MEMPHIS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLINGMonday, January 7, 2008 - Racer Arena, Murray, KY MATCH RESULTS THE MOONDOGS (w/The Kennel Master) def. Norvell Austin & Robert ReedThe Moondogs made short work of Norvell Austin & Robert Reed, pinning Reed after striking him with a bone while the referee was distracted. Norvell Austin substituted for the injured Ira Reese who had his nose broken by the Interns on Saturday morning's TV taping. (3:45) *½ KOKO B. WARE & TOMMY GILBERT def. The Nightmares - Grudge Rematch Tommy Gilbert got a come-from-behind victory with a Lightning Quick Rollup for the pin. (5:30) **½ The Fabulous Fargos v. The Interns & Dr. Ken Ramey - NO CONTEST - Six Man Tag Match Referee Dave Calhoun ruled this a No Contest almost from the beginning. This match put all three Fargos in the ring with the Interns and their manager, Dr. Ken Ramey. The two teams started brawling before the bell rang and the referee was never able to establish order. Jackie Fargo and Intern #2 brawled out into the crowd while Don and Roughhouse Fargo pursued Intern #1 and Dr. Ken Ramey. Ramey wound up spraying something in Roughhouse Fargo's eyes that blinded him, leading him to smash his brother Don with a chair. Intern #1 and Ramey then proceeded to beat down Roughhouse until the referee called the match. A bloodied Jackie Fargo made it back to the ring to chase the Interns and their manager back to the locker room. Medics assisted Roughhouse Fargo out of the arena while Don and Jackie began exchanging words in center ring. (2:30) ** RON FULLER & JIMMY GOLDEN (w/Buddy Fuller) def. The Von Brauners (w/Saul Weingeroff) - No DQ Ron Fuller pulled the submission out of Karl Von Brauner with the Fuller Leglock. Buddy Fuller kept General Manager Saul Weingeroff on his toes throughout the match. Kurt Von Brauner jumped into the ring to save his partner but was met by Jimmy Golden. After the match, the two teams continued to brawl. Both Von Brauners were busted open by Buddy Fuller with a set of Brass Knuckles after they busted open Jimmy Golden on the ringbell. Ron Fuller went after Weingeroff but was unable to catch him after the Moondogs ran to his aid. The Moondogs beat on Ron Fuller, busting him open with a bone, and then Robert Fuller ran in for the save. (8:15) *** HARKER DIRGE & THE DREAM MACHINE (c) def. Phil Hickerson & David Schultz (w/Sam Bass) - Battle of the Brutes / LWA Southern Tag Title Rematch Harker Dirge and The Dream Machine retained their titles in a Battle of the Brutes against Sam Bass' New Bicentennial Kings - the former tag champions. Bass looked to be up to his old tricks early in the match until Miss Mina popped out from under the ring to choke him with her red scarf. Bass eventually broke free from the chokehold. He then went to bust Mina open with his boot but was stopped by the Master of Pain! The Master of Pain beat Bass around the ring while Mina assisted with eye rakes and kicking. Referee Tommy Young tried desperately to maintain order but it was Phil Hickerson who came out to stop the Master of Pain. This gave Harker Dirge the opening he needed to gouge David Schultz with his wooden stake and cover him for a three-count. After the match, Master of Pain busted Hickerson open on the timekeeper's table and the Dream Machine choked Bass out on the guardrail. Security restored order while the returning Miss Mina and Harker Dirge beat down Schultz in center ring. (10:00) *** LEN ROSSI (c) def. Jerry Lawler by Count-Out - LWA Southern Title Match - Hair vs. Title Len Rossi defeated Jerry Lawler by Count-Out in a LWA Southern Title Match with Lawler's hair on the line. Unsurprisingly, Jerry Lawler was not accompanied by manager Sam Bass, following the brutal attack Bass had suffered earlier in the evening. Lawler took the advantage early by disrupting Rossi's offense with complaints of hairpulling to referee Dave Ferguson. Lawler then took over by hitting Rossi with a chain and maintained the advantage from there on, taunting the audience that he would be the new champion. Rossi began to rally late in the match and Lawler ducked out of the ring. Rossi attempted to pursue but was stopped by the referee. While Lawler was out on the floor, an assailant from the crowd jumped him and began whipping him with a leather belt. The assailant then slammed Lawler's head into the guardrail knocking him unconscious. Neither Rossi nor referee Dave Ferguson realized what had happened until after the count-out was made. Once Lawler was brought back into the ring, Rossi sensed something was awry and refused to shave Lawler's head. Rossi, instead, took the Southern title and headed back to the locker room. Before referee Ferguson could put the clippers away the ringside assailant jumped into the ring and grabbed the clippers. Terry Funk then proceeded to shave a barely conscious Lawler's head to the cheers and gasps of the crowd. Referee Dave Ferguson attempted to stop Funk but Funk pushed him away. The rest of the Wild Bunch came hobbling down from the locker room. Funk went wild and started brawling with Bass, Hickerson and Schultz as Lawler slumped to the mat. Security intervened to pull Funk off of Schultz. Funk was restrained and the Wild Bunch assisted a nearly bald Lawler back to the locker room. (11:45) ***½

Good to see the House Of Harker still going strong. They might be unstoppable now that they have The Master Of Pain. Hopefully one day Lawler's luck will change

POST-MATCH INTERVIEW
SAM BASS: Harker Dirge, you may think you've got some tricks up your sleeve. But you've stood in the way of the Wild Bunch for the last time. The New Bicentennial Kings are going to beat you like a bloody monkey...
DR. KEN RAMEY: Ahem.
SAM BASS: Dr. D and Big Phil here are going to make you wish you were dead you coffin-wearin'...
DR. KEN RAMEY: AHEM!
SAM BASS: Ken Ramey, this best be damn good 'cause I'm NOT in the mood for interruptions!
LANCE RUSSELL: Well, since the gang's all here, let's hear what Dr. Ken has to say.
DR. KEN RAMEY: Pardon the intrusion. I understand it's a bit rude but I have something I think you'll be VERY interested in, Mr. Bass.
SAM BASS: Unless it's Harker Dirge or Terry Funk's head in a bowling bag, I don't think there's a whole lot you got to show me...
DR. KEN RAMEY: Oh but I do, in fact. I got it from General Manager Weingeroff. It's a very peculiar oversight on your part.
SAM BASS: What... in the hell... are you talkin' 'bout?
(Phil Hickerson and David Schultz crowd around Ramey. The Interns move in to stand nose-to-nose with the New Bicentennial Kings.)
DR. KEN RAMEY: It's Mr. Schultz' contract with the LWA or, rather, his lack of a contract. You see, Mr. Schultz was brought in as your bodyguard, Mr. Bass, after you were stabbed by that fan last summer. You neglected to clear him to wrestle in the LWA and, as such, he has no business in a Memphis ring.
SAM BASS: What?! You have GOT to be joking!
DR. KEN RAMEY: On the contrary, Mr. Bass, I'm very serious. You see your weakness was your inattention to detail. I exploited that weakness. And now my Interns are the #1 Contenders for the LWA Southern Tag Title. You lose, Mr. Bass.
(Hickerson and Schultz turn their attention on Bass.)
SAM BASS: Ramey's a crackpot. I'll get this all straightened out with Commissioner Cold. Me and him are tight. He's like a brother to me. I swear. I just forgot to fill out the paperwork. We'll get this fixed and you guys can come up with money for the fine and then we can get back to business.
PHIL HICKERSON: You know what, Sam Bass? You know what, I been with you since the beginning of this whole shenanigan. It was your fault Dennis Condrey and me lost the tag title to Steve Keirn and Len Rossi and now it's your fault that Schultz and I can't wrestle as a team to git back dem belts. You know I don't say much. But I'm goin' to say this Sam Bass. We're through. You done screwed me for the last time. Me and Schultz are gone and you can take that bald show pony of yours and go off to Massachusetts and get married for all I care. I'm gittin' as far the hell away from you as I can stand.
(Hickerson and Schultz walk off.)
LANCE RUSSELL: And then there was one. Always a drama with Sam Bass' beleagured Wild Bunch.
SAM BASS: You just shut up, Lance Russell. You best shut your mouth.
LANCE RUSSELL: Oh, you just get on out of here, Sam Bass. Seems like you got your hands full waxin' the King's scalp after that run-in with Funk.

LWA: MEMPHIS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING (WMC-TV CH. 5)Airs Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 11:00 am HARKER DIRGE: If you call it a comeback, I'm going bite your nose off your face, Lance Russell! Here you see the Return of the House of Harker. We have the Southern Tag Titles. We have the Master of Pain. We have the big Dream. And we have the dilettante of destruction, Miss Mina, once again by my side. It's only a matter of time before the House of Harker captures the Southern Heavyweight championship and holds the triple crown of Memphis wrasslin' for the second time. It's as Miss Mina predicted. First, there will be a Dream. Then there will be Pain. And then comes... THE BLOOD! Memphis, we've come to suck you dry! BUDDY FULLER: Saul Weingeroff, I'm not going into the details of a Jewish man of leisure riding shotgun with a freedom-hating group of Nazi thugs but last week you and I exchanged more than words at ringside in the Racer Arena. You seem to have it in for my boys and I'm not a man who's going to sit by quiet-like and watch my sons get ganged up on by a bunch of Krauts and bone-gnawing mongoloids. So, I'm calling you out this Monday night at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson, Mississippi. Me and you in a Brass Knuckles Match. Man-to-man. SAM BASS: First off, the King can't be with us today because of his... condition. And I want to make it clear that the fault for that condition lies with me. If I would've been at ringside, then Terry Funk would have never got his hands on Jerry Lawler and the former LWA World Champion would've still had a full head of hair. So, here I am, Lance, and I brought me out these clippers to say that "I'm sorry, Jerry. It should've been me." (Sam Bass starts shaving his head) SAM BASS: And Jerry, I'm going to ask you here -- on bended knee and with half my head shaved off -- I'm going to ask you if you'll join me in the ring next Monday against the House of Harker. It's just you and me, King. But, then, we always knew it would wind up like this. Join me this Monday, Jerry. Both our heads will be bald as a cue ball. But we'll show them what the Wild Bunch is all about. LANCE RUSSELL: Weeelll, doggie, it's always an interesting ride on Memphis Championship Wrestling! Could somebody get some help out here for Sam Bass? It looks like he's havin' a Britney moment on us. Geez, I think he's started crying or something. Can we get some help out here? MATCH RESULTSKOKO B. WARE & TOMMY GILBERT def. The Moondogs (w/The Kennel Master)Ware & Gilbert pulled out a stunning upset against the Moondogs to move into contention for the LWA Southern Tag Titles. Gilbert scored the pin after a Lightning Quick Rollup on Moondog Spot. (6:00) *** THE ORIGINAL HEAVENLY BODIES (w/Jimmy Hart) def. Bob Adams & Chris Faris (HG)Jimmy Hart's new team of Al & Don Greene (billed as the ORIGINAL Heavenly Bodies) squashed the hometown team of Bob Adams and Chris Faris. The Grandmaster came out to ringside briefly but was chased away by big Al Greene. (2:15) *½ THE DREAM MACHINE (w/Harker Dirge & Miss Mina) def. Jackie Fargo - #1 Contender Match The Dream Machine pinned Jackie Fargo in another surprising upset. Fargo had his hands full with both Harker Dirge and Miss Mina at ringside. The Dream was able to take advantage of this and wiped the mat with Fargo to become the #1 Contender for the Southern Heavyweight Title. (5:45) ** LANCE RUSSELL: Before we sign off, I just wanted to let all you fans out there know that the line-up for the Rassle Royal on Monday, January 21st, has been finalized. This Rassle Royal holds a cash prize of $10,000 to the lucky winner (100 credits). Included among the talent are: SAUL WEINGEROFF: Hold on. Hold it right there! I'm announcing that I -- as representative of the esteemed Commissioner Cold -- shut up you heathens! -- I have an announcement to make. I'm entering the Von Brauners in this year's Rassle Royal. That's right. The Von Brauners. LANCE RUSSELL: But Saul, you can't. That's... They're a TAG TEAM. What kind of shenanigans do you got goin' on around here? Besides, that leaves you with 11 men in the ring. The Rassle Royal's always been 10 or 12. SAUL WEINGEROFF: So... then... I enter myself. LANCE RUSSELL: OH COME ON, NOW! SAUL WEINGEROFF: That's right. Me and the Von Brauners are going to be in that ring for the Rassle Royal. I'm not looking to let go of that $10,000 without a fight! And Buddy Fuller. I got two words for you, my friend. YOU'RE... ON! I am a man of very low moral standards and I will have no problem beating a septuagenarian such as yourself all over the blighted state of Mississippi. Next Monday night the Fullers AND the Von Brauners will be barred from the arena. It's just you and me, Fuller. I hope your life insurance is up to date. TODAY'S SHOW BROUGHT TO YOU BY...Hairclub for MenYou're only as bald... as Terry Funk WANTS you to be!

Norvell Austin & Robert ReedAl & Don Greene are victorious with an easy win over the team of Norvell Austin & Robert Reed. (3:15) *½ TOMMY GILBERT & KOKO B. WARE v. The Nightmares - No DQ / Masks on the Line The Nightmares were unmasked after a loss to the team of Tommy Gilbert & Koko B. Ware. (8:45) **½ MASTER OF PAIN & HARKER DIRGE (w/Miss Mina) def. Sam Bass & Jerry Lawler - No DQ Harker Dirge & The Master of Pain defeated Sam Bass & Jerry Lawler after the referee called the match due to Bass' condition. The bald Lawler & Bass had some momentum early against the Master of Pain but then Dirge got a quick tag from his partner. Dirge dominated the remainder of the match, busting Bass wide open with his wooden stake. The referee, concerned about Bass' blood-loss, stopped the match and awarded the victory to the House of Harker. (6:30) ** General Manager Saul Weingeroff v. Buddy Fuller - NO CONTEST - Brass Knuckles Match Buddy Fuller dominated General Manager Saul Weingeroff, busting Weingeroff open early in the match with a set of Brass Knuckles. Weingeroff attempted to beg him off but Fuller was fired up and gave no quarter. Weingeroff then ordered Referee Tommy Morton to call the match to no avail. After a few more blasts from Fuller, Weingeroff was nearly down for the count. Then The Moondogs & their manager, The Kennel Master, came charging in. Buddy Fuller was no match for the Moondogs. After being zapped by the Kennel Master's cattleprod, the Moondogs went to work on Fuller. They busted him open with the ringbell and put Fuller on a table outside the ring after giving him a full crimson mask. Then Moondog Spot splashed Fuller, putting him through the table and onto the bare concrete. Referee Tommy Morton attempted to call security but Weingeroff waved them off. Weingeroff then went outside the ring and beat the unconscious Fuller with a cane until Len Rossi, Tommy Gilbert & Koko B. Ware came out to save the elder Fuller. Paramedics were called in and Buddy Fuller was removed from the ringside area via stretcher. Buddy Fuller was unresponsive to any attempts to revive him and was placed in a neck and back brace before being transported out of the arena. Following the match, the audience was in a near state of riot. Extra police were brought in and a number of spectators were removed from the building for disorderly conduct. (9:00) ***½ THE FABULOUS FARGOS def. The Interns & Dr. Ken Ramey - Six Man Tag Elimination Match Jackie Fargo came from behind to eliminate both Interns for the win in this tense Six-Man Elimination Tag Match. Roughhouse Fargo eliminated Dr. Ken Ramey early on, while the Interns and the other two Fargos brawled at ringside (3:00). Roughhouse was then punished by the Interns and eliminated shortly therafter. (4:30) Don Fargo was eliminated after a vicious double team by the Interns (8:30). Jackie Fargo then faced both Interns. The Interns attempted a double-team with a rag of Ether on Jackie but Jackie turned the tables and Intern #2 eliminated his partner (12:00). Jackie Fargo then squared off against the remaining Intern and put him away with an Atomic Drop (16:15). ***½ THE DREAM MACHINE (w/Harker Dirge) def. Len Rossi - LWA Southern Championship match The Dream Machine dominated Len Rossi, putting him away with a Flying Legdrop in what amounted to a squash. The House of Harker caught Len Rossi on a bad night and Rossi paid the price. WE HAVE A NEW LWA SOUTHERN CHAMPION! (5:15) ** ATTENDANCE: 9,881 (standing room only)

POST-MATCH INTERVIEWS
JACKSON POLICE CHIEF LAVELL VICK: We jus' want to let all the people out there know that Mr. Fuller is in stable condition at the Ole Miss Medical Center. We're goin' to be in touch with his family shortly to work out some arrangements to get him back up to Memphis when he's doin' a little better. It's regrettable what happened between him, that Nazi guy and those barking hillbillies but I guess these boys put it on the line ever'time they step in the ring. And that's all I really gotta say.
THE DREAM MACHINE: It don't get no better than this, Lance. Not only did I get to see my former manager, "Cueball" Sam Bass, get the crap beat out of him by my tag-team partner but tonight I beat that sissy-boy Rossi into the mat to become the LWA Southern Heavyweight Champion. (eyeing the belts) It looks good. It feels good.
HARKER DIRGE: For the second time in a row, banana-nose... for the SECOND time in a row, the House of Harker holds ALL THREE titles in Memphis Championship Wrestling. And I'm here to tell you, holding these three belts here feels almost as good as bathing in Sam Bass' blood. That's just more head for me to split open, Bass! And, Lawler, whenever you're done getting your ass whooped by Terry Funk, I'd love to take me a bite outta Memphis royalty! There... will... be... BLOOOOOOD!

House of Harker back on top again you can tell Comissioner Cold is longer in Memphis lol What can I say? The dice love him. I was hoping Rossi could stay champion through Feburary. I thought the real contender in Harker's stable was Master of Pain. Boy, was I wrong. That was a total squash. Poor Rossi. The dice were just ice cold for him. I don't even think Dream Machine went to L3D in that match. Just brutal. Now we'll have to figure out what to do about the titles because the Singles champ can't also be a Tag Champ. (This isn't TNA. ) So Dream's gotta give up ONE of those belts! ;D
