Results from Champions Road Supercard (Non Televised Event)
Bruiser Brody battered Savage T and got the win with the JUMPING KNEE DROP
(ICWA Tag Team Title Tournament Round One Match) The Heartbreak Express (w/ So Cal Val) beat Samoan Island Tribe via THE HEARTBREAKER NOTE: AWESOME MATCH!!! The Heartbreaks were a bloody mess but managed to stand toe to toe with the Samoans. The fans were definetly into the match and on the edge of their seats with each close fall.
6 Man Hardcore Battle Royal to Crown the ICWA Hardcore Champion Participants: Timber, Sabu, Arik Cannon, Necro Butcher, Sandman, & Drake Younger Order of Elimination: Drake Younger by Timber Necro Butcher by Sandman Arik Cannon by Sabu Timber by Sandman Sabu by Sandman after three consecutive SINGAPORE CANES Sandman wins the Hardcore Title NOTE: Good battle royal and quite fitting that two ECW icons battle it out in the end. It was quite a nasty fight between the two, Sabu powerbombed Sandman onto a ringside table but could not keep him down... Sabu also missed two TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULTS and Sandman capitalized with his SINGAPORE CANE leaving Sabu battered and bloodied
(ICWA Tag Team Title Tournament Round One Match) The Kings of Wrestling defeated The Naptown Dragons when Castagnoli pinned Lee after a scissors kick to the face
Championship Scramble for the Vacant TV Title "Playboy" Buddy Rose vs. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan vs. Buff Bagwell vs. Larry Sweeney vs. Harker Dirge Winner & TV Champion: 'Sweet & Sour" Larry Sweeney Note: Great match that saw alot of close falls... Buddy Rose seemed determined to win the match at whatever cost but the only pinfall scored in the match went to Larry Sweeney when he pinned Rose after the '68 Comeback Special
(ICWA Tag Team Title Tournament Round One Match) The James Gang beat Ted DiBiase & "Dr. Death" Steve Williams when BG James pinned DiBiase after the PUMP HANDLE SLAM NOTE: Fans seemed a bit shocked to see DiBiase and Williams handled so easily...in the early moments The James Gang managed to brutally double team Williams for several long moments...DiBiase finally got tagged in but the momentum of the match would not be shifted.
Championship Scramble for the vacant Impact Title Sam Hayne vs Adam Pearce vs Mike Quackenbush vs Ricky Landell vs JD Michaels Winner & Impact Champion: Ricky Landell NOTE: Awesome bout... Sam Hayne was a brutal beast in this match and hammered everyone around especially Quackenbush...Adam Pearce and Quackenbush battled for much of the match as well and Landell managed to score the first pinfall of the match on Quackenbush. In the closing seconds Quackenbush leveled Hayne with QUACKENDRIVER II just as Landell nailed Michaels with the TOP ROPE FISTDROP, however, the referee only saw Landell pin Michaels and counted three giving Landell the win and the title.
(ICWA Tag Team Title Tournament Round One Match) The Midnight Express beat The Road Warriors when Stan Lane pinned Animal after hitting him with Cornette's tennis racket NOTE: The Warriors were off their game tonight as the Midnights dominated... Lane and Eaton double teamed and pummeled Animal's back and neck...Hawk got tagged in but the numbers advantage proved too much...in the end Hawk tagged in Animal and they hit the DOOMSDAY DEVICE on Eaton, however, Cornette distracted the ref and slid the tennis racket to Lane... Lane nailed Animal in the back of the neck and rolled him up to score the controversial win.
MAIN EVENT Contender Match - Winner gets at Steve Corino's World Title Diamond Dallas Page beat Konnan with a Russian Leg Sweep NOTE: Good main event with lots of action...Konnan put on a good match but DDP would not be denied.
Promoter Final Notes: In what couldve been a humorous upset, Savage T got a two count on Bruiser Brody after he missed a turnbuckle charge
My favorite match on this card was without question the Heartbreak Express/Samoan Island Tribe match, it had everything a good tag team match should have...I look forward to booking another bout between these two teams in the future.
Larry Sweeney winning the TV Title seems appropriate and look forward to seeing how he does...
The James Gang/Midnight Express match in the Tag Team Semi Finals should be very interesting!
The Impact Title Scramble Match was my second favorite match of the night. It definetly had alot of excitement with it and the outcome makes things very interesting being that Landell is Corino's protege and the Impact Title is pretty much guaranteed top contendership.
Speaking of Corino... He now has to face DDP on the first TV show... personally I'll be rooting for Corino in this one... if Corino survives how will he handle Landell being a top contender for his World Title?

Newsline:
The ICWA Championship Committee has announced today that tomorrow night there will a 30 man over the top rope Battle Royal to determine the TRUE World Champion. Currently, Steve Corino is recognised as World Champion but there seems to be some controversy surrounding this. Corino is quite livid over the issue and states that he is the TRUE World Champion regardless what they say.
Corino did however sign to compete in the Battle Royal stating "Im going into this Battle Royal the Champion and I will still be the Champion when it's over and the Championship Committee had better just accept that... Im going in to prove that I am better than these 29 other former World Champions.

** - This program was held before the ICWA Championship Committee announcing the World Title Battle Royal
The show opened with the FTW Commentators Gordon Stone & The Ace welcoming the viewing audience to the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City for the first edition of FTW TV.
Savage T vs. Timber Savage T managed to get some limited offense in before Timber took over and basically destroyed him with a high impact offense...one LOG SPLITTER later and this match was over. **
JD Michaels w/April Hunter vs. Sam Hayne Hayne dominated this one and looked to be heading towards an easy win against Michaels but Michaels managed to reverse an irsh whip into the ropes and catch Hayne with a sunset flip to get the three count. 1/2*
DDP comes out and says that tonight is a good night to become the World Champion and tonight...Corino would FEEL THE BANG!!!
(Tag Team Title Tournament Semi Final Round) Heartbreak Express w/So Cal Val vs. Kings of Wrestling Great match, The Heartbreaks took the fight to the Kings and the Kings gave them hell right back. Chris Hero busted open Sean Davis outside the ring with a chair. The Kings seemed to dominate from that point on and went for the kill...the Heartbreaks tried every trick in the book but in the end Claudio hit Phil Davis with a springboard European Uppercut to advance to the finals. ***
Bloody Harker Dirge vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Pretty quick match and disappointing...Harker got some offense in but Hacksaw proved to be too much in this one and easily put him down with the FLYING SPEAR. 1/2*
The Ace interviews Jim Cornette backstage...Cornette boasts about putting The Road Warriors out of the tournament and states that he will do the same thing to The Roadie and Rockabilly... The Ace gets a good laugh from Cornette's remark. Cornette states they will go on next week to take down the Court Jesters of Wrestling to win the Tag Team Titles... He states that this is just the beginning as Camp Cornette is about to grow!!!
Playboy Buddy Rose vs. Buff Bagwell Bagwell dominated the match and didnt even let Rose get a move in edgewise and quickly put him away with the BUFF BLOCKBUSTER. *
(Tag Team Title Tournament Semi Finals) James Gang vs. Midnight Express w/Jim Cornette Great match! BG & Kip gave The Midnights a fight and even busted Bobby Eaton open. Both BG & Kip hit their finishers on both Eaton & Lane but distractions and interference from Cornette kept them from defeat...in the end interference from Cornette and a well timed right hand caused Kip James to be pinned and the Midnights advance to the finals. ***
(World Title Match) Steve Corino(c) w/Trinity Denucci & Ricky Landell vs. Diamond Dallas Page The Match got underway before DDP's introduction was finished as Corino stormed the ring and rammed DDP into the ringpost. Corino continued his attack and DDP countered and hit the DIAMOND CUTTER!!! Corino managed to kick out and Page hit another DIAMOND CUTTER...immediately Ricky Landell & Trinity Denucci jumped in the ring and attacked DDP causing the ref to disqualify Corino.
DDP stood in the ring motioning that the belt should be around his waist as Landell and Denucci helped a stunned Corino with belt in tow to the back

The event was non televised from the Ford Center in Oklahoma City, OK.
Steve Corino was seen entering the building looking very upset at the turn of events within the ICWA. Bill Apter tried to get a word with him but was shoved aside.

Dick Hutton by Mad Dog Vachon 13. Jim Londos by Gorgeous George 14. King Kong Bundy by Dan Severn 15. Gorgeous George by Giant Baba 16. Steve Corino by Giant Baba
Corino was enraged at this and began demolishing ringside equipment...he then flipped off the remaining wrestlers in the ring, officials, and the crowd. He then was overhead saying "Screw you Watts"
17. Mad Dog Vachon by George Hackenschmidt 18. Great Muta by Bobo Brazil 19. Adam Pearce by Dan Severn 20. Randy Savage by Iron Sheik 21. Giant Baba by Iron Sheik 22. Tonight the history books will be opened and a new chapter written...WHATCHA GONNA DO GOTCH WHEN HULKAMANIA RUNS WILD ON YOUUUU GRRRRRRRRRRRRR
(Brass Knucks Title Tourny Round One) Bruiser Brody vs. Missing Link Brody was on a tear and Link was nothing more than a small roadblock...Brody ran him down and hit two JUMPING KNEE DROPS before finally putting him away with a piledriver. **
(Brass Knucks Title Tourny Round One) Angelo Mosca vs. The Crusher This match was not for the squeamish as both men beat the living hell out of each other. Crusher was powerbombed through two tables and even smash with a chair until he wore a crimson mask. However, The Crusher would not be denied and rallied a comeback and put Mosca down with the CRUSHER BOLO. *** 1/2
ICWA Commissioner Cowboy Bill Watts is sitting in his office when Steve Corino bursts in... Corino complains that he was unjustly stripped of the World Title. Watts stated he had no control over the match (though he is on the championship committee) Corino demanded that since he was never defeated for the title that he wanted a title shot at the Iron Sheik. Watts told Corino that he understood how he felt and he would do everything in his power to fix the situation. He and Corino shook hands and Corino left...
Watts picked up the phone and called someone... Hey there...Ive got a little job for you and if you are successful you will be greatly rewarded...I know I can count on you...
(Light Heavyweight Title Tourny Round One) Danny Hodge vs Koko B Ware Hodge goes for an early deathjump...Ware rolls out of the way and then hits THE GHOSTBUSTER for the upset! *
(Light Heavyweight Title Tourny Round One) Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Red Bastien This was a crowd pleaser as both men put on a fast paced match of speed and agility. However Liger's superior agility won the match for him. Liger hit a top rope huracanrana to advance. **1/2
[glow=red,2,300]THE HOT SEAT WITH BILL APTER[/glow] This week's guest was Bobo Brazil who was accompanied by his good friend The Destroyer. Apter presented Brazil with an award for his work with underprivileged children in Michigan. Apter handed the award to Brazil. Apter and The Destroyer both applauded Bobo. The Destroyer asked to see the plaque as Apter asked Brazil more about his charities. Suddenly, The Destroyer nailed Bobo in the face with the plaque!!! Apter jumped back in shock as The Destroyer vicously pounded Bobo until he was a bloody mess. Apter asked The Destroyer why he would do such a thing....
The Destroyer: How could I do such a thing...to a great guy like this??? The man who helps snot nosed brats and stabs his best friend in the back? I saw the tape.... He hit me from behind to get rid of me in the Battle Royal and cost me the World Title! He knows I wouldve been the one to win it...but no... His ego couldnt have that...
Apter: It was an accident... He was trying to eliminate Iron Sheik and he ducked...
The Destroyer: (grabbing Apter by the collar) Are you calling me a liar??? (Apter shaking his head no) I saw what I saw... My best friend screwed me over to keep me from winning the title and lost himself... but more than that...He's lost a friend...see you around...pal!
A medical to a battered and bloodied Brazil as The Destroyer walked off the set... Gordon Solie and Lance Russel wonder if Brazil will be able to compete in his match with The Sheik tonight.
(World Tag Team Title Tourny Round One) The British Bulldogs vs. The Vachons This was a quick one sided match as the Bulldogs hit a double headbutt on Mad Dog and roll him up for the win. DUD
(United States Title Tourny Round One) Rick Rude vs Randy Savage Rude got in little offense as Savage seemed to be on his game and managed to get the pin using the ropes to advance. * 1/2
(United States Title Tourny Round One) Bobo Brazil, inj. vs. The Sheik with Abdullah Farouk Brazil refused to call the match off and went in to face his arch rival and despite being injured just moments before took the fight to The Sheik. The Sheik battered Brazil even more but Brazil kept rallying back and nailed him with the COCO BUTT (which stunned him as well) Farouk tried to hand The Sheik a foriegn object but Bobo nailed him with a forearm that sent him to the floor...Bobo then leveled The Sheik with another COCO BUTT as The Destroyer ran down to the ring, picked up the foriegn object and blasted Bobo with it! The Sheik rolled over and covered Bobo and got the three count. *****
The fans seemed ready to riot seeing their hometown hero attacked. The Destroyer left the ring being pelted with trash as he walked away.
(World Tag Team Title Tourny Round One) Steve Williams & Ted DiBiase vs. The Hart Foundation Decent match as Williams dominated early on and managed to give Neidhart the OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE but Hart made the save. DiBiase was tagged in and took over, however, Neidhart tagged out to Bret...from there the Hart Foundation took control and hit DiBiase with the HART ATTACK to get the win and advance. **
Main Event Hulk Hogan vs Frank Gotch This match did not disappoint...early on Hogan overpowered Gotch and hit the ATOMIC LEG DROP but Gotch kicked out much to Hogan's shock! Gotch managed a comeback and began to wear Hogan down with various submission holds. Hogan also made a comeback and kept Gotch reeling with his high power offense. Gotch would make yet another comeback and lock on more submission holds...Hogan looked about ready to submit but made the ropes. Hogan rallied one final comeback that saw Gotch take two big boots to the face before Hogan hit the ATOMIC LEG DROP once more to get the three count. *****

thanks man! I agree Corino is getting a raw deal here...however, The Iron Sheik says that he is a "cheap, no good jabroni, sonofabeach that he wants to suplex, put him in camel clutch...
I had to censor the rest as Sheiky kinda went off the deep end rambling on about being humble, drinking Becks beer, and sodomy.

[glow=red,2,300]FTW TV 10/06/08[/glow]
Tulsa Civic Center Tulsa, OK
Savage T vs Arik Cannon Once again Savage T comes in looking to pick up his first win in ICWA and gives Cannon some headaches but it doesnt last long. Cannon makes a quick recovery and rings T's bell with the GLIMMERING WARLOCK
April Hunter vs. Trinity Denucci "The Prize" was on top of her game and put a beating on Denucci and Denucci didnt stand a chance...one HEAD HUNTER and this one was over
Harker Dirge vs. JD Michaels The Bloody One gave Michaels one hell of a fight in this contest. Michaels ended up becoming frustrated and grabbed a chair and nailed Dirge with it causing a DQ... Commissioner Charlie Cox has said there will be a rematch between the two
King Kong Bundy paid a visit to FTW signing autographs for the fans, during this "Sweet & Sour" Larry Sweeney came to the ring with his TV Title in hand. Sweeney grabbed the mic and rudely interrupted Bundy. Sweeney made comments about watching Bundy at Wrestlemania 2 when he was a child. He then started calling Bundy over the hill and that he was no longer relevant. Bundy got up from the table after several mins of verbal abuse and went into the ring. Sweeney kept running his mouth until Bundy slapped him hard sending him to the mat! Both men began brawling until Commissioner Cox came out and stated that this was going to be a match and that Sweeney's title was on the line....Cox told the referee to ring the bell!
*TV Title Match* Larry Sweeney(c) vs. King Kong Bundy Bundy dominated the match tossing Sweeney around like a rag doll and had signaled for the AVALANCHE but Sweeney wisely rolled outside...Bundy followed but Sweeney nailed him with a chair! Bundy was busted open...Sweeney tried to roll Bundy back into the ring but he couldnt get his huge frame up. Sweeney climbed to the top turnbuckle and nailed Bundy with the 12 LARGE ELBOW DROP outside the ring. Sweeney rolled back into the ring as the referee counted Bundy out.
Samoan Island Tribe vs. The Heartbreak Express These two teams always seem to reak things down into a brawl when they meet. This match was no exception as things got brutal and bloody quickly. After several mins Sean Davis got the pin on Samu after a short arm clothesline.
Drake Younger vs. Sabu Sabu seemed to be off his game in this one and the rising star Drake Younger dominated the majority of the bout. Sabu became a victim of several light tube shots which made him a bloody mess. Younger hits the EXPLODER SUPLEX to get the upset.
*FTW Tag Team Title Tourny Finals* The Kings of Wrestling vs. The Midnight Express w/Jim Cornette This was a great match and very close. It looked like the Kings would walk out champions on a few occasions in this one. Finally Hero had Lane down and out when Eaton came in and nailed him with the tennis racket. Lane tagged out and Eaton hit the Divorce Court to win the tag titles.
*Impact Title Match* Ricky Landell(c) vs. Mike Quackenbush Landell came to the ring without Steve Corino & Trinity Denucci and this couldve played a factor in this one. Landell and Quackenbush put on one hell of a show. Both men got in alot of offense and counters but in the end it would be a perfect flying cross body off the top by Quackenbush that would catch Landell off guard and win him the title.

Destroyer brought the chair down over Beefcake's head hard busting him wide open. The referee quickly DQ'd The Destroyer.
The Destroyer grabbed the mic and said that was a message for Bobo Brazil...Destroyer again slammed the chair on Beefcake again until Cowboy Bill Watts came out and stated that if The Destroyer didnt leave now he would be suspended indefinatly. The Iron Sheik looked like his reign was going to be very short as the match spilled outside. Sheik bodyslammed Williams on the concrete and followed with a kick from the loaded boot before locking on the CAMEL CLUTCH to retain the title. After the match, The Iron Sheik kicked Williams several times in the boot with the loaded boot and tossed him outside. Sheik then gave Williams two backbreakers outside the ring before Ted DiBiase ran down to the ring with chair in hand and chased the Champion away before tending to his fallen friend.
