I've always been a fan of having some sort of rankings, but we all know that the better the system, the more of a pain it tends to be to keep up, so here's a new one I'm trying out:
--Regular matches are worth 10 points + the number to total tokens accumulated in the match by BOTH wrestlers for the winner. The loser gets 1 point foreach token inflicted (4 max).
--DQs are always 5 for the winner, 0 for the loser.
--Countouts are scored as normal, unless the countout is intentional (ie, the wrestler walks out of the match). If it's the latter, the winner gets 5, the loser -5.
--If the winner of the match has multiple tokens, and the loser had none, then it's considered a 'fluke win' The winner gets 10-his tokens(6 minimum).. the losers gets the winners tokens as usual(max 4)
--If you lose a title match by getting pinned, you get -5, no matter what.. the winner gets the regular amount. If it's your second chance against in a single title reign, you get -10.
--If the match should be a squash (I'm thinking 50+ rating different over the current period, which I'm defining as the last 10 cards... could just be your opinion though), then the winner gets 5 and the loser gets 0, assuming the 'right' wrestler wins. In the case of a big upset, the winner gets 15+tokens, and the loser gets -5.
--Dark matches and house show matches (if you do that sort of thing) get 5 for the winner, 0 for the loser all the time.
So far (6 cards in) it seems like it's going to work pretty well, but time will tell.
