Oh no, not a Canadian! Please not Bret Hart! We will never hear the end of it from CPB. I agree I'd much rather see Iron Mike Sharpe if there has to be another canadian

Tom said that he might just put him in the game anyways and go from there. Not to be rude, but when did Tom say this? I'm just surprised that he would say this. Tom usually seems cautious about legal things when it comes to LOW. I didn't think he would put someone in, unless he had full right to do so. I seem to recall that Tom had contact with Bill Eadie (Masked Superstar) early on, and had gotten a verbal OK, but not a written one. He got the written permission later, which is why Superstar's card wasn't released until Legends Hardcore.

He was talking about it in casual converstaion. I don't know if he was serious (perhaps not) but it was interesting.

I have to admit, I would have loved to have been a little bug in the room when this conversation went on.
Lets hope Bret wouldn't get fired up like Animal did at toasterboy

Yeah, I wouldn't expect to see Bret in a Legends set until he has officially signed.

Lets hope Bret wouldn't get fired up like Animal did at toasterboy What was this about, Travis? I don't think I had heard about this. I'll tell the story if you put out some more LOW Bootlegs. kidding. No, I remember a story from Grant when he went to one of those fan fests back last year You got to meet Road Warrior Animal. Now I am jealous Yeah...about that.. I put the LOW card down in front of Animal and he looks at it and says, "What is this?" I said it's from LOW from Filsinger Games. He says, "Yeah, I threw this contract away! I never signed it!!" I said, "Well, I know nothing about that, I'm just a fan." and he said, "Yeah, I know, but you can't use a guy without giving him money! I own this name!" Then he looks around. "Is this Filsinger guy here?!" I said no. He signed it and took a photo and then I RAN LIKE HELL!!

Thanks for sharing that. That's something I'm always afraid of with getting LOW cards signed, is that the Legends themselves will have forgotten they signed up for it and freak out like that! When I got my Danny Hodge card signed, he at first said, "Where did you get this?" I was scared for my life! But then I told him what it was. I'm not sure he remembered signing for LOW or understand quite what the game was, but he laughed and said it must be some "Internet thing". I'll tell the story if you put out some more LOW Bootlegs. Agreed! I may go with the Memphis set after all. Stay tuned!

Well, Grant looks to be about as big as Animal's leg, so I don't blame him for running like hell!
I still remember getting my Bundy card signed (This was even before Legends) at a car show and he was legit pumped up, knew about the game, spoke highly of Tom, etc.
Snuka and Albano was also there, but obviously didn't have a card. Wish they did now.

It happened to me when I sent my card to Ivan Koloff. He signed it and wrote a nice letter back, but also asked where the card came from and said he never agreed to that. So I told Tom and he or Todd sent him the set with his card and I assume a copy of the contract. He was one that completely forgot anything about it.
