House Show: Tuesday June 17, 2008 Pebble Creek Ski Area, Inkom Idaho
Note: Just some matches to get me back into the swing of things.
Happenings: Virgil can be seen at a booth near the Nacho vendor selling autographs and t-shirts. He has a big sign that says "The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase and Virgil" and a smaller sign that says "autographs, twenty dollars". There is no sign of DiBiase and when a fan asks Virgil where the Million Dollar Man is, Virgil avoids the question.
Brutus Beefcake (1) vs. Bunkhouse Buck (1): The match spent most of the time in the corner or outside the ring where both men were eventually counted out.
Iceman King Parsons (1) vs. Doink the Clown (1): Iceman Parsons took a slight pounding but came out of nowhere with a cross body block and Butt Butt for the win.
Papa Shango (1) vs. Savage-T (1): An extremely long and drawn out match, neither man could put together a string of successful moves. Papa Shango finally caught Savage-T with a devestating move on a rope rebound and then ended the match with a Soulbreaker.
Greg Valentine (0) vs. Lenny Lane (1): Lenny started offense but lost it quickly, giving Valentine the chance to work on the leg for a few moves. He then slapped on the Figure Four Leg Lock for the win without too much effort.
Happenings: After Valentine's match, Brutus Beefcake met him in the back and welcomed him to BSW. He said he'd just got here himself and looked forward to working with Greg again. Valentine shrugged Beefcake off and kept walking.
Warlord (2) vs. Stevie Richards (2): Warlord had a lot of trouble handling Richards this match. He tried to get himself disqualified outside the ring but it didn't work, and Stevie hit him with his finisher twice during the course of the match. The match was ended on a Warlord Lariat.
Val Venis (0) vs. Sandman (0): Val had the offense for the first minute of the match and it didn't last long after that. Sandman tossed Val to the floor and while he was exiting the ring, Val threw a chair at Sandman getting himself disqualified. Val decided to have some fun and smack Sandman around with the chair some more when Blue Meanie stormed the ring and chased him off.
Crusher Blackwell (1) vs. El Gigante (1): No one has ever seen Jerry Blackwell manhandled like this. In under three moves, El Gigante had the Gigante claw applied but Crusher Blackwell managed to fight his way out of it. The match spilled to the floor and a double countout was avoided before both men returned to the ring. It was back and forth for a while until El Gigante grabbed Blackwell by the aching head again and pout him away.

First Solid House Show, but this is a cool victory in my opinion, El Gigante winning just is cool...

[/img] From the front office of Big Sky Wrestling:The BSW has been out of action for a few weeks now. Most of the staff and wrestlers came down with bad stomach pains and we tracked the cause of this minor outbreak. Apperently Doink the clown has been throwing tomatoes at wrestlers in the back. He must have gotten into a bad batch and spread this belly ache to most of the roster. No actions will be taken against Doink because the board of the BSW believe it was an honest mistake. I just want to continue by saying that last month was a serious growth period for BSW. A lot of the talent we've fought to get for the last 5 months were signed or traded for and it sent a shockwave through the company. That's partly the reason for the big Rumble Royal. We lost a bit of momentum because of the Doink Tomato fiasco but we'll try to get things back on track soon.

House Show: Tuesday June 23, 2008 Cottonwood Inn & Suites, Glasgow Montana
Announcer's Welcome: Meane Gene Okerlund and Grant "Throwing Toasters" Baccioco welcome everybody to Big Sky Wrestling. Grant mentions that his dream has finally come true. Not only is the Sandman in the BSW but he won the Savage Championship from Canadian Wildman in a Ringside event a few days ago.
Meanie's Mad: The Blue Meanie comes out to the ring and announces his disgust at Val Venis and Val's attempts to attract his girfirend, Misty Blue Simmes. He warns Val that the next occurance will be his last and then the referee checks him for his next match against Brutus Beefcake.
Brutus Beefcake (0) vs. Blue Meanie (2): Beefcake had control most of the match, keeping Blue Meanie down on the mat. Right as Meanie made an attempt a comeback, Val Venis appeared on the ramp and he held up Misty Blue Simmes leotard for Meanie to see. Beefcake hit Meanie with a knee lift for the win.
Blue Rampage: Meanie storms through the backstage area looking for Val Venis. He notices Misty Blue standing with her back turned talking to a security staff member across the hall and he runs over to her, spins her around and plants a kiss on her. To his suprise, it's not Misty Blue but April Hunter in Misty's clothing. Meanie is shocked and then attacked from behind by Doink the Clown and Papa Shango. Val Venis joins in and Meanie has the crap kicked out of him.
Savage Championship Match Sandman (0) vs. Barry Orton (1): The match starts in the ring for about a second before Barry decides to take it to the floor. His fatal mistake is showing up for the fight as the Sandman drags him past an adoring announce table and to the back stage area before DDTing him on the concrete for the win.
Deal with the Devil: Sean O'Haire can be seen in the background of the hardcore match talking to Lanny Poffo. Virgil could also be seen hawking autographs at a makeshift booth.
Tag Team #1 Contender Qualifier The Bushwackers (Luke 1 and Butch 2) vs. Living Large for the Lord (Blackwell 0 and Elmer 1): The beginning of the match was hell on Elmer as he missed a running splash into the corner and then was dropped with a Battering Ram by both Bushwackers. Elmer gained momentum back after Butch failed to capitalize on a throw to the outside. He taged out to Crusher Blackwell who immediately went for his finisher but Butch put a foot on the rope. It was back and forth for a minute and Crusher broke the pattern with a standing dropkick. Neither men will back down. Butch decides to bring Luke in to double team. It works at first but Crusher manages to comeback with two Big Splash Finishers for the win.
Greg Valentine (0) vs. Ernest Miller (1): Ernest tries to attack right after the bell rings but is caught with an elbow. Eventually Valentine throws Milelr to the floor and comes off the apron with a "Hammer" to the top of the head. Miller is counted out.
Be My Valentine: After the match, Valentine tells the audience that he's here for the gold. That's all he's interested in. He says that Big Bully Busick and Dynamite Kid better watch their backs. Big Bully Busick comes to the ring and says he takes offense to Valentine coming out and running his mouth. They get into a shoving match and then a fist fight. Busick staggers Valentine when all of a sudden, Beefcake comes out and slaps a sleeper hold on Busick, putting him out. Beefcake celebrates and holds his hand out for Valentine to shake. Valentine instead hit's Beefcake in the face with an elbow before leaving.
Sean O'Haire: Sean O'Haire comes out with El Gigante and says he needs a warm up match for his future title match with Dynamite Kid. He's brought El Gigante out for backup. He says that his opponent also has a title match and has agreed to forfeit this shot to O'Haire if he loses this match tonight. Sean also mentions that he greased the wheels a little and gave the man a bonus. This would leave O'Haire with two shots, one of which he can use at any time. He then calls out Lanny Poffo who is wearing a new outfit, a morterboard and scholar's robes.
Sean O'Haire (2) vs. Lanny Poffo (2): Lanny Poffo didn't back down. Maybe the two men were making it look good to avoid being accused of faking a match. O'Haire was on the ropes often and very nearly lost the match after Poffo hit him with a suicide sommersault. O'Haire later came back with a Savatte Kick and the Sean Bomb for the win. The fact that El Gigante didn't lift a finger to aid O'Haire made it clear that the match was fixed.
Rob Van Dam (0) vs. Monty Brown (2): RVD had trouble getting into the match and he took some punishment early on. Once he amde the comeback though, it was all RVD and Brown was eventually put away with the Five Star Frog Splash.
After Match: Monty Brown looked disgusted after the RVD match. As RVD left the ring he was blindsided by Davey Boy Smith who repeatedly rammed RVD into the guardrails. Monty Brown did nothing to help RVD and actually walked past the two men without paying much attention to what was happening.

Big Show:Friday July 4, 2008 Idaho State University, Pocatello Idaho Announcer's Welcome: Meane Gene Okerlund and Grant "Throwing Toasters" Baccioco welcome everybody to Big Sky Wrestling. They point out that wrestling superstar Eddie Guerrero is in attendance, sitting with the fans by the announce booth. Savage Title Match Sandman (0) vs.Savage-T (1): The match ends up near the concession stands where Sandman actually pays for a singapore cane at a vendor before smacking it over Savage T's head. Savage T slams into Virgil's autograph booth and Sandman goes for the pin, winning the match. Virgil Goes Bananas: Virgil is very upset that the Sandman ruined his booth and actually spilled coffee on his Ted DiBiase banner. He goes in for the kill. Savage Title Match Sandman (0) vs.Virgil (1): The two trade blows before Sandman hits Virgil with the White Russian Leg Sweep and finishes him off with the same cane he used on Savage T. Living Large: Living Large for the Lord comes to the ring with Brother Love. They are both wearing crude copies of the Malvidos Diablos masks in an effort to humiliate their opponents. Tag Team Championship Match Los DOs Malvidos Diablos (Damien 0 and Halloween 2) vs. Living Large for the Lord (Elmer 2 and Blackwell 0): The Diablos were quick with the tags and double teaming and almost had Elmer beat on a few occassions. Blackwell made the save the last time and put a stop to the Diablos offense. He traded shots with Halloween before seting the masked man up for a big avalanche splash from Elmer, giving Living Large the win. New Champions!! Qualifier for TV Title Match Warlord (2) vs. Greg Valentine (1): Valentine had trouble wearing the big man down. At one point, Valentine was near defeat but Brutus Beefcake climbed into the ring and both men found themselves the victims of a double noggin knocker by Warlord. The move knocked Valentine closer to the ropes where he put a leg up (Beefcake kinda helped in a roundabout way). Valentine managed to gain the upper hand and after that, it was just a matter of wearing Warlord down until he could sneak a pin in. Val Venis (0) vs. Blue Meanie (2): The match is back and forth but Val gets the better of it. Both Misty Blue and April Hunter argue on the outside and eventually, to the fan's delight, get into a hairpull match. Blue Meanie and Val find themselves on the floor trying to break up the action but they get into it again, not listening to the referee's count. Papa Shango and Doink the Clown rush to the ring and attack Blue Meanie as Al Snow and Stevie Richards jump the rails from the crowd and attack Val Venis. The referee has no choice but to stop the match and call in security. Davey Boy Smith (3) vs. Rob Van Dam (0): RVD takes it to Davey Boy until they both find themselves on the outside. Davey picks RVD up off the apron and gorilla presses him onto the concrete starting a long period of Smith offense. RVD gets a few shots in before hitting the Five Star Frog Splash. Davey Boy puts a foot on the rope and rolls out. RVD follows but as he leaps off the apron, Davey Boy hits him with a chair getting himself disqualified. A brawl erupts as always but security puts a stop to it. Latino Heat: After the brawl, RVD staggers away and begins to converse with the fans, slapping hands, talking to the kids. Eddie Guerrero holds out his hand but RVD misses it and this pisses Eddie off. Guerrero leaps the rail and shoves RVD yelling "you think you're too good for me". The security that broke up the end of the Davey Boy match pulls the two apart before it can go any further. Living Large: A large truck pulls up at the arena and Uncle Elmer and Crusher Blackwell get out, huffing and puffing. They are in a hurry and they meet with Brother Love in the back who congratulates them on being the new champions. Elmer and Blackwell don't know what he's talking about. They ran out of gas on the freeway and just arrived at the arena. BSW Heavyweight Title Match Dynamite Kid (0) vs. Sean O'Haire (2): Sean O'Haire brought backup for this match, El Gigante, but the big man never interfered which caused concern with the announce team. O'Haire had a little trouble with Dynamite at the beginning and a lot of trouble with him in the middle. He avoided a loss to the flying headbutt twice but eventually lost the match on the outside when he intentionally got himself disqualified. The Plot Thickens: As soon as the bell rings, Sean sicks El Gigante on Dynamite Kid. He wails on the much smaller man before tossing him back into the ring. Sean grabs a microphone and then announces that he's decided to cash in the title shot that he "won" from Lanny Poffo. BSW Heavyweight Title Match Mach 2 Dynamite Kid (4) vs. Sean O'Haire (6): El Gigante doesn't stay to himself in this match. Sean O'Haire tosses Dynamite into the corner and the referee gets inbetween the two when Sean goes for a clothesline. The referee is knocked out and Gigante enters. Both men beat on Dynamite Kid but Dynamite makes a comeback. O'Haire is seriously messed up and El Gigante staggers to the ropes to the floor. As Dynamite turns around, Sean catches him with a Sean Bomb and goes for the pin. The referee is awake and makes the count. New Champion!! Celebration: A dark celebration commences in the ring. The entire Devils Advocates stable enters and a few pound on Dynamite Kid. RVD and the Bushwackers sneak in under the radar and drag Dynamite out of harms way. the Diablos are reprimanded for losing their belts but that can't detract from O'Haire's mood at becoming the new BSW Champion. It is a dark time in Big Sky Wrestling.

House Show: Monday July 20, 2008 Best Western Burley Convention Center, Burley Idaho
Announcer's Welcome: Meane Gene Okerlund and Grant "Throwing Toasters" Baccioco welcome everybody to Big Sky Wrestling. Gene explains that BSW has been having trouble renting venues in the Montana/Idaho area. The result is a lack of BSW shows and a loss of money. Something has to be done before we start losing talent.
Ludvig Borga (0) vs. Brooklyn Brawler (0): Borga comes to the ring and complains about how filthy Americans are. He says that Americans are getting fat and sloppy and don't take care of the environment. If he had his way, he'd remove America off the globe for good. Then Brooklyn Brawler rushes the ring and lays fists into Borga. Brawler actually manhandles Borga before the big Swede leaves the ring. Brawler is then disqualified for not heading the referee's warning and slamming Borga into the post. Borga escapes and finds himself a microphone. He berates the BSW and complains about how he hates it in this federation before returning to the back.
Backstage Antics: Greg Valentine is in the back and he seems depressed. Brutus Beefcake comes up to him and asks him what's wrong. Valentine explains that last weekend was Galacticon and he couldn't go. He was really looking forward to it and had the plane ticket and everything but the cat had kittens and he couldn't leave the house. Brutus consoles Valentine who then lashes out. From out of nowhere, Valentine drops a hammer on Beefcake and leaves him on the concrete.
Savage Title Match Sandman (0) vs. Virgil: Virgil was really upset that Sandman messed up his autograph booth at the last event. He confronted Sandman in the back about it and got a sock in the mouth for his complaining. Sandman then took Virgil to the concession stand and wore him out with a bag of popcorn. Virgil made a few comebacks, but Sandman eventually put him away with a Hardcore DDT. Virgil was later heard to say "I didn't even want no title match".
BSW TV Title Match Big Bully Busick (0) vs. Papa Shango (3): Busick comes to the ring with the TV belt and asks the fans if it's worth anything anymore. There hasn't been many shows lately and he hasn't had a chance to defend it. Papa Shango comes ot the ring and tells Busick that if he doesn't want the belt, Shango would take it off his hands. This starts an impromptu TV title match.
The match is fairly short with a trip to the outside. When Busick finally got offense, he quickly climbed in momentum, smacking Shango down with a Shoulderbreaker, and Bully Blaster, attempting a pin after each move. He put Shango down after that string of moves with a butterfly suplex.
Backstage Interview: Living Large for the Lord is there with Brother Love. They don't have their new tag team belts and are asked why. Brother Love explains that there are "devilish imposters" afoot. Somebody came in and stole Elmer and Blackwell's title shots and won the belts. LLFTL wasn't even in the building when it happened. The three men demand answers from the Masked Commissioner and want their chance at the title belts.
Blue Meanie (0), Gillberg (5), and Al Snow(0) (bWo) vs. Lenny Lane (0), Lodi (0), and Lazz (0) (The Man-Friends): Blue Meanie goes first with Lenny Lane and gets slapped in the face. A few more moves and Meanie tags on defense to Gillberg who comes in like a mad man. He runs headfirst into a dropkick and Lodi is tagged in. Lodi hits with a brainbuster and goes for the tag. Menaie comes in for the pin save but is blocked. Gillberg manages to kick out. A snap ddt from Lodi also leads to a kickout and he tags in newcomer Lazz. He rolls Gillberg up after a rope bounce but Gillberg kicks out.
Fast Forward. Lodi has an exhausted Gillberg working him over in the corner. He gives Gillberg a DDT and Al Snow comes in for the pin save. A wild brawl erupts and the bWo find themselves on the bad end of it, partially due to interference of Val Venis and April Hunter who magically appear at ringside. Gillberg never makes the tag and Lenny puts him away with a Lion Tamer. The Man-Friends celebrate their first victory as a team with their manager Jack Faggart as the bWo chase Val Venis to the backstage area.
Eddie Guerrero (0) vs. Stevie Richards (0): Eddie Guerroro's debut match in the BSW. The match against Stevie Richards was quick and fierce, both men stringing together moves and blocking the other man's offense. Eddie managed to win the match out of nowhere with a flying leg scissors and feet on the ropes.
Backstage Interview: Rob Van Dam is being interviewed regarding the state of the BSW and how he thinks it needs to improve. Eddie Guererro walks in, fresh from his match and takes over the interview. He proclaims that the BSW is back on track because Eddie's here to save it. He stares down RVD and then leaves. RVD does his best not to attack Eddie as he goes by.
Devil's Advocates: Sean O'Haire and his stable enter the ring. Sean tells the crowd how great it is to be champion and how the Masked Commissioner has been dropping the ball lately, big time. He's putting title defenses on the back burner for now. His main goal is to oust the Masked Commissioner as head of the BSW booking department.
Dynamite Kid walks down the ramp with a microphone and stops. He says that O'Haire is going to defend the belt whether he likes it or not, it's not his choice. RVD joins him as does Monty Brown. They all want shots. The Masked Commissioner comes to the entrance and tries to sort things out. He'll try to have things figured out by next week. O'Haire won't be calling the shots. O'Haire tells the Commissioner that his days are numbered in this federation.
