WCCW What's Happening Congratulations to Rick Rude who regained the WCCW title from the Ultimate Warrior after defeating David Von Erich in a number one contenders match earlier on in the night. Rude’s first title defense will be at The LWA Parade Of Champions held in Texas stadium at the end of the month. The fans seem split on who they’d like to see get that title shot. Some are behind the home town favorite David Von Erich and some are hoping to see a rematch between the Ultimate Warrior and Rude. Sources inside WCCW headquarters feel that Commissioner Barfield is leaning toward David Von Erich. Barfield has promised to reach a decision within in the next 2 weeks. The Family feud between members of the Von Erich family heated up recently when K evin and Fritz Von Erich along with Mark Youngblood took on Waldo and Lance Von Erich along with manager Oliver Humperdink in a 3 man tag team elimination match. The match came down to a one on one contest between brothers Fritz and Waldo with Fritz forcing Waldo to tap out to the Iron Claw. Waldo Von Erich and Oliver Humperdink claim the war has just begun and have promised to send each estranged member of Waldo’s family home in a bodybag Pedro Morales defeated Kevin Von Erich for the Texas title at the big St. Valentines Day Massacre pay per view and claims he’ll defend his title against anyone , anytime, and anyplace. Morales was very pleased when a man he has some unresolved issues with The Blue Demon was the first one to come forward and accept the challenge. The last time these met was back in January when The Blue Demon atttacked Morales with a steel chair while referee Rick Hazzard was temporarily knocked unconscience. Hazzard recovered just in time to see The Blue Demon cover Morales and award him the victory Killer Khan continues to devastate opponent after opponent since coming to Texas and seems like an unstoppable force. Rumor has it both Gary Hart and Oliver Humperdink have expressed interest in having Khan join their stables. Khan (through an interprator) stated he is searching for a manager but has no interest in working for either Hart or Humperdink. Khan says he’s currently in negoations with someone outside of WCCW but refused to say who The Great Kabuki won the four man brass knuckles title tournament defeating Pampero Firpo in the final round. Kabuki has already agreed to defend the title against Superstar Bill Dundee this coming month. As a result of the loser leaves town battle royal the WCCW says farewell to Justin Credible, Judas Mesias , Timber, Danny Doring, and Papa Shango. Also making their exit from the WCCW Al Kassie and Pampero Firpo. The WCCW wishes them the best in all future endeavors. And that what's happening !
