I played for the first time in high school around 1988 with a friend of mine during study hall. At the time I was more into the superstar pro wrestling game so I never really bought the game myself. A few years later when I was in the army I played in some tournaments a friend of mine held sunday afternoons (right after church) in the barracks. We didn't do a fed we used to pick out guys at random. I dont remember a whole lot from those days except that I did hold the barracks title for one week with Mr Galaxy. I started getting in to the game pretty good but for some reason never bought it for myself until 2005 ( after a long absence from playing)when I was surfing the net and came across the Filsinger site and found LOW

I was 12 or 13 when I saw an ad for the game in Pro Wrestling Illustrated. I was a huge pro wrestling mark at the time, before I became smart, and the game piqued my interest. I actually bought the second volume with Bishop Hell and Billy Jo Boxer before buying the first volume. Upon realizing this I ordered the first volume and played both volumes to start my fed.

I saw the Spike "babysitter" ad in PWI, and had my parents buy me the first 3 sets for Christmas in 1989. I basically just did Supercard after Supercard at first. I didn't have a fed with rankings, feuds, and the like until I purchased 2090 at the beginning of 1990.

I was a late bloomer. I saw this in a comic and gaming magazine a few years back and that was all it took

Last Summer, CPB mentioned it on another board, and it piqued my interest. About three-ish days later, I ordered the Starter Set and Legends Hardcore.
