestling.
As we return from commercial, Roderick Strong put away TD Thomas with a SICK KICK in a short bout. The commentators noted that there is long running bad blood between the Briscoe Brothers and the Hangmen Three which will come to a head next Saturday night in Houston. Strong scored an impressive win against a clearly overmatched Thomas. Strong got on the mic and said that come next Saturday in Houston, this same thing would happen to the Briscoes and when they were done with the chicken farmers from the middle of nowhere in Delaware, they're coming for the UWF World Tag Team Championship.
Jon Moxley joined forces with the War Machine to take on Homicide and the Outlaws in a wild brawl that got thrown out as all six men proceeded to brawl all over ringside and eventually out into the parking lot! The match got going before the opening bell as The Outlaws attacked War Machine during their entrance and Homicide lead a sneak attack on Moxley, coming in through the crowd to jump him from the back. Lots of great action in this match, including Hanson hitting the Spin Kick of Doom to MASADA after Rowe threw a chair to MASADA. The two teams brawled out of sight as referees and security chased them trying to break up the fight.
Bryan Danielson joins us at this time to talk about his match with Rich Swann. Danielson says that Swann is the most promising prospect the UWF has to offer and he'll get a chance to prove his potential against the best wrestler in the world this Saturday night in Baton Rouge.
Five nights ahead of his UWF World Championship clash with Austin Aries, Chris Hero took on Scorpio Sky in a short match that saw Hero put Sky down with his spinning yakuza kick known as the Cyclone Kill. Austin Aries made his way out to watch the match from ringside, scouting his opponent for this Saturday in Baton Rouge. After Hero won, Aries held up the UWF Championship and told Hero that he would never be good enough to hold this championship.
In studio, Jim Ross is joined by Cedric Alexander to talk about Alexander's ongoing battle with Adam Cole, who is in action next against Rich Swann. Alexander says that he and Cole kind of came on the scene at the same time but took different paths. Cole broke out on his own and is one of the top tier stars in the Mid South area while Alexander's had a slower rise to the top. Cedric says that Cole is a guy that he needs to beat if he wants to get to that next level and make an impression on the fans in this area. Drew Gulak interrupts the interview and says that Alexander is a loser and will never become a champion. Cedric challenges Gulak for the UWF Television Championship and Gulak says that Cedric needs to earn his shot. UWF Commissioner Adam Pearce intervenes and says that Alexander will have his chance to prove that he deserves the championship--when he faces Gulak this week on Power Hour!
As Cedric Alexander taunted the UWF Television Champion, his rival Adam Cole picked up an impressive win over Rich Swann in a short but competitive match. Cole was overwhelmed by Swann's offense early, including a big plancha followed by a CHICKEN FRIED DRIVER for a big two count. Cole would throw Swann into an exposed turnbuckle to turn things around in his favor and eventually put Swann down with the FLORIDA KEY, his cross armed German suplex hold.
A little over a week away from his big cage match with Austin Aries, Bryan Danielson focused on a match with Alex Koslov that ended in just over three minutes with Danielson's patented CATTLE MUTILATION hold. On commentary, Jim Ross noted that if Danielson can pick up wins both this weekend and next that he would be the next logical challenger for the UWF World Heavyweight Championship after Chris Hero this weekend in Baton Rouge. Danielson offered Koslov a handshake after the match but Koslov refused, leaving the ring to a chorus of boos from the audience.
This week's main event was an action packed highlight reel as Air Raid of ACH and Matt Sydal beat The Young Bucks in a great main event. The Bucks appeared to have Air Raid's number early, but ACH made a tag to Sydal which turned the tables in favor of Air Raid, who went on a massive offensive run and never seemed to lose momentum. The Bucks were able to land their MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK finisher, but Sydal broke up the pinfall attempt and sent Nick Jackson to the outside with a spinning wheel kick and followed up with a tope atomico. ACH hit a frog splash and tagged in Sydal who missed his SHOOTING SYDAL PRESS, momentarily giving the advantage to the Young Bucks who failed to capitalize on the change of momentum which lead to Sydal putting Matt away with the Here It Is Driver just shy of the fifteen minute mark. The two teams shook hands after the match and the show went off the air with Air Raid celebrating a huge victory on UWF television.
