Notes - Playboy Buddy Rose's winless record remains intact when S.D Jones takes him down for the count with a philly shuffle and K.O punch. Gorgeous George defeated Bob Armstrong (in his first solo appearence since splitting with his son Brad )with a spinning toe hold. Number one contender Nick Bockwinkel ( with manager Bobby Heenan) defeated fan favorite Killer Kowalski with a sleeper hold in 8:50. Frank Gotch forced The Destroyer to tap out to his painful toe hold finisher in 14:20. The Valiant brothers became the third tag team champions in the LWF's brief history by defeating the Sheik & Volkoff with a double clothesline

Notes Round 1. Gorgeous George pulled off an amazing upset over The Destroyer with figure four leglock in 7:03. Bobo Brazil dominated Frank Gotch for most of the match but wasn't able to get the 3 count until his 6th pin attempt following a coco butt. Bob Armstrong defeated Ted Dibiase with a vertical suplex in 8:34. Killer Kowalski forced Buddy Rose to tap out to his claw hold finisher in just 3:03. Rose drops to a 0-9 record in the LWF. Round 2 Gorgeous George and Bobo Brazil went toe to toe in a match that saw 12 pin attempts. This was the best performance by both men so far in the LWF. Killer Kowlaski got his second victory in under 4 minutes with his claw hold against Bob Armstrong in 3:41. Round 3. Killer Kowalski gave Gorgeous George a rough time and seemed headed for the win until George reached into his bag of dirty tricks and rolled Kolwalski in small package using the tights for the victory

Notes - S.D Jones got his second straight LWF victory by defeating the Sandman with a Philly KO shuffle and punch. In their LWF debuts the Killer Bee's and their opponents the Iron Shiek and Nickolai Volkoff were both disqualified when all four men entered the ring in a all out brawl following a Brunzell killer dropkick and pin attempt on Volkoff. Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase defeated Bobo Brazil with a sleeper hold but only after having him in the hold for 3 consecutive rounds. After the bell Virgil and Dibiase gave Brazil a humiliating beat down. Johnny Valentine defeated Jimmy Snuka with an atomic skullcrusher after Snuka missed a superfly leap for the second during the match. Harley Race defeated Giant Baba with a swinging neckbreaker in 12:51. Nick Bockwinkel ( with Bobby Heenan) forced Nature Boy Buddy Rogers to tap to his figure four leglock finisher in 16:12 becoming the new LWF champion. Heenan interfered early on in the match but Bockwinkel's finish was a clean one.

Notes - Mil Mascaras won his LWF debut easily over the now 0-10 Playboy Buddy Rose with a crossbody attack in 4:15. The Destroyer survived multiple running powerslams and crushing bearhugs to pull out a win over King Kong Bundy with a sleeper hold. S.D Jones continued his winning streak and remains undefeated by beating Ox Baker with Philly KO Shuffle and Punch. Frank Gotch handed former LWF Champion Buddy Rogers his second straight loss with a Gotch toe hold. In a special attraction tag team match The Steiner brothers got the best of the Road Warriors with a Rick Steiner Steiner Dog on Animal in 14:34. Jimmy Snuka put an end to Gorgeous George's short title reign with a Superfly Leap and became the United States Champion

They will face the Samoan Island Tribe in their debut match. The Russian Bear Ivan Koloff makes his LWF debut against the Sandman. Frank Gotch fresh from his biggest win so far in the LWF against Buddy Rogers takes on Johnny Valentine. Bobo Brazil has teamed up with Red Bastien to face the team of Ted Dibiase and Virgil. In a rare main event special attraction match Ox Baker does battle with The Eighth Wonder Of The World Andre The Giant

Notes The Sandman spoiled the debut of Ivan Koloff in his second big upset in The LWF. Both of The Sandman's victories have been against higher rated opponents the first being Nick Bockwinkel. Curt Henning & Buddy Rose (with Bobby Heenan) defeated the Samoan Island Tribe with a Hennig Plex on Samu in 9:21. Frank Gotch took a serious beating from Johnny Valentine for the majority of the match but managed to hang in unitil Valentine hit him with his fourth Atomic Skullcrusher in 12:40. Gorgeous George went blow for blow against Harley Race in a wild brawl that took place in and out of the ring. Race tapped out to George's spinning toe hold finisher after being raked in the face with the dreaded Georgie pins mulitple times. Red Bastien and Bobo Brazil lost via countout after Virgil threw Bastein out of the ring and Dibiase slammed him into a ringside table. The Eighth Wonder Of The World crushed Ox Baker with a Big Splash in just 4:59. Baker put a good effort at the beginning but was quickly over powered

I got this idea from Tim Dalton who used abridged results for a while on the old Filsinger board. I was only going to do this for a short time until I had some history built up but I'm thinking I might just stick with it.

In a special attraction match The Destroyer takes on Chief Jay Strongbow and in the main event Gorgeous George looks to regain his United States title from Jimmy Snuka

Notes - Mil Mascaras defeated Ox Baker in just 59 seconds with a cross body block attack setting a new LWF record. The Destroyer and Chief Jay Strongbow had it out in what could have been called the battle of the sleeper holds. The Destroyer came out on top in 11:14 with a sensational suplex. The Samoan Island stunned the crowd by defeating The LWF Tag Team Champion Valiant Brothers in a non title match. The Road Warriors destroyed the Killer Bees with a doomsday device in only 5:15. Jimmy Snuka managed to hold to his United States titles by defeating the former champion Gorgeous George with a flying headbutt.

Ronnie Garvin makes his LWF debut against the Sandman. Harley Race faces the red hot Destroyer. Bobby Heenan's team of Buddy Rose and Curt Hennig face Paul Ellering and The Legion Of Doom. In the final LWF appearence for both men Giant Baba and King Kong Bundy square off to in the Battle Of The Giants. Bobo Brazil and The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase will settle thier differences once and for all inside a steel cage. In the main event LWF Champion Nick Bockwinkel defends his title against former champion Buddy Rogers

Notes The Sandman managed two near falls before being disqualified for using his Singapore cane against LWF rookie Ronnie Garvin. The Destroyer continues to show that he's a worthy title contender this time by forcing Harley Race to tap to his figure four leglock. In a flawless performance The Road Warriors brutalized Bobby Heenan's team of Curt Hennig & Buddy Rose. Hawk ended the massacre with a running clothesline to Buddy Rose in 8:23. King Kong Bundy crushed Giant Baba with a avalanche in 10:02 and added insult to injury by demanding a five count. A bloody and bruised Ted Dibiase escaped through the cage door at the 17:15 mark following a powerslam on an exhausted Bobo Brazil. The Valiants retained their LWF titles with 2 consecutive Johnny Valiant spinning neckbreakers on The Iron Sheik. Nick Bockwinkel defeated the former LWF Champion Buddy Rogers with a piledriver on his eighth pin attempt. Rogers had seven pin attempts of his own during the match but just couldn't get the 3 count
