LWA: MEMPHIS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING (WMC-TV CH. 5)Airs Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 11:00 am Jerry Lawler: "Let me tell you, Lance, there are a lot of people out there wondering what's going on with the greatest wrestler in Memphis history. I've even heard a few of them say that The King of Memphis can't buy a win these days and I'll be the first to admit that I'm a little off my game. But this is going to happen in a two step process. First, Len Rossi, I'm going to take your title. And when that's done, Terry Funk, I'm going to teach you a lesson. You play with fire. You get burnt." Harker Dirge: "Take all the titles you want, Commissioner Cold. We'll earn more. The truth is it was only a matter of time before the House of Harker retook all the titles that were stolen from it. And don't think you'll get these belts off of me and the Dream without popping a capillary or two. And for all you toothless hicks that 'ain't ne'er hurd of dem dahr capatalaries', let me put in blunt terms for you. There... will... be... MORE blood!!!!" TV MATCH RESULTSThe Dream Machine def. Ira ReeseThe Dream Machine gets an easy win over Ira Reese with a Flying Legdrop. Koko B. Ware & Tommy Gilbert def. The NightmaresWare and Gilbert pick up a surprise win over the masked Nightmares. Robert Fuller def. Kurt Von Brauner by DQThis one turns into a full-on brawl after Karl Von Brauner jumps in the ring. Ron Fuller and Jimmy Golden jump to the aid of Robert Fuller and then Saul Weingeroff comes in with his cane. Ron Fuller goes ballistic after the Von Brauners bust open Jimmy Golden and clears the ring. Then he puts a piledriver on Saul Weingeroff - the General Manager - in center ring.

General Manager Saul Weingeroff: First off, I want to express my congratulations to Commissioner Cold for responding so quickly to this crisis. I'd like to assure the fans of Memphis that I am okay. The doctors have told me that as long as I wear this neckbrace, I should be able to make a full recovery and continue in my duties as General Manager. As for Mr. Fuller - and it was Ron, not Robert who used the outlaw Piledriver on me, Ron Fuller will not be able to set foot into a Memphis ring until LWA officials have had the opportunity to review his actions. And so, I am announcing that Tuesday night's match between the Fullers and the Von Brauners is now a handicap match with Robert Fuller against the Von Brauners. The match will be no-holds barred, meaning that the Piledriver will be a legal manuever for my team, I mean, the Von Brauners to use against Ron Fuller's younger brother. In the instance that Ron Fuller or his cousin Jimmy Golden intervenes on the behalf of the younger Fuller, Commissioner Cold is sending down two of his men to even the odds and protect the interests of the LWA at the Cook Convention Center. Ron Fuller, you have crossed the wrong General Manager. I dare you to try any shenanigans at New Year's Hangover Helper. I pray that you come down to ringside. It would save me from having to end your career via the by-laws of the LWA. And, on a closing note, you should be expecting to receive papers from my lawyers soon. I don't know what rock you Fullers crawled out from under. But when I'm through with you, you better believe I'm going to own it. Message from Commissioner Cold Robert Fuller has crossed the line attacking General Manager Saul Weingeroff and i'm sending a personally appointed representitive to Memphis to deal with him.

From the LWA office:
Since Mr. Weingeroff is a contracted 'talent', rather than an LWA employee, we can take no action for the dispute between him and the Fullers. We will, however, respect any action that Memphis Championship Wrestling see fit to take.

General Manager Saul Weingeroff: "What?! What did he say? This is an outrage. Fuller, this is not over. I don't know what strings you pulled but I'll have you beat back to the Stone Age if you so much as show your face in one of my arenas. The match on Tuesday is still two-on-one, Robert Fuller against the Von Brauners. Ron Fuller, you're still barred from the arena. And if you cross me, I'll show you what kind of pain a small army of litigators can bring down on you. Ow... ow.... my neck. Kurt, Karl, whoever you are, could you rub back there? A little bit to the right... Oh, that's good. Did we mention that I was in a neckbrace? A neckbrace! He used an illegal move... Where's my happy pills? Hans - sorry - Karl, get me that pill bottle. I don't care what the bottle says. I need three for my neck. Get my brother Morty on the phone. I'm going to sue the pants off those Fullers. From the LWA office: Since Mr. Weingeroff is a contracted 'talent', rather than an LWA employee, we can take no action for the dispute between him and the Fullers. We will, however, respect any action that Memphis Championship Wrestling see fit to take.

FROM THE DESK OF WEIRDJEROD:
We here in the PNW have recently become aware of the heinous actions of one Robert Fuller in the Memphis area. As a promoter and General Manager, who has fallen prey to vicious attacks at the hands of liscenced pro-wrestlers, I wish to extend my condolences to Mr Weingeroff. I appreciate the quick response of Comissioner Cold, and want to extend my own offer of assistance if Mr Weingeroff feels any additional backup is neccessary. We must rule these territories with a fist of Iron and not alow such assaults to go unpunished!! Saul, I wish you the speediest of recoveries...

From the Commissioner's Office:
Would you like the LWA to start suspending PNW wrestlers every time they attack each other after a match? I'd be happy to make that happen for you, but I don't think you'd like the results... best think before you speak next time.
Also, for the record, the piledriver is not an illegal move at an LWA event... they ruling applies only to Memphis Championship Wrestling.
Now, if Mr. Weingeroff were to remove himself from in-ring activities all together, and work in the front office, that would be another story.
