Maybe they think they can get more female fans/sell more merch to females that way? I've (a bit) got my 10 year old into NXT (as much as I can with my wife protests, anyway), and she LOVES Charlotte. I could see her being over the moon seeing her beat up a male wrestler. OTOH, I agree with everything you guys say, and, in fact, the reason my wife refuses to even get wrestling a chance anymore is because she first watched in the attitude era, when Chyna was wrestling men the the Dudleyz were putting anything in a skirt through a table.
I HOPE wrestling fans with women issues isn't the reason.... that's just wrong.

I do too but it's been noted in the past that women's feds draw a lot of pervs to the show. It wouldn't surprise me if they're pulling in a certain crowd with these types of matches.

Not unless she gets it back and wins in fairly short order, no. Even then, that's too much really. (assuming it's as bad as it sounds).

She takes a springboard spike tombstone on the floor and stays dead for the rest of the match until she pins one of them after being busted open and double team superkicked earlier in the match. Again, not something a female fan's going to watch and think is awesome. They kill her like four times and she barely scrapes in for the finish. At some point, you have to account for realism and there's none to be found in this type of bullshit.

I've been watching AAA semi-regularly since they started doing that. Watched the Aerostar/Superfly mask match when it got put up.

Watched episode 2 tonight.
Chavo went heel to the surprise of no one and looks to have a feud brewing with Sexy Star. Yeah, who gives a fuck.
Vampiro is balls on commentary.
Holy shit, the backstage segments are fucking awesome. They did some creepy shit with Blue Demon and Mil Muertes manager and the stuff with Konnan and Prince Puma is just awesome. Konnan is doing some good stuff on the mic.
Opener with Mundo/Puma vs. Big Rik's minions was a good tag. Also thought the main event served it's purpose well. The mixed tag was whatever.
Overall another good effort. I'm really liking the production. It just feels fresh from the looks. I like the dingy building they use as well.

I also forgot how much Ricky Reyes and Low Ki look alike.

Episode 3 was really strong. Excellent backstage segments and the main event was pretty good. Chavo was on the screen a little too much but his heel turn is interesting so far.
