Samoa Joe with a clean victory over Andre? I would've never thunk it. It's really gonna suck when if loses the title to someone like Savage T. LOL Nice job with the PPV. Thanks for taking the bull by the horns.

I'll be honest. I was really concerned about Andre getting the title shot. Not sure what it would've meant had he won, but kinda glad it turned out the way it did. Again, great job.

Bout #3: Kenny Doane vs. - Doane was supposed to be facing Colt Cabana here tonight, but with Monday's trade, Kenny did not know his opponent. The Final Countdown hit and Bryan Danielson made his much awaited return to CCW! A great match unfolded, as Kenny was looking to steal his thunder. Bryan hit 3 fast neckbreaker drops to set up the Labell Lock for the win at 10:24. After the match, both men shook hands. Bout #4: The Road Warriors (w/ Ellering) vs. The All Night Express - King missed a running double-ax handle to start the match and that was it for the ANE, as Animal scored the pin on King following a spike piledriver at 1:22. Titus tried to make the save, but Hawk sent him flying. After the match, Ellering took the house mic. PE: These men are hungry. These men want what is rightfully theirs back. These men are not nice when they want something. These men should be at the next PPV getting their shot at their World Tag Team Titles, but I have a feeling that certain powers that be will want to do anything they can to make sure that these men never get their hands back on what is rightfully theirs. Bout #5: Nigel McGuinness vs. Kurrgan - This match was brutal the whole way through, as Kurrgan's size was really wearing on the former champion. Nigel got in some good offense, but Kurrgan kept pounding on Nigel's neck and head. Kurrgan locked on his Paralyzer, but Nigel hooked the ropes. Enraged, Kurrgan yanked the former champ up by his head and threw him out of the ring. the ref got in Kurrgan's face, which earned the helpless fed a monsterous head-butt. Kurrgan went over the top ropes and started to attack Nigel. McGuinness' nose was bleeding and larged welts were starting to form on his neck. As the ref called for the bell, DQing Kurrgan at 13:47, Killer Kowalski came out to the ring and joined in the attack on Nigel. The ref called for the bell again, but that did not slow down these two. Bryan Danielson raced out of the back and nailed Kowalski with a huge flying forearm shot. Danielson grabbed a chair and drove back the the two men long enough for Dr. Wagner Jr and Antonio Inoki to turn the odds. Nigel was helped up, as he looked to be in really bad shape. Bout #6: Kevin Steen (w/ El Generico) vs. Hartford Love (w/ Reginald & Kashmere) - Sweet and Sour Inc focused on the TRD Hertitage Tag Champions tonight, as Steen and Hartford locked horns. Things broke down fast, as all the seconds got involved. The ref threw the match out at 8:18, ruling it a No Contest. Bout #7: Antonio Inoki & Dr. Wagner Jr vs. The Destroyer & Killer Kowalski - New alliances seem to be forming, as Destroyer and Kowalski worked really well as a team here. Inoki and Wagner, no strangers to tagging, held their own and seemed to have the match well in hand, when DDP came out of the crowd and pulled wagner off the apron. DDP nailed the champ with a Diamond Cutter and left him laying, while Destroyer kept the ref busy. Kowalski and Destroyer took advantage of the situation and finished off Inoki with a loaded fist to the jaw, allowing Kowalski to score the seemingly clean pin at 14:07. After the match, DDP, who appeared to have left through the crowd, snuck back into the ring and nailed Kowalski with a Diamond Cutter, shocking everyone. DDP escaped the ring before Destroyer could grab him. Main EventBout #8: CCW Tag Team Championship Match Masa Saito & Finlay vs. The American Wolves (c) - In a rematch from last week, these two teams locked horns in a great main event here to close out July. No outside interference here, as both teams looked sharp, with the Wolves holding the speed advantage and the power going to Finlay and Saito. The end of the match was very exciting, as Saito caught Edwards with a Saito Suplex for a near fall. Then Saito tagged Finlay who nailed him with his Celtic Cross, but Davey made the save. As Davey and Finlay started to battle, Saito made a bliond tag and pounced on the hurting Edwards. He locked in the Scorpion Leglock deep and refused to let go until Eddie had no choice but to tap out at 18:52. The win gives Saito his second reign as tag team champion and Finlay his first.

---NEWS BREAK---
Blockbuster Trade Questioned By Other Owners
- CCW's owner Jason Jaconetti has pulled off another blockbuster trade, as he sent The Briscoe Brothers, Colt Cabana & former tag team champs The American Wolves to Tradition for Bryan Danielson. While Mr. Jaconetti has been known to make some monster deals in the past, many feel that this deal was ill-advised. The feeling that CCW gave up too much talent to bring in Danielson has been heard across the territories. Mr. Jaconetti respond to these comments.
"It was about opportunities. Rob (Bennett, owner of Tradition) was just starting up again and I looked at TRD as a place for some opportunies for certain guys. The Briscoes were caught in a log-jam of tag teams all fighting for that one shot. With Taker and RVD teaming now, it was just getting to be hard to find guys slots on the card. TRD offers them a chance to be top dog again. As for Colt, he needed a change of scenery. We love Colt, but letting him be seen by some fresh eyes will only do him good."
When asked about The American Wolves, Mr. Jaconetti said, "It's tough, but sometimes you have to part ways with talent that is hot to get pieces in place that would help the company as a whole. We did that with Danielson before, along with other great talents that have flourished in other places. Many of those guys look back at their time in CCW as their spring board to championship gold. I mean, would Joe have earned his World Title without being TV champion here first, probably yes, but his exposure here and track record for winning helped open doors for him. We see this as the Wolves chance to grow from what they have done here and become an even bigger tag team draw. Could they have done that here, of course. But the LWA should be about all of us growing, territories and talent alike, and not about territories raiding talent from another. We all profit as the LWA is successful."
The topic of Danielson's "cost" lead the owner to simply say, "Value is determined by the marketplace. Don't worry guys, this was a great deal for everyone involved."

Carolina Championship Wrestling South Carolina 8-2-2012 - Thursday Titans TV Taping Bout #1: CCW TV Title Match Killer Kowalski vs. Shane Douglas (c) - This rematch was being talked about because Kowalski nearly had an answer for everything Douglas was able to do in their first match. This time out Kowalski looked even better, as he had Shane well scouted again. The turning point came when Shane was dumped over the top ropes and clipped his head on the rampway to the ring. Shane fell the rest of the way to the floor, hitting his shoulder hard. Kowalski jumped on this and rammed him into the ring post. He threw a hurt Shane in and nailed him with a Bombs Away and then locked on his Claw Hold. Shane was not able to get his shoulder off the mat at 12:35 and was counted down for the pin. Douglas looked to be really hurting after the match, as the new champion argued with the hostile crowd. Bout #2: Jimmy Valiant (w/ Johnny) vs. Johnny Kashmere - The Snow - Sweeney fued is growing, as both sides try and secure as many allies as possible. This match saw both tag team specialists trying to gain an advantagw, but the tide kept flip flopping. Kashmere finally caught Jimmy with a cross body block, that allowed him string together a few moves and nail a splash of the top to win at 8:39. Bout #3: Return Match Kenny Doane vs. Bryan Danielson - Kenny wanted this rematch badly. He felt that being ready to face Colt last week had not had him prepared to face Danielson. Kenny and Bryan shook hands to open the match and both me looked solid. Kenny was able to out quick a few moves, but overall it was very even. As Kenny was getting ready to try his Sky High Legdrop, Ox Baker and Kurrgan come down the ramp and attack both men. Kenny and Bryan foght back well, but they are tired from their match. The ref calls for the bell and rules the match a no contest at 9:07. As the ref is having the bell rung repeatedly, RVD and Undertaker come out. They blast their opponents, as Kenny and Bryan regroup on the rampway. Bout #4: Ox Baker & Kurrgan vs. RVD & Undertaker - Once this match got started, it was pretty short because most of the battle happen before the bell. Undertake nailed Ox with a Tombstone to win at 4:01. As the ref called for the bell, Kenny jumped on Ox and started to pound him. Undertaker did not like being shown up amd shoved Doane down hard. Kenny popped right up and eat a big punch from the deadman. RVD grabbed Undertaker's arm and started totell him to stop. Some tense words were passed between the partners, before cooler heads prevailed. Bout #5: The Road Warriors (w/ Ellering) vs. The Love Brothers (w/ Sweeney & Kashmere) - A great tag team war, as both teams played to their strengths. Hartford appeared to have Hawk pinned after a shocking cross-body block, but the ref was busy with seperating Ellering and Sweeney. As Hawk turned the tide back to the Road Warriors, Kashmere tried to interject himself. Hawk nailed him with a clothesline and then blasted Reginald with a huge forearm smash. The Road Warriors nailed their Doomsday Device for the hard fought win at 28:18. After the bout, Ellering took the house mic. PE: Once again, it appears that my men are being overlooked by the LWA championship committee. These men want their gold back and everyone knows that they deserve their rematch for what stolen from them. They will continue to take apart everyone in their way, until only The Predators are left. Mark my words, the Legion of Doom is one the rise. Bout #6: Non-Title Match The All Night Express vs. Kevin Steen & El Generico - The former CCW Champs lock horns with the TRD Hertitage champs in this non-title battle. As Steen and Generico look forward to their upcoming TRD defense, ANX are looking to move into that title picture as well. Great back and forth action, as Steen and King blasted each other with stiff shots. Great action eventually spilled out of the ring, as all four were involved. The ref was counting yhe two legal men (King & Steen), as the battled. King dove under the ropes just before the ref counted out Steen at 10:56. The ANX now had a non-title win over the Heritage Champs, even if only by COR. Bout #7: DDP vs. Johnny Valiant - This was not much of a match, as the the Love Brothers attacked Johnny before he got to the ring. The Love Brothers dumped Johnny into the ring and the ref asked him if he wanted to start. DDP kept yelling for the ref to start the match and when he did ring the bell, DDP nailed him with a Diamond Cutter. DDP hooked the tights for no reason and scored the lightning fast win at 0:10. DDP has shown that he is not affraid to take every shortcut needed to get a win. Main EventBout #8: Antonio Inoki, Nigel McGuinness, & Dr. Wagner, Jr vs. Masa Saito, The Destroyer, & Finlay - Inoki and Wagner are set to meet for the LWA Championship down the road, but they are still partners here tonight. They looked good, tagging in and out well, as the three of them tried to keep Finlay isolated. Nigel caught him with his Jawbreaker Lariat, which brought Destroyer and Saito storming into the ring. A wild brawl broke out and the ref had to DQ both teams at 10:49. During the 6 man war in teh ring, DDP came out through the crowd again and delivered a Diamond Cutter on Wagner, as he was able send Destroyer over the top rope. DDP was going for a second Diamond Cutter, when Inoki made the save, as DDP slid out, looking very happy with himself.

Douglas, who was not cleared to wrestle tonight due to last week's hard fall, started stomping and beating on the champion. The ref called for the DQ at 6:13, which really shocked Jimmy. He kept pleading that he did not plan this attack, so why should he be punished? Bout #2: Return Match Johnny Valiant vs. DDP - This week the match actually occured, as Johnny made a strong showing to start. DDP went low and that turned thing immediately. A face first piledriver followed by a Diamond Dream was all DDP needed to win at 8:40. Starting Next Week: The Power Series RETURNS!Bout #3: The Love Brothers vs. RVD & The Undertaker - "This booking reeks of Al Snow!" was heard backstage, as The Loves made their way out to the ring. (The match was booked by Snow) The original booking was for the Loves to face The All Night Express in a #1 Contender's Match, but that has been bumped off for this match. The Loves are no slouches in the ring, but they were prepared for the ANX, but instead gets Taker and RVD. The Loves came out using their underhanded tactics early and had Taker hurting, until Reginald was grabbed by the throat and choked to the mat by Taker. Hartford tried to save his brother, but RVD nailed him with a spin kick to the head. Taker then delivered a huge Tombstone to Reginald for the win at 10:18. Bout #4: Kenny Doane vs. Ox Baker - Kenny was asking for this match, because he wanted to get revenege on Baker. Baker used his size early to hold the advantage, but the former leader of the Spirit Squad was far from out. Kenny caught Ox with a cross-body block over the top ropes and to the floor. As the fought on the floor, Ox attempted a heart punch, but Doane moved, causing Ox to strike the ring post. Kenny slammed the hurt hand into the steps and started to stomp on it. Bout #7: Bryan Danielson (w/ Nigel) vs. The Destroyer - An outstanding match between these two top of the card competitors. Nigel kept his distance from the action, out of respect for Bryan. The Destroyer went for a huge running clothesline, but Bryan ducked and backdropped The Destroyer over the top ropes and to the floor. The Destroyer landed on his back and seemed to have all the air knocked out of him. The ref counted to 10 and Danielson was awarded the match via COR. Main EventBout #8: CCW Championship Match - Ringside Enforcer: Antonio Inoki Kurrgan vs. Dr. Wagner Jr (c) - Inoki is acting as the guest Ringside Enforcer to ensure none of DDP's antics during the match. Wagner will have his hands full with the giant Kurrgan without having to worry about a loose cannon like DDP. Wagner had his hands full with Kurrgan, as the big man kept trying to latch onto the double champ. DDP came walking down the ramp, as Inoki intercepted him. DDP threw his hands in the air and acted like he had done nothing. Kurrgan went for his Paralyzer, but Wagner slipped away and set up a modified Wagner Driver. Then the champ locked on his Wagner Lock, but Kurrgan was too strong. A second modified Wagner Driver and the champ scored the win at 5:11. As this was happening, DDP made like he was walking back to the locker room, but instead rushed Inoki and nailed him with a Diamond Cutter.
