Card #001 (Non-Televised) 01/26/09 - Cox Convention Center Oklahoma City, OK
Fans braved the cold temperatures and the icy road conditions to attend the opening card of the New UWF. Sixteen tournament matches would kick the fed off with a bang with the main event pitting two of wrestling's greatest World Champions against each other.
Television Title Tournament
1. Bruiser Brody bested Cowboy Bob Orton Jr. in a vicious opening match for the Television Title tournament. Both men brawled their way through this match and it looked like it could go either way. Finally after giving Orton a bodyslam on the concrete floor Brody would take full control and put Orton down with the JUMPING KNEE DROP to advance.
2. "Capt. Redneck" Dick Murdoch defeated Terry Taylor with the BRAINBUSTER. Taylor managed to hold the wily veteran off for some time with his agility but in the end Murdoch's craftyness would pay off and one BRAINBUSTER later he would go on the face Brody tomorrow night in Tulsa.
3. JD Michaels beat "Sweet & Sour" Larry Sweeney with the TOP ROPE ELBOW DROP. Sweeney just didnt bring anything into the match tonight and Michaels capitalized.
4. "Ravishing" Rick Rude put Don Muraco down with the RUDE AWAKENING. The Magnificent One gave THe Ravishing One a good fight but Rude seemed to be one step ahead of Muraco tonight. Rude advances from this hard fought battle to face JD Michaels tomorrow night in Tulsa.
Tag Team Title Tournament
5. The Midnight Express got by The Road Warriors when Eaton pinned Hawk after the ROCKET LAUNCHER. Hawk & Animal seemed destined to advance in the tournament after giving Eaton two consecutives DOOMSDAY DEVICES, but a well timed save by Condrey followed by a miracle comeback and the Midnights barely get passed the tournament favorites.
6. Naptown Dragons beat the Heartbreak Express via the DOUBLE DRAGON on Sean Davis. Close match by these two young teams. HBX come close when Scotty Vortekz is nailed with the HEARTBREAKER but only get a two count. The Dragons come back hard and double team Sean Davis before nailing their finisher to advance to face the veteran Midnight Express in Tulsa.
7. Samoan Island Tribe dominate the New Age Outlaws and get the win via a DIVING HEADBUTT on Kip James. The Outlaws either werent on their game or they just plain underestimated the Samoans. Samu & Alofa give both NAO a beating before putting Kip down for the count.
8. The Crusher & Mad Dog Vachon defeat The Guerreros (Chavo & Hector) via the Mad Dog's PILEDRIVER on Hector. The Guerreros gave both Crusher & Mad Dog fits for much of the match with their high flying offensive but once the match spilled outside the brawlers took control. Crusher and Mad Dog put a vicious beating on the brothers before Hector fell to the PILEDRIVER.
Heavyweight Title Tournament
9. Hacksaw Jim Duggan beat Angelo Mosca with the FLYING SPEAR. Two former gridiron warriors locked horns in this battle. Mosca just couldnt get anything to work for him and Duggan managed to put him down without too much trouble.
10. Diamond Dallas Page advanced over Larry Zbyszko with the DIAMOND CUTTER. The Living Legend tried everything in his arsenal tonight but DDP was unstoppable and one DIAMOND CUTTER was all she wrote for Larryland.
11. Curt Hennig tromped Dan Severn and advanced after the HENNIG PLEX. "Mr. Perfect" looked just that...PERFECT! Severn didnt know what hit him and was quickly put away with the Hennig Plex. If Hennig keeps this up and he will easily be wearing the UWF gold.
12. Konnan bested the One Man Gang and gets the win with a flying bodypress. Another short match, OMG just wasnt quick enough to keep up with Konnan tonight.
13. Mr. Wrestling II put Ted DiBiase down with the MILLION $ KNEELIFT. II didnt give DiBiase much of a chance to get any offense going and after 3 consecutive KNEELIFTs this match was over.
14. Dick Hutton beat Adam Pearce with a flying cross body off the top rope. The former NWA Champion Hutton easily got by the other former NWA Champion Pearce in this one. Hutton proved to be a bit too much for Pearce to handle.
15. "Dr. Death" Steve Williams defeated Steve Corino with the OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE. Great match between these two. Corino gave it one hell of a go and even nailed Williams twice with a ringside weapon but Doc would not stay down. Doc's power overwhelmed Corino and the OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE sealed the deal.
16. Harley Race defeated Nick Bockwinkel with a sunset flip. This was easily the best match of the evening. The clash of two of wrestling's greatest world champions lived up to and exceeded expectations. THe match was too close to call for either man, loads of counters and reversals. Race hit the PILEDRIVER, Bockwinkel got both the BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER and the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Neither man wanted to go down in defeat in this one. Finally the end came for Bockwinkel when he whipped Race into the ropes and ducked down for a back body drop but Race countered with a sunset flip to advance.

Tag Team Title Tourny Semi Finals 3. The Naptown Dragons upset The Midnight Express with the DOUBLE DRAGON on Dennis Condrey. 7. Mr. Wrestling II squeaked by Dick Hutton with an abdominal stretch. Good match between these two masters of the mat. Hutton tried several times to put the masked legend down but II wasnt having it. II hit the MILLION DOLLAR KNEELIFT multiple times but couldnt get a pinfall. Finally after several moments of wearing Hutton down, II manages to get the submission.
8. Harley Race beat Steve Williams with the PILEDRIVER. Williams started off strong taking down Race with lariats and even a Doctor Bomb, but Race showed exactly why he is a favorite in winning this tournament. All it took was two PILEDRIVERS and Race advances to meet Mr. Wrestling II in the semi-finals.

Ted DiBiase defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan with a spinning neckbreaker Solid match-up between the two. Card #005 02/05/09 - Cowtown Coliseum Ft. Worth, TX
The UWF rolled into a jampacked Cowtown Coliseum to present a night of great wrestling action. Before the show got off to a start Jonny Fairplay made his first UWF appearance walking into the ring. A chorus of boos let the reality tv star know he wasnt welcome. Fairplay got on them mic and thanked the crowd for the "warm" welcome. He then began to insult the crowd calling them a bunch of beer bellied, mullet having, trailer park redneck trash. He stated that he has come to bring some class to the UWF and that he has signed 3 men to form his "Tribal Council" and would announce them on the next card in Dallas, TX. With that Fairplay mocked the fans some more before leaving.
Dewey Robertson defeated Savage T with a sunset flip Savage T showed some actual skill in this match and managed to last a few moments with Robertson, however Robertson's skills got the better of Savage T. After the match Robertson, shook T's hand and thanked him for a good match.

Necro Butcher beat John O'Malley via TIGER DRIVER Necro Butcher made quick work of the UWF rookie in this one.
Danny Hodge defeated JD Michaels w/April Hunter via DQ Michaels tried everything in his power including using his valet for distraction but nothing could stop Hodge! Finally Michaels lets frustration get the better of him and tosses Hodge outside the ring and nails him in the back with a steel chair.
Bill Apter's The Hot Seat featured Ted DiBiase. Apter asked DiBiase about his match last week with Hacksaw Duggan and the show of friendship after several years of rivalry. DiBiase stated that time changes things sometimes and he is not the same man he once was. He stated that he is happy that they have mended old wounds and would like to team with Duggan and Steve Williams. He stated that they would all sit and talk about it when Williams returns from Japan in a couple of weeks.
The Dynamic Duo (Armstrong & Ware) edged out the Backseat Boyz when Armstrong pinned Trent Acid after a kneelift. Although they lost, The Backseat Boyz made an impressive debut against the Dynamic Duo. This is what tag wrestling should be as both team utilized frequent tags and double team manuevers. Kashmere & Acid came close a couple of times to getting the win but the experience of Armstrong and Ware won out. The crowd gave both teams a standing ovation.
Mike Quackenbush beat Claudio Castagnoli with a running palm strike This was another crowd pleaser...both men put on a hell of a match with some great spots.
The Road Warriors beat The New Age Outlaws via running clothesline on BG James Now the Warriors are on a 2 win streak... they didnt dominate this match like they did against the Naptown Dragons. The NAO gave Hawk & Animal a [censored] good fight...each hitting their finishers but the Warriors rallied back hard for the win.
Television Title Match "Ravishing" Rick Rude(c) w/Sensational Sherri beat Konnan via RUDE AWAKENING Rude showed any doubters why he is the man with the TV Title as he simply overpowered and outwrestled the Mexican superstar.

The UWF rolled its way into the historic Sportatorium in Dallas with another action packed card for the fans in attendance.

After the match The Sheik continued his assualt injuring Rodz by dropping him neck first on the guardrail. Finally Dewey Robertson ran down to the ring and fought The Sheik off. Medics tended to the injured Rodz as Robertson grabbed the mic.
"This noble sport has no room for a maniac like The Sheik. The Sheik offers nothing but sadism and violence... no scientific wrestling, no sport....just pain and bloodshed! This man should be barred from wrestling!"
Commissioner Charlie Cox made his way down to the ring and announced something would be done about this incident and that The Sheik would be suspended for 5 cards. Robertson didnt seem pleased with the announcement and reiterated that The Sheik should be suspended permantely. Cox stated that he respected Robertson's opinion but Robertson doesnt run the UWF. With that Robertson left in a huff.

UWF Owner Cowboy Bill Watts came down to the ring with Bill Apter and addressed the fans on what they could expect in the future from the UWF until he was interrupted by
Watts asked Fairplay what the hell he thought he was doing. Fairplay told Watts to chill and take a break that the fans came to see him and not some old broken down has-been. Watts was clearly getting angered by this and got in Fairplay's face and began poking him in the chest. Watts told Fairplay that he had better watch his mouth or else he would snap his scrawny neck. Fairplay backed off a bit and said that Watts wouldnt want to injure him before the fans could find out who Fairplay has signed to manage.
With that The Samoan Island Tribe came down to the ring both men staring down Watts... Apter wisely stepped out of the ring. Fairplay again began to run his mouth, telling Watts that if he laid a hand on him that his boys would take him out. Watts took off his sport coat and tossed it outside along with his cowboy hat, Watts rolled up his sleeve and looked ready to take Fairplay and the Samoans on.
Suddenly Superfly Jimmy Snuka hit the ring and stood on Watt's side... Fairplay looked scared but soon gave a grin as Snuka blindsided Watts with a thrust kick to the throat! From there Snuka and the Samoans began to work over the Cowboy. Fairplay then ordered Samu & Alofa to hold The Cowboy up as Fairplay slapped him over and over. Ted DiBiase and Hacksaw Duggan stormed the ring with chairs causing Fairplay, Snuka, and The Samoans to make a hasty retreat.
After the break Bill Apter reported that Cowboy Bill Watts had been taken to the local hospital here in Dallas. Commissioner Charlie Cox announced that Fairplay, Snuka, and The Samoans were suspended indefinately.

In the end The Dragons get the duke after hitting their finisher on Johnny Kashmere.
After the match Jim Cornette stepped into the ring with mic in hand and demanded that The Backseat Boyz cease and desist using The Midnight Express' entrance theme. Cornette said he would have lawyers handle this if necessary. Kashmere and Acid looked at Cornette and then each other... then laughed. Cornette swung his tennis racket but both men dodged it. Kashmere and Acid then grabbed Cornette and hit the T GIMMICK to the crowd's approval.
Bruiser Brody smashed The Crusher via JUMPING KNEE DROP Great brawl but it was over quick once it spilled outside. Brody took the reigns and hammered The Crusher enough to level him with his finisher
The Road Warriors devastated The Dynamic Duo when Animal pinned Brad Armstrong after the POWERSLAM The Road Warriors streak of wins continues as they batter another team into pulp. The Warriors are close to recieving a UWF Tag Title shot against The Midnight Express.
Adam Pearce beat Konnan by DQ Great match that Pearce had won, Konnan lets frustration get to him and rams Pearce into the ringpost.
Curt Hennig defeated Diamond Dallas Page with a flying body press In this contenders match Hennig keeps his top spot in the rankings and the possibility of a title shot against Harley Race.
