A place Feature ideas for COTG/LOW Online. Feel free to add to the list. Let your imagination run free. No telling what might spark ideas in the Creative Team! But also know there may not be a way to implement your idea, this is just to get them out there in the world.

Couple of thoughts of mine... ALL ONLINE - Ability to make your fed public to EVERYONE on the net. Visit www.COTGONLINE.com/user/Toasterboy to see my latest results. - And with that Facebook and Twitter integration. Nothing will get more eyes on the online version of the game that those two things. 'Share your results on Twitter' - Wordpress or HTML markup results. Much like the BBC code, a versioin that exports to HTML to post on your own blog or website. - I know this was discussed years ago, but a way to port CAC or 'Non Official' characters results to 'Official' Cards. This is one of the biggest things keeping me from buying more LOW sets. I don't use all the LOW cards but I do/did track my LOW fed results. Several of the guys I use are in LOW Set 4 for online, but I already have 'years' of results with those guys in my fed, so I'd have to go reedit all my past results. EX: take my 'non official' Hacksaw Jim Duggan and port his wins and losses to the 'Official' card so his art shows up as well.

The last one is doable, and is also a good idea, but because of return on investment will be a little farther down on the pole. It can (and will) get done someday, though.

I"m just playing the sims, but here are a few things
1) I know there are several types of ref options, but I would like to see face/heel ref instead of the fast/slow count, etc. I think you could establish the faces and heels having the more face wrestler on the left and the more heelish wrestler on the right, or vice versa
2) I generally don't care for them, but since they are a staple in wrestling today...Triple Threat matches
3) Having more than three wrestlers on the same side
4) Handicap matches (we do have Cornette and Heenan in the game)
I saw some talk of the rankings on the other board and say there has to be an adjustment to them due to varying skills of the wrestler.
Not fair if Hillbilly Jim goes 6-0, but is only beating guys like Danny Doring and Amish Roadkill but Harley Race is 3-3 but facing guys like Gotch and Brody
I know its not the perfect system, but I use the Rahl System and use point values
If the Rahl Rating is 40 or more, then a win over that person is 5 points...
30-39 - 4 points
20-29 - 3 points
0-19 - 2 points
Under 0 - 1 point
(if there is a DQ or count out win, I half the points. If Hillbilly Jim beat Nick Bockwinkel via DQ, it would be 2.5 points)
For losses, I reverse it
40 or more = -1 point
30-39 = -2 points
20-29 = -3 points
0-19 = -4 points
under 0 = -5 points
(I also double the negative if the wrestler gets DQ or counted out. I think a pin/sub can happen, but taking the easy way out, like a DQ, should penalize a wrestler more)
This really balances out the rankings IMO

The 1-5 rating each guy has was done by 'feel', which is fine with me. Rahl ratings are OK, but they're not perfect. Some of it should be reputation anyway, so that give things a bit of kayfabe. I'd guess the actual ratings are probably pretty close to that. I actually suggested the same thing as far as the points go... they decided to go a different route. I don't think in the long run it's a huge difference, to be honest. Really, if you go with that sorta of system, you might as well just use ELO, which I like alot, and would be fine with as an option at some point I don't think I like the DQ thing... that would be pretty anti-heel... unless I was going for anti-heel on purpose. I think what's there now is a pretty good basic system. If sure BDS could (and probably will) go back to having some different options at some point, once everything else is ready to go. As far as the pbp sim goes, it's in the process of being re-done... I'm sure alot of that stuff will be there.

I'd love to see Non-Wrestling Segments get star ratings that factor into the overall rating of the card.

Just a reminded in the sim... ;D
Switch the default in that DQ to once instead of twice since that's the office rule
Anyway possible for handicap matches
Even if I'm not a fan, Triple Threats...those.

I'd love the ability to not use dates and just use card numbers. Even if it was tied to the year. Ex: Card 001 of 2127.
And then for rankings, if you used the Card # method, you could rank for the past 3 cards, 5 cards, etc. just like months.
I just pitch this because sometimes the number of cards I play per year fluctuates so I've stopped dating them and just use cards numbers.
