Saw this link posted on Facebook: smg.photobucket.com/user/m-a-d-d-o-g/library/portfolio/WCW%20Mayhem%202?sort=3&page=1It's basically the head models for Sid, Goldberg, Kevin Nash and Jeff Jarrett. Each guy has a phrase they say and it's likely these were set to be pre-match rants like we got in Def Jam Vendetta. This was developed by AKI for the PlayStation 2 and was set for release in Summer 2001 but WCW went under and the game was turned into Def Jam Vendetta which was an arcade style wrestling game using rap stars. This is a super rare look at an unreleaased wrestling game and before now, all we'd had access to were PlayStation Magazine scans. It's cool to see these and hopefully more stuff from this game surfaces eventually.

Neat! I love the Def Jam games until they did that awful PS3 thing. Fight for NY is still the best of the Def Jam trilogy.

I loved Fight For NY. Tremendous roster (Henry Rollins, Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg?! Amazing stuff, especially back in '04), great story and fantastic gameplay. I've got a ton of nostalgia for Vendetta because it was the last 'real' AKI wrestling game and that game was pretty much my introduction to rap music.
Icon was an abomination but I don't even consider it part of the series to tell you the truth. Different developer, gameplay and it didn't even resemble the other two games. The studio that made that game sucked.
