Good to see Original Midnite X winning!
That's an upset for Valentine, in my book!
Rock on, Steiners!

5-21-09 Denver Coliseum Denver, CO (RMM intro) (Bill Apter and Maria Kanellis sit at the ringside announce position.) Apter: Hi there and welcome to Rocky Mountain Madness. I’m Bill Apter and I’m joined by the beautiful Maria Kanellis. Maria, we are just two days away from LWA/AWA Civil War. Harley Race gets a shot at the LWA World Heavyweight Title in a Four Corners match with Ric Flair, Jerry Lawler and LWA Heavyweight Champion Bruno Sammartino. Flair and Lawler will team with Race tonight, but what will happen when they are opponents this Saturday? Maria: Harley Race will definitely have his work cut out for him but as I’ve gotten to know him, since coming to RMWA, I have learned that Mr. Race is a tough man and will give everything he’s got to get that belt around his waist. Apter: I have to agree with that, Maria. Now if that match isn’t enough for Harley Race to have on his mind, next week he’ll be in another Four Corners Match facing Masked Superstar, Bison Smith and Johnny Valentine. Masked Superstar and Bison Smith will both be in action tonight and I will speak with Johnny Valentine when he is in the Hot Seat, later tonight. Then in our main event, Dick The Bruiser & The Crusher will challenge the Rocky Mountain Tag Team Champions Rick & Scott Steiner for their titles. It looks like Gary Michael Cappetta is in the ring. Let’s go there and get to our first match. Ricky Marvin, Jimmy Wang & Alex Koslov vs. The Asylum (Ox Baker, Mondo Kleen & Kurrgan)Asylum attacked their opponents before GMC could finish the introductions. This was a classic speed against power match up. It was fairly even throughout then all six men began to brawl in the ring. The ref lost control and called for the bell, disqualifying both teams. (break) Apter: Up next we have the Master Blasters taking on the Rat Pack. I understand that the winner of this match will receive a Rocky Mountain Tag Team Title shot. Master Blasters (Blade and Steele) vs. Rat Pack (Ted DiBiase & Matt Borne)GMC made the introductions and the match began. Both teams brought everything they had into this one and unfortunately too much of it took place outside the ring and the ref counted both teams out. (break) (Back from break and Bill Apter is on the set of the Hot Seat.) Apter: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Johnny Valentine to the Hot Seat. (Johnny Valentine comes onto the set to a chorus of boos.) Welcome to the Hot Seat. Johnny: Thanks, pipsqueak. Apter: Ahem … a week from tomorrow you take part in a Four Corners match with Harley Race, Bison Smith and Masked Superstar. You don’t seem to get along with any of these men. Johnny: It seems the only person I can trust lately is my boy. Masked Superstar and I were allies at one time so I know him pretty well. Bison Smith is just a young, snot nosed punk that has a big mouth. Harley Race, on the other hand, is a true warrior. I’ve had my sights on him from day one. And I really hope he wins the LWA World Heavyweight Title. That way, when I beat him a week from tomorrow, everyone will know who the true champion is. (break) Apter: Johnny Valentine talked a lot about Harley Race. I wouldn’t be surprised if he is somewhere near a monitor to watch our next match. Harley Race, Ric Flair & Jerry Lawler vs. Angel of Death & Texas Hangmen (Psycho & Killer)AoD and the Hangmen attack their opponents before GMC can finish the introductions. Flair had Psycho in a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Killer came in and made the save. As the ref was putting Killer out of the ring, Race delivered a PILEDRIVER to Psycho. The ref turned around and counted three as Flair made the pin. (break) Apter: After his match last week, El Gigante was attacked by the Frat Pack. (Footage from RMM 5-14-09) Gigante retained his title when he pinned Crusher following a big bodyslam. After the match, Gigante was attacked by the Frat Pack. They pounded Gigante to the canvas until Bruiser and Crusher reentered the ring, swinging chairs, and cleared the Frat Pack. Now Gigante tries to gain a measure of revenge. Handicap Match Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion El Gigante vs. Backseat Boyz (Trent Acid & Johnny Kashmere)GMC made the introductions and the match begun. Gigante threw the Backseat Boyz around the ring like rag dolls. Gigante was not a happy man and he certainly showed it. Gigante had Kashmere in the GIGANTE CLAW but Acid came into the ring. Gigante launched Acid over the top rope. The action moved outside and Gigante was not going to be stopped, not even by the ref. Gigante would not listen to the ref’s warnings so the ref disqualified Gigante. (break) Bison Mastino vs. Masked SuperstarGMC made the introductions and the match got underway. This was a brutal match as both men landed heavy blows. Superstar finally had Mastino in the COBRA HOLD. Bison Smith hit the ring forcing Superstar to release the hold. Superstar chased Smith around the ringside area, allowing Mastino to recover and ambush Superstar outside the ring. Superstar fought back but it wasn’t enough and Mastino put Superstar away with a body splash. (break) Bison Smith vs. Greg ValentineGMC made the introductions and the match began. Valentine withstood a lot of punishment in the early going but, amazingly, came back to beat Smith with some Valentine chops. (break) Apter: It’s time for our main event. Let’s go up to the ring and Gary Michael Cappetta. Rocky Mountain Tag Team Title Match Dick the Bruiser & The Crusher vs. Rocky Mountain Tag Team Champions Rick & Scott SteinerThis was a quick explosive match. Most of the action happened outside the ring and when the match returned to the ring, Crusher decked Scott with the CRUSHER BOLO and got the pin to win the titles. Apter: Holy cow! We have new Rocky Mountain Tag Team Champions but we’re out of time. Don’t forget, LWA/AWA Civil War this weekend on pay per view. I’m Bill Apter and I’ll see you at the matches. (Fade to black)

A double-DQ and double count-out to start the card? Oh my!
Flair, Race, and Lawler would've been a great team if they could've gotten along all right!
Way to go, Mastino!
Valentine chops are deadly, LOL!
New Tag Champs! Cool!

5-28-09 Denver Coliseum Denver, CO (RMM intro) (Bill Apter and Maria Kanellis sit at the ringside announce position.) Apter: Hi there and welcome to Rocky Mountain Madness. We are less than 24 hours away from our next Friday Night Supershow. I am joined again by the lovely Maria Kanellis and Maria, last Saturday, Harley Race was unsuccessful in a Four Corners Match for the LWA World Heavyweight Title. Tomorrow night, he will be in another Four Corners Match. This time he will be facing Johnny Valentine, Masked Superstar and Bison Smith in an attempt to settle the rivalry that has arisen between the four of them. What do you think the outcome of that match will be? Maria: It’s difficult to say Bill. All four men are great wrestlers. I really don’t know if I can predict a winner. Apter: Tonight, all four of those men will compete in tune up matches. Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion El Gigante will also face Adam Pearce and JD Michaels in a handicap match. Tomorrow night El Gigante faces all four members of the Frat Pack in a Gauntlet Match. It looks like Gary Michael Cappetta is in the ring. It’s time for our first match. Non-title Match Rocky Mountain Television & Cruiserweight Champion Mick McManus vs. Alex KoslovGMC made the introductions and the match began. Koslov looked very good in this match. He busted McManus open and made him submit to the RED SCARE. (break) B. Brian Blair (w/“Jumpin” Jim Brunzell) vs. Chris Tolos (w/John Tolos)Both wrestlers got into a shoving match after GMC’s introductions. Blair won the shoving contest and went on the offensive. This turned into a great back and forth contest until the action spilled outside the ring. Blair got a little carried away and blasted Tolos with a wicked chair shot, drawing the disqualification from the ref. (break) Apter: El Gigante continues to have his problems with the Frat Pack. This next match is the next installment of this feud. Handicap Match El Gigante vs. Adam Pearce & JD MichaelsPearce and Michaels tried to attack Gigante after GMC made the introductions but Gigante countered and delivered a double noggin knocker. Michales tumbled out of the ring and, after a brief offensive flurry, Gigante put Pearce down with a GIGANTE CLAW. (break) Bison Smith vs. KurrganGMC made the introductions and the match got underway. Smith quickly dispatched Kurrgan with the BISONTENIAL. (break) Masked Superstar vs. Angel of DeathAoD gave Superstar all he could handle and then some. AoD got the victory with the DEATH WISH. After the match, AoD continues his assault on Superstar, planting him with continuous Angel of Death Drops. The fans were shocked when Harley Race rushed to the ring and ran off AoD. (break) Apter: What we just saw was a bit surprising. Harley Race came to the aid of one of his opponents tomorrow night, Masked Superstar. (Replay of previous match.) Then we got this footage during the break. (Bison Smith is shown handing Angel of Death a wad of cash as he left the building.) An interesting turn of events for sure, here tonight. Johnny Valentine vs. Peter MaiviaValentine stormed the ring and attacked Maivia just as GMC finished the introductions. This turned into an outstanding back and forth contest. After sufficiently weakening Maivia, Valentine made him submit to an abdominal stretch. (break) Apter: It’s time for our main event. Let’s head to the ring and Gary Michael Cappetta. Harley Race vs. Kenta KobashiGMC made the introductions and the match began. Kobashi gave Race all he could handle. The action spilled outside the ring and Kobashi threw Race into the guardrail. Kobashi continued his assault even after the ref warned him to stop. The ref disqualified Kobashi. Apter: Not quite the ending we were expecting but I’m sure tomorrow night’s ending will be a little better. Don’t forget, tomorrow night, the Friday Night Supershow. I’m Bill Apter and I’ll see you at the matches. (Fade to black)

5-29-09 US Airways Center Phoenix, AZ (Supershow intro) (Bill Apter and Promoter Madkanter sit at the ringside announce position.) Apter: Hi there and welcome to the Friday Night Supershow. I am joined tonight by a very special guest. I am pleased to welcome the promoter Madkanter to the broadcast position. Madkanter: Thanks Bill. It’s my pleasure to be here. Tonight is a big night and I wanted to witness it up close and personal. Apter: That sounds great. And you’re right, tonight is a big night. Four of our titles will be on the line tonight. Mick McManus will defend his Rocky Mountain Television and Rocky Mountain Cruiserweight Titles against Alex Koslov as a result of Koslov’s non-title victory last night. We will see two title rematches as April Hunter gets her rematch against Rocky Mountain Woman’s Champion Lelani Kai and the Steiners get their rematch against Rocky Mountain Tag Team Champions Dick the Bruiser & The Crusher. In our final title match, Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion El Gigante will defend his title against the Frat Pack in a Gauntlet Match. But that’s not all. Our main event will hopefully settle the score as Harley Race, Johnny Valentine, Bison Smith and Masked Superstar face each other in a Four Corners Match. It looks like Gary Michael Cappetta is in the ring so let’s get the action started. Rocky Mountain Television & Cruiserweight Title Match Alex Koslov vs. Rocky Mountain Television & Cruiserweight Champion Mick McManusGMC made the introductions and the match began. McManus and Koslov took everything the other had and then some. The action spilled outside the ring, where the two continued to battle. They lost track of the count and were both counted out. (break) Apter: Our next match is a result of something that took place on the Hot Seat several weeks ago. (Footage from RMM 5-14-09) Blair: First of all, thanks for having Jim and me out here. I’ll admit, it’s been tough to get ahead here. It seems once we get a foothold in the tag team rankings, new teams are brought in and are pushed right past us.
Brunzell: Now don’t get us wrong, Bill. This isn’t sour grapes. This just proves that we have to keep working harder and harder to get anywhere in the RMWA.
(Chris and John Tolos come out onto the set and clobber the Bees with a couple of chairs.)
John: Keep on talking you loud mouth no nothings. The Tolos Brothers are the next team that’s going to push past you and get a shot at those titles.Apter: The Tolos brothers never got their shot at the Rocky Mountain Tag Team Titles but the Bees now get a shot at the Tolos brothers. Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair & “Jumpin” Jim Brunzell) vs. Chris & John TolosThe Tolos brothers entered the ring and threatened GMC. They demanded a Rocky Mountain Tag Team Title shot. While the Tolos brothers threatened GMC, the Killer Bees stormed the ring and attacked the Tolos brothers. The Bees quickly busted Chris open with some devastating double team moves. The Tolos brothers made a comeback and the match went back and forth. The action ended up on the floor outside the ring several times. Brunzell was busted open. Chris sent Brunzell into the ropes but Brunzell came out and rolled up Chris in a small package. John tried to make the save but was cut off by Blair and the ref made the three count. (break) Apter: I have just been informed by the man sitting next to me that interference and ringside allies are banned from our next match. He also says there must be a winner. Rocky Mountain Woman’s Title Match April Hunter vs. Rocky Mountain Woman’s Champion Lelani KaiGMC made the introductions and the match got underway. Kai came out quickly and took the match to her challenger. Hunter’s strength proved to be too much and Hunter beat Kai with THE HEAD HUNTER to regain the title. (break) Rocky Mountain Tag Team Title Match Rick & Scott Steiner vs. Rocky Mountain Tag Team Champions Dick the Bruiser & The CrusherGMC made the introductions and the match began. The Steiners were on a mission. Bruiser and Crusher held their own but the Steiners would not be denied. Rick pinned Crusher after a STEINER BULLDOG to regain the titles. (break) Apter: We have seen two titles change hands here tonight. Will we see a third? We’re going to find out right now. Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Title Gauntlet Match Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion El Gigante vs. Frat Pack (Adam Pearce, JD Michaels, Trent Acid & Johnny Kashmere)GMC made the introductions and the match began. Acid was the first man that Gigante had to face in the gauntlet. Acid tried very hard to get Gigante off his feet but Gigante was too strong. Gigante pinned Acid after a thrust kick. Next up was Kashmere. Kashmere took the same approach as Acid and was just as successful. Gigante put Kashmere away with the GIGANTE CLAW. The next man in the gauntlet was Michaels. Michaels showed some amazing pain tolerance as Gigante immediately went for the GIGANTE CLAW. Michaels survived but could not get any offense in and succumbed to the GIGANTE CLAW when it was reapplied. Pearce was the final man in the gauntlet. Pearce had no idea what he was in for when he entered the ring. Gigante was on a roll and it didn’t stop. Gigante delivered an amazing enzuguri to finish off Pearce and complete the gauntlet. (break) Apter: We’ve had some fantastic action so far but now is the time everyone has been waiting for. It’s time for our main event. Let’s go to the ring and Gary Michael Cappetta. Four Corners Match Harley Race vs. Bison Smith vs. Masked Superstar vs. Johnny ValentineGMC made the introductions and the match got underway. Race and Smith started this match off. The ref was taken out of the match almost immediately as Smith collided with him as Smith was whipped into the buckle. The match continued with Race and Smith battling. Race threw Smith out of the ring then was attacked from behind by Superstar. Superstar locked in the COBRA HOLD on Race. A ref suddenly appeared but Race made it to the ropes for the break. Superstar delivered a head butt to a dazed Race and made the pin. Valentine entered the ring. These two men battered each other all over the ring and Superstar was busted open. Valentine finally made the pin after pummeling Superstar with a forearm bludgeon. Smith reentered the ring. Despite being a bloody mess under his mask, Superstar took it to Smith. The action ended up outside the ring. Smith clotheslined Superstar over the guardrail and into the crowd. Then Smith wickedly body slammed Superstar back over the guardrail. The action returned to the ring and Smith hit Superstar with the BISONTENIAL. The pin was academic. Apter: Bison Smith has proven that he should be considered the top man in RMWA, right behind Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion El Gigante, of course. Madkanter, tonight has been a great night. Madkanter: Bill, I wouldn’t speak so soon. The night isn’t over yet. I have an announcement to make and I need all the talent in the back to come to the ringside area. Apter: Madkanter is headed to the ring. It looks like the boys in the back have heard the boss’ call and are filtering to the ring. I have no idea what this is all about but it looks like we’re about to find out. (Madkanter has a solemn look on his face as he is about to address the crowd and his employees.) Madkanter: Ladies and gentlemen, tonight has been a great night. And I have a strong belief that that, with the talent in this arena, the RMWA could go on forever. Unfortunately, a wrestling promotion cannot survive on talent alone. Money is an essential commodity. A commodity that I just do not have enough of. Several weeks ago, RMWA lost its chief investor. I have desperately tried to find another investor to take the former investor’s place, using my own savings to compensate for the money lost when our chief investor left. Unfortunately, even though you fans have made business very good, I can no longer afford to support RMWA on my own. It is with deep sorrow that I announce that RMWA will suspend operation indefinitely until the dire financial situation can be solved. I wish to thank all the fans and talent that has made the RMWA fun for me and the wrestlers. My hope is this suspension is only temporary and we can reboot RMWA sooner rather than later. I hate to leave you on a down note but I didn’t want to overshadow the great wrestling action we saw here tonight. Thank you and good night. (Fade to black)
