Starting operation in the very near future, a new independent wrestling promotion setting its sights on showing the big boys, namely the NWA, what wrestling is all about.
Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) will operate out of its home state of Pennsylvania. The company boasts an open door policy so any wrestler in the world today can come and try their hand.
ECW will not be a part of the NWA, which currently has International Championship Wrestling (ICW) and the United States Wrestling Association (USWA) among its members.
Here is the initial roster that will participate in a 24-man tournament to crown the first ECW champion. There will be three, eight-man brackets with the winners facing off in a Three Way Dance Elimination match for the title.
Chris Hero Claudio Castagnoli Ricky Landell Arik Cannon Adam Pearce Larry Sweeney Drake Younger Necro Butcher Mike Quackenbush Delirious Sam Hayne JD Michaels Timber Dupae Rupa Savage T Harker Dirge Chris Candido Justin Credible Sandman Sabu Steve Corino Danny Doring Terrible Turk Ox Baker
(Promoter's note) After over a year of not playing any of my LOW feds, I think I'll be picking everything up again. Eventually I'll start threads for my ICW and USWA promotions once I've got a little background to give everybody, since all my history is over on the old message board.
I name my feds after real life companies, not because I can't think of anything original on my own. I'm also considering a fourth promotion that would work under my NWA banner, that way I would be able to use all of the LOW cards without having very large rosters.

ECW Heavyweight Title Tournament Bracket B Final

Dirge came throught with a big win, dominating Landell. Dirge finished off Landell with a second Dirt Nap.

Credible got the better of Hayne after fighting on the floor. He used the Singapore Cane and then got the three count by coming off the top rope.
Sabu def. Dupae Rupa

ECW Heavyweight Title Tournament Bracket C Semifinals
Justin Credible def. Drake Younger
Younger had several nearfalls on Credible. They went back and forth until Credible hit the superkick.
Terrible Turk def. Sabu
The Turk put Sabu in a stranglehold and choked him out in a hurry. The Sandman and Ox Baker ran out for a major brawl. Then the ECW Areana erupted when Bruiser Brody stormed out, swinging his chain, and hitting everybody he could.
Non-Tournament
JD Michaels def. Chris Candido
A rematch from last week's win for JD in the tournament. Candido attacked Michaels later in the show. JD has Candido's number, stringing together three big-time moves to take another pinfall, then escaping before Candido and Justin Credible could get ahold of him.

ECW Hardcore TV #5 Viking Hall Philadelphia, PA July 29, 2118
The biggest show in the short history of ECW, as the first heavyweight champion will be crowned!
Dupae Rupa def. Harker Dirge
Dirge started off hot with a lot of offense, but the Belgian Brawler turned it all around. He put together several big moves and won with the Belgian Waffle.
In the ring: Larry Sweeney told the fans not only is he showing what a great wrestler he is in ECW, but he will be the best manager in the world today. Sweet & Sour Inc. will be forming soon and he is watching everyone for possible members.
Larry Sweeney def. Savage T
The Savage one took the fight right at Sweeney for awhile, but not very long. Sweeney then put a beating on Savage T and won with the 12 Large Elbow Drop.
Chris Candido def. Ricky Landell
Candido nailed Landell with an enzuigiri right at the bell, then got the three with a superplex for the win.
JD Michaels def. Danny Doring
A real nice match that JD controlled most of the way. Doring couldn't keep Michaels down, and JD eventually won with a flying elbow.
Claudio Castagnoli def. Adam Pearce
A very even matchup that neither could keep the upperhand for long. Both men went down in a heap and Claudio was able to roll over and get a three count.
Sam Hayne def. Delirious
A big win here for Hayne and manager Eddie Fyne. Delirious took a pounding but kept firing back. Delirious missed multiple high risk moves, and yet almost won but Fyne interferred. Hayne put the Devil Lock on for the win.
Arik Cannon/Timber def. Necro Butcher/Drake Younger
A real hardcore battle here that saw Necro and Younger dominate most of the match. The fighting went all around the ringside area. There were many different weapons used and Younger came off the ropes and got nailed by Younger for the pin.
Steve Corino def. Mike Quackenbush
Corino fought on the defensive most of this contest. It was a great battle that neither could find a way to put the other man down. Corino got the Old School Expulsion on for the win, then Danny Doring came out again to put a double team smackdown on Quackenbush. His partner Chris Hero was nowhere to be found.
Sandman def. Terrible Turk
Another very good back and forth brawl. A DDT by the Sandman gave him the win.
Bruiser Brody def. Sabu
A big reason to be at this show was to see Brody's first match back after a loss to Jimmy Snuka that sent him out of the LWA for 90 days. That term is not quite up yet, but Brody hit ECW hard last week.
Both wrestlers came with their 'A' game and had many nearfalls and huge moves on the other. Brody came away with a hard fought win, but the night wasn't over for him yet. After the bell, The Sheik stormed the ring and attacked Brody. These two fough through the crowd and all the way to the back.
ECW Heavyweight Title Tournament Final Three-Way Dance Elimination Match Chris Hero def. Justin Credible and Ox Baker
An instant classic for the ECW title. Ox and Credible spent most of the match fighting each other, stopping occasionally to knock down Hero. It was Hero who pinned Credible with a Hero Sandwich. Then the Hero's Welcome twice put Baker away to win the title.

ECW Hardcore TV #6 Allentown, PA Aug. 5, 2118
Paul Heyman opened the show with some big announcements. Next week, the ECW tag team title tournament will begin. The championship match will be a Three-Way Dance and take place at ECW Hardcore Heaven! Also, you will see many of the ECW wrestlers in Puerto Rico this Monday as that new promotion opens its doors for their first show.
SAM HAYNE def. SAVAGE-T
Savage-T is still in search of his first win in ECW, but continues to put up a good fight everytime out. He tried his best, using the top rope and fighting on the floor, but Hayne finally slowed him down and used Hell's Flames to beat him.
CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI def. DUPAE RUPA
Claudio took after taking Rupa to the outside, and the Ricola Bomb ended the match.
ADAM PEARCE def. HARKER DIRGE
Another good match as Dirge kept the momentum for most of the contest. Larry Sweeney came down to ringside and he tripped Dirge in the corner, allowing Pearce to get the pin. From the back came Brent Albright and after a beatdown on Dirge, Sweeney his members in Sweet & Sour Inc.
ARIK CANNON def. NECRO BUTCHER
ECW was well represented this week in the NWA world Jr. title tournament, and Cannon was one that gave a good showing. Necro Butcher didn't care and battered Cannon for most of the match with the Asiatic Spike. Cannon found an opening and the Glimmering Warlock put Necro down.
TIMBER def. DRAKE YOUNGER
Timber didn't need much time at all to use the Log Splitter for the win. Cannon came back out, then so did Necro Butcher and all four fought their way to the locker room.
RICKY LANDELL def. JD MICHAELS
Two more in the Jr. tourny, and Michaels was great as he reached the semifinals. Landell didn't care though, and Michaels was in a lot of trouble when April Hunter appeared out of nowhere to distract Landell. The distraction didn't last long though and Landell went on to win.
SANDMAN def. LARRY SWEENEY by D.Q.
Sweeney said you won't be seeing him in the ring much as he will be managing Albright and Pearce. He turned in a strong match though, and his newest charges came out to triple team the Sandman.
OX BAKER/TERRIBLE TURK def. IMPACT PLAYERS by D.Q.
A lot of great back and forth action, but these four couldn't keep it in the ring. Baker and Credible were in the title match last week and kept up their fight here. Baker hit the Heart Punch, and Candido threw the referee out of the ring and to the floor.
BRUISER BRODY/DELIRIOUS fought SHEIK/SABU to a Double D.Q.
An awesome war between Brody and the Sheik continued here. The Sheik threw the flame in the face of Brody very early in the match, and Sabu hit the Triple Jump Moonsault. Delirious, who went to the finals in the Jr. tourny, came in and cleaned house. Things broke down though and all four battled around the building. The match was thrown out, then the crowd exploded again when Superfly Jimmy Snuka showed up and attacked Brody. The former World champion has not been seen since the Hell in a Cell match against Brody.
SUPER FRIENDS def. STEVE CORINO/DANNY DORING
Hero and Quackenbush wrestled a great match against another team that will be in the tournament. The Hero's Welcome on Doring finally put an end to an outstanding main event.
Next week on Hardcore TV, the ECW Tag Team Title Tournament kicks off.

ECW Hardcore TV #7 Lancaster, PA Aug. 12, 2118
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH DUPAE RUPA def. SAVAGE-T and HARKER DIRGE
A great opening match with loads of back and forth action. Dirge was good this week in WWC in the Steel Cage Battle Royal. He sustained most of the offense in this one, but a Belgian Waffle on Savage-T gave Rupa the win.
CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI def. SANDMAN
The Sandman put up an awesome fight, and was also in the WWC hardcore battle royal. Castagnoli was impressive in controlling this one nearly all the way. Sandman never gave up and kicked out of two Ricola Bombs, but Castagnoli got the pin after a big knee off the ropes. (Sandman pin 9
JD MICHAELS def. RICKY LANDELL
A rematch from last week where Landell won despite the first appearance and interference of April Hunter. Big Red was again at ringside, and Landell dominated the match. Hunter did her part to help her man, and JD pulled out a tough win with a huracanrana.
NECRO BUTCHER/DRAKE YOUNGER def. ARIK CANNON/TIMBER
These four have developed a nice rivalry here in the early goings of ECW. All four were in WWC for the battle royal, and Cannon did eliminate Younger in that one. This match was pretty even and Necro pinned Cannon with a Tiger Driver.
SABU def. DELIRIOUS
This one was over in record time, and only served to get the main event started. Sabu grabbed a fast win with a huracanrana on a stunned Delirious. The Sheik came out to double team, then Bruiser Brody stormed into the ring, followed by Superfly Jimmy Snuka!
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH JIMMY SNUKA def. THE SHEIK and BRUISER BRODY
They rang the bell for an awesome battle between three all-time superstars. All were in WWC where Brody advanced in the Universal title tournament, while Snuka and the Sheik were both upset. All three then entered the steel cage battle royal, where Snuka was the last man eliminated by Ivan Koloff.
It was an all-out battle from start to finish, each man hammering both of the other two. Snuka came away the winner with the Superfly Leap on the Sheik.
ECW TAG TEAM TITLE TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND
BRENT ALBRIGHT/ADAM PEARCE def. SAMOAN ISLAND TRIBE
Larry Sweeney led Albright and Pearce to the ring, and from there it was a tremendous fight with Samu and Alofa. Sweeney's men started out good, then the Samoans, without Lou Albano, took control and pretty much dominated the match after that. The 20 minute time limit expired, but the fans wanted five more minutes and Paul E. Dangerously gave it to them. Pearce pulled out the win for his team after coming off the top rope on Samu.
SUPER FRIENDS def. THE MONGOLS
Sir Oliver Humperdink and the Mongols didn't last very long. Hero and Quackenbush worked well together and the Quackendriver beat Bepo.
BACKSEAT BOYS def. HEARTBREAK EXPRESS
A real fast one. Sean Davis missed a big elbow and the Yakuza kick by Trent Acid put him away.
IMPACT PLAYERS def. TYLER BLACK/JIMMY JACOBS
Credible and Candido came out the winners, but a serious grudge was started in this one. Early on Jacobs smashed Credible with the spike, busting him wide open. Things really got intense after that. Black hit the Phoenix Splash, but Candido turned the match around and the Blond Bomb beat Black.
YOUNG BUCKS def. NAPTOWN DRAGONS
The Jackson brothers put Scotty Vortekz away in a hurry with the More Bang For Your Buck.
OX BAKER/TERRIBLE TURK def. STEVE CORINO/DANNY DORING
The match went back and forth for awhile, but Baker and the Turk were too big and strong this time around. The Heart Punch put Doring down for the three.
Next week on ECW Hardcore TV, the semifinals: Brent Albright/Adam Pearce vs. The Super Friends Backseat Boys vs. Impact Players Young Bucks vs. Ox Baker/Terrible Turk

ECW Hardcore TV #8 Reading, PA Aug. 19, 2118
EDDIE KINGSTON def. DANNY DORING
The debut for Kingston and he worked a long match, but stayed on top most of the way. A backfist nailed Doring for the pin.
ERICK STEVENS def. CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI by C.O.
An excellent first match for Stevens as well. He turned vicious out of nowhere on the outside, then Castagnoli was jumped by members of Sweet & Sour Inc., causing him to be counted out. Stevens appeared to not appreciate the help he had just received.
STEVE CORINO def. DUPAE RUPA
Rupa showed some offense at the start but Corino got things going. It took the Old School Expulsion twice to get the three count.
CHUCK TAYLOR def. JD MICHAELS
A real intense, fast paced match with both men looking real good. April Hunter tried to help Taylor but Taylor dropkicked her, and scored the pin on Michaels. From out of nowhere Jazz strormed into the ring and tore into Hunter, with Ricky Landell racing out to fight Michaels.
RICKY LANDELL def. ULTRAMANTIS BLACK
The fans really like Ultramantis Black as he never quit fighting despite taking a massive beating. Landell had to come off the top twice before the Fisherman Buster for the pin.
TIMBER def. DRAKE YOUNGER
Timber turned the tide by sending Younger thru a table, and then using the Log Splitter three times before taking the pin. Arik Cannon and Necro Butcher both came out to start a big brawl before their match.
ARIK CANNON def. NECRO BUTCHER
Another great brawl with the Butcher using a table and the Asiatic Spike. Cannon took a lot of punishment but still won with the Glimmering Warlock.
SANDMAN def. SAM HAYNE by D.Q.
A rare disqualification after Hayne used the Hell's Flames on the Sandman, and also caught the referee with some of the fire.
SABU def. DELIRIOUS
A rematch after last week's real fast pin for Sabu. This time it was a spectacular display of death-defying moves. Delirious ended up on the receiving end of most of the damage. Sabu then won with the Camel Clutch.
ECW TAG TEAM TITLE TOURNAMENT SEMIFINALS
BRENT ALBRIGHT/ADAM PEARCE def. SUPER FRIENDS by C.O.
A backstabbing took place here as Chris Hero walked away, leaving Mike Quackenbush by himself. Hero was the legal man and the countout gave Sweet & Sour Inc. the win. Albright and Pearce then jumped Quackenbush, but Erick Stevens ran in to help. That brought Hero back into the ring, and then Castagnoli made it a three on three battle.
BACKSEAT BOYS def. IMPACT PLAYERS by D.Q.
Justin Credible decided to just blast anybody he could, both Kashmere and Acid, and the referee which cause the bell to ring. The Impact Players said it didn't matter they just put the Backseat Boys into the finals because there was no way those two scum balls can hang in ECW, or win the belts.
OX BAKER/TERRIBLE TURK def. YOUNG BUCKS
The huge power advantage was all Baker and the Turk needed in this one. The Heart Punch sent Nick Jackson down for the pin.

DAIZEE HAZE def. SARA DEL REY by C.O.
The preshow to ECW Hardcore Heaven opened with the singles debuts of both talented ladies. A tremendous rivalry was born in this one as Del Rey dominated most of the action. Haze never stopped fighting, but couldn't keep up the attack. The two went at it in and out of the ring. Haze hit Del Rey with a dive over the top rope, and beat her back in the ring to win by count out. Larry Sweeney came out to help Del Rey, which brought Claudio Castagnoli out to watch the back of Haze.
SAM HAYNE/HARKER DIRGE def. SAVAGE-T/DUPAE RUPA
Eddie Fyne sent his men charging into the ring. They took out the Belgian Brawler, then double teamed Savage-T and took an easy pin.
ECW HARDCORE HEAVEN Hammerstein Ballroom New York, NY Aug. 26, 2118
NWA WORLD JR. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP JD MICHAELS def. JUSHIN THUNDER LIGER (ch)
A stunning upset to kick off the payper view. JD Michaels continues to wrestle at the top of his game, and Liger had his share of offense but couldn't finish him off. Liger planted JD with the Fisherman's Buster, but April Hunter broke up the count. Michaels stunned Liger coming off the ropes, and used a handful of tights to grab the three count and win the World Jr. heavyweight title!
Jazz raced down and jumped on April Hunter, and the bell rang.
JAZZ def. APRIL HUNTER
A really stiff, hard-hitting fight between these two. April withstood the STF once, but Jazz came back later to apply it again to take the win.
BRODIE LEE def. FRITZ VON GOERING
These two have been working in Puerto Rico for WWC, as have many other ECW wrestlers. Sir Oliver Humperdink was unable to help his man as Brodie Lee was relentless. Lee blasted Von Goering with another big boot to win the match.
THE MONGOLS def. THE SAMOAN ISLAND TRIBE
Captain Lou Albano made his first ever appearance in ECW with his Samoans, while Humperdink brought out the Mongols. These four wild men battled tooth and nail. The Mongols maintained the advantage most of the time, but the Samaons always came back. The Mongols but a hurting on Samu and Alofa with their chains. The Samoans even took the Mongolian Drop, but a double clothesline in the corner finished off Samu.
CHUCK TAYLOR def. ULTRAMANTIS BLACK
Two more cruiserweights took centerstage and spent nearly the whole bout coming off the top rope. Taylor won after a second Awful Waffle on UMB.
HEARTBREAK EXPRESS def. NAPTOWN DRAGONS by D.Q.
Sean and Phil Davis looked great, hitting both opponents with the Heartbreaker. They controlled the action and Dustin Lee drug the ref out of the ring to prevent the count and was disqualified.
ERICK STEVENS def. RICKY LANDELL
Landell did everything but win. Stevens took a massive beating, but came back. He beat Landell with the Doctor Bomb.
TYLER BLACK/JIMMY JACOBS def. THE YOUNG BUCKS
The Young Bucks hit their finisher early on Tyler Black. Jacobs took over and used the End Time on Matt Jackson.
CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI def. EDDIE KINGSTON
An excellent, evenly fought match. Kingston showed he can keep on coming back. They traded misses off the top rope, then Castagnoli picked up the win after a big European uppercut.
IMPACT PLAYERS def. STEVE CORINO/DANNY DORING
Credible and Candido overwhelmed Doring right from the start, and a DDT by Credible ended this one in a hurry.
TABLES MATCH NECRO BUTCHER/DRAKE YOUNGER def. ARIK CANNON/TIMBER
All-out carnage and destruction is how to describe this one. Both team members had to go through a table before the other team could try to win it. Unfortunately, some wrestlers got to go through multiple tables. Timber sent Younger through first, then Necro broke a table with Cannon's back. Younger put Cannon through a table, and Necro did it again to Cannon. Necro set Timber on the top of two tables and came off the balcony to crush him and get the pin.
FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE SANDMAN def. SABU and DELIRIOUS
After all sorts of wild and crazy action, the match ended outside the Hammerstein Ballroom when the Sandman caned Sabu and got the pin out on the sidewalk.
BARBED WIRE BASEBALL BAT MATCH THE SHEIK def. BRUISER BRODY and JIMMY SNUKA
The Sheik was out of control and unstoppable in this one. Brody and Snuka managed little in the way of offense. The Sheik left both of them covered in blood after many uses of the bat, and after it broke, he used the barbed wire itself. The Sheik wrapped it around Brody's neck and won the match with the Camel Clutch.
THREE WAY DANCE ECW TAG TEAM TITLE TOURNAMENT FINAL BRENT ALBRIGHT/ADAM PEARCE def. BACKSEAT BOYS and OX BAKER/TERRIBLE TURK
Trent Acid opened up with a Yakuza kick on Ox Baker, and Kashmere used the Cradle Breaker on Adam Pearce. They landed the T-Gimmick on Baker. Albright got in the ring and beat Acid with the Crowbar. Larry Sweeney's men went round and round with Baker and the Turk. Ox hit the Heart Punch and Pearce came in the ring. He chased Pearce outside and was jumped by Sweeney. Pearce hit Ox off the top rope to grab the pin and win the ECW tag team titles!
ECW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MIKE QUACKENBUSH def. CHRIS HERO (ch) by C.O.
Just last week is when Hero turned on Quackenbush, setting off a bitter feud and this championship match. Quackenbush had things going for awhile, then it was Hero taking over and taking the fight to the challenger. After fighting on the outside, Quackenbush smashed Hero off the top rope down to the floor and ended up with a win by countout.
