Nakamura should get something good out of ACH.

Looking at Night 1 and Night 2. Some good matches in the mix but neither card blows me away. Night 2 looked promising but the rest of the card was a letdown. Briscoe vs. Fish is an extreme disappointment with the talent coming in.

Card's shaping up fairly well so far. Not the best of the three nights but four very intriguing singles matches at least.

Full card in the main post. That's a card I'd pay money to see.

The IPPV has the best card they've posted so far.
That Briscoe/Fish match bugs me. It's going to be really good but they couldn't have thrown a New Japan talent in there? Briscoe vs. Nakamura, have the Kingdom fuck with them and do Briscoe/Nakamura vs. Kingdom on night 3 or 4?

Kingdom aren't feuding with Chaos so it wouldn't make much sense plus you don't want to do a screwball finish in a match like that. People hated that the KOW/MCMG match ended with a Briscoes run in because it killed an otherwise awesome match.

Also I like how, compared to last year, all of these seem like supercards/major events. They even ditched a lot of the safe match booking from last year so that we're getting the top ROH guys vs. the top New Japan guys. Outside of like Steen vs. Nakamura and Elgin in the three way dance with Okada and AJ, we really didn't have that last year.

Global Wars Night 2 is a TV taping with seven of the matches being announced today. So far...two very unimpressive matches.

Those shows are easily better. They really booked weak cards last year.

Agreed. At least they're fine with sacrificing some of their bigger names this year. The matches they booked last year were about as safe as you could be. It doesn't hurt someone like Elgin to lose to Tanahashi if the latter is presented properly.
Also, Corino needs to get in a traffic jam on the way to every show. I do not need to hear "TANAHASHI GOT STABBED BY HIS EX GIRLFRIEND~!!!" four hundred times per match.

It will probably be 600 times this year. Corino really annoys the hell out of me on commentary.

That Dalton Castle vs. Liger match is the most interesting thing anyone has done with Liger in a long time.
Elgin is going to have a long string of awful matches for this. Elgin vs. Gedo... No one wants to see that...

Elgin has three really good matches on paper prior to the Gedo match.
