Zeke dodged the first attempt at the spear....but could not get out of the way of the last one. Vader gets DQ'ed by throwing a chair at DJ's head.....but that did not stop Vader as he threw a bloody Peterson in the ring and then hit his VADER BOMB. A great match saw Brian take early control with his speed. Ole held on and turned the match around with his ground and pound style. Ole used every move in his bag of tricks but could not get Pillman to submit or keep him down for the 3 count. Ole let his temper get to him and made a huge mistake by going to the top rope a second time on Pillman. This time it backfired as Pillman rolled out of the way of a big splash. This woke Brian up and after a few high flyin' moves finished Ole with his AIR PILLMAN. In another upset.....Sid controlled the match with his power and looked to have Elix finished Early, but Sid took it to the floor. On the floor Sid turned his attention to the fans at ring side, Elix took advantage and ran Sid into the Ring rail....Sid hit hard and busted his head open....Elix threw Sid back into the ring and went after him with high flying moves.....then finished him with the PLAY OF THE DAY. MATCH OF THE NIGHT Austin Idol vs Tully BlanchardA good match up as these two had a old fashioned wrestling match.....well most of it anyway.....Blanchard did send Idol to the floor after whipping him into the turnbuckle and Idol's momentum sent him to the floor. Tully of course took full advantage by ramming Austin into the steel ring rails. After that it was completely in the ring where Blanchard wore Idol down and got the win with his FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. NEXT SHOW : 4-22-2010 Concord, North Carolina @ The Cabarrus Arena & Event Center Featuring : Shawn Michaels, Samoa Joe and many other Superstars.

CCW HOUSE SHOW 4-28-2010 Columbia, South Carolina Mays Arena Capacity : 3,500 BRANDON MATHIS **(Local) vs 2:41SID VICIOUSELIX SKIPPER * vs 7:53STEVE KEIRN ***** JIM POWERS *** & PAUL ROMA vs 7:09CACTUS JACK & TERRY FUNKBRIAN PILLMANvs 2:04TULLY BLANCHARD ** AUSTIN IDOLvs 6:36OLE ANDERSON *** MAIN EVENT TERRY TAYLOR & SAM HOUSTON * vs 22:32MICHAEL HAYES ****** & JIMMY GARVIN ** ATTENDANCE : 2,100 NOTES : Roma & Powers vs Cactus & FunkThe hardcore duo of Cactus Jack and Terry Funk run wild on the young team of Roma and Powers. Roma never makes it into the ring as Jack and Funk destroy Powers. The Hard core legends would keep Powers in the half of the ring, and would use the ringside are as well. The beginning of the end started with a Cactus Jack Powerbomb on the hard concrete.......the final straw was a Cactus Jack diving chair elbow from the ring apron on to a downed Powers. The referee counted 10 and called for the bell......but he could have counted to 100 as Powers was out cold. Pillman vs BlanchardPillman used his speed to surprise Blanchard with a quick pin after a cross body block/press. Idol vs AndersonIdol gets the win in this one after a running elbow. The Action in this match was furious, as these two have had a history with each other back in Southern States Wrestling.......Both men spent most of the match brawling at ring side. Idol took control after running Ole into the ring post and had a easy time in pinning Ole after that. MATCH OF THE NIGHT : Taylor & Houston vs Garvin & HayesA classic tag team match up.........Taylor and Houston controlled the first 7 or 8 minutes of the match by trapping Michael Hayes in the ring. After many tags and several pin attempts by Taylor and Houston, Hayes finally got a tag and Garvin took control. Garvin and Houston went at it for over 12 Min. in a back and forth exchange......Garvin had 2 near falls but Houston slipped out and made the tag. Taylor came in like a house on fire and finished the match after hitting Garvin with a FIVE ARM to get the 3 count. As Taylor continued to control the match he threw Funk into the turnbuckle, and charged at him. Funk moved and Taylor hit the ring post and fell out of the ring. Taylor just got back in the ring before he got counted out, and Funk wasted no time going after the dazed Taylor. Funk got a 2 3/4 count on Taylor and was starting to work him over pretty good. As Funk went to pull Taylor up from the mat Terry meet the Funner with a Small Package and held on for a 3 count. Garvin-Keirn vs Kurt-Karl Von Brauner w/ Saul WeingeroffAn impressive debut for the Von Brauner's in this match. Kurt and Karl had complete control in the match and used a methodical pace at beating and bashing on Garvin and Keirn. The match ended after Garvin and Karl were fighting at ring side. Jimmy charged and Karl back dropped him over the ring rail into the crowd, causing Jimmy to go crashing into the chairs. Garvin never recovered from that. Karl threw him back in the ring and locked in his NERVE CLAW.......but Keirn and Precious made attempts to help but both failed and Garvin was out and the referee called for the bell. Chris Adams vs Ole AndersonAdams starts off fast with a monkey flip followed by 2 super kicks that send Ole to the floor asking for a time out. Back in the ring Adams does not slow down and rocks Anderson. Ole tries to mount some sort of offense but Adams has none of that and goes back to his beat down. Ole escapes out of the ring and Adams follows....Ole takes this chance to hammer Chris in to the ring rails, and after the referee plead with Ole to stop he drops Chris into the rail right in front of the referee.........he saw enough and called for the bell........Ole just walks to the back......... Brian Pillman vs Don Muraco A wild but short match up that saw both men hit their finisher......but only one was used to win the match. The action as fast and went back and forth and actually it was action at ring side that caused the outcome of the match. Muraco went to the floor to try to slow Pillman down.......but Brian had different ideas. Pillman launched himself through the ropes to the floor right into Muraco. Don was hurt and Pillman took full advantage. Back in the ring Pillman hit his AIR PILLMAN to get the fall in this match......Muraco's debut in CCW was not how he would have liked to see it. MATCH OF THE NIGHTAustin Idol vs Cactus JackA wild match that saw both men take a beating.......and both men dish one out too. Jack had it all his way to start the match and Idol looked in trouble, but Austin fought back and had Jack looking a little wobbly.......it went back and forth like that for over 15 minutes. But they took it to the floor and Jack went to far and caused the referee to call for the bell.......Idol gets the DQ Win. Eddie Fyne with The Masked Superstars behind him.
"Soooo, CCW wants to get the pulse of the fans. The men behind me have a pulse. And they want to prove it by challenging any team in CCW to a match. It could be on Friday Night. It could be in our house or your house. It really doesn't matter. You're looking at the future LWA Tag Champs right here. Only a matter of time."
