Match #3: Ricky Steamboat def. The Mountie via DQ when The Mountie was caught using his Shock Stick: Ricky Steamboat wins another huge match in Great Lakes as he defeats The Mountie in a sub-par matchup. Match #4: Great Lakes Tag Team Title Match: Demolition def. The Fantastics to win the Great Lakes Tag Team Titles via Demolition Decapitation: -The Fantastics were just clearly out gunned in this match as Demolition made fast work of them and won the Great Lakes Tag Titles! After the match The Road Warriors came out and told Demolition congrats on winning the Great Lakes Titles but that was nothing compared to being a LWA champion. They told Demolition that when they can step it up with the big boys to give them a call! Match #5: Farmer Burns def. Great Lakes TV March 9th Gund Arena Cleveland Ohio:
Necro Butcher def. Timber The Insane Lumberjack via Cross Body Block: -Necro Butcher took it full speed to Timber and tore him apart using brutal shots left and right. Ended it with a Cross Body Block. After the match Necro Butcher denounced the FIP division saying technical wrestling was a thing of the past. This brought out Farmer Burns who told Necro he held that title for so long with great pride and next show he will show him what FIP is about. And the winner of the match will get a FIP title shot!!
Boris Zhukov def. Hillbilly Jim in his debut with his Top Rope Headbutt: -Boris Zhukov is successful in his first match against the free agent Hillbilly Jim in a hell of a match (3 tokens each) Zhukov put him away with his Top Rope Headbutt. After the match Zhukov went to the back where The Mountie and Raymond Rougeau confronted him and asked him to join forces to defeat the American Scum. Boris agreed and the Triangle of Terror has been formed! Zhukov will join Rougeau at ringside for his next match tonight.
Also backstage The Road Warriors are shown with their LWA National Tag Team Titles. They comment on Demolition and challenge them to a loser leaves town match for March 30th. Great Lakes isn't big enough for both teams so they want to get rid of one of them. Also they commented on The Kangaroos they will be facing on March 13th in Portland. They told them to get ready to see who the real champs are!
Bob Roop def. Raymond Rougeau W/Boris Zhukov via DQ after Boris hit ROop with the chair. Afterwards The Mountie came down and The Triangle of Terror turn it to Roop, busting him open and working him over. Suddenly Hillbilly Jim came running out of the back with his horseshoes and chased the Terror away. It looks like The Real Americans are back in business as Jim challenged Raymond and Boris to a tag match at the next show!!
LWA National Tag Team Champions The Road Warriors def. The Fantastics via Count out when Hawk Piledrove Bobby Fulton on the concrete floor: -The LWA National Champs make short work of The Fantastics. I don't think Demolition want to mess with The Road Warriors right now but on March 30th one of these teams will be gone!
FIP Title Match: The Mountie W/Boris Zhukov and Raymond Rougeau def. Diamond Dallas Page(c) via Piledriver to win the FIP title: -In an action packed match, we saw The Triange of Terror interfere several times until The Real Americans came down and ran them off and we had a huge match but DDP got hit with a huge Piledriver and The Mountie is the new FIP title and he says this title is for Canada and will be called the Canadian FIP title!!
Steve Corino def. Ricky Steamboat via Old School Expulsion: -Steve Corino was talking about being a top superstar and showed his worth tonight defeating Ricky Steamboat in a good technical based match. These two men are close to the tops and this match is probably not the last we will see of these two!
Great Lakes Heavyweight Title Match: Buddy Rogers def. Hercules Hernandez via Countout when he rammed Hernandez into the post and he could not make it back in: -Buddy Rogers got the win but the title was not awarded to him because of a count out victory. So the board made a fast decision and decided the match would be restarted
Great Lakes Heavyweight Title Match Part Two: In the second match Buddy Rogers was too much for Hercules as he never recovered from the turnbuckle post shot and Rogers applied the Figure Four and is the new Great Lakes Heavyweight Champion!!!!
