[glow=red,2,300]MILE HIGH MADNESS[/glow] 12-13-07 World Arena Colorado Springs, CO
(MHM intro)
(Bill Apter and Gary Michael Cappetta sit at the ringside announce position)
Apter: Good evening and welcome to another edition of Mile High Madness. I’m Bill Apter, along with Gary Michael Cappetta, and what a wild week it’s been in CSWA and the DWA.
GMC: Yes, indeed. We start with Chanukah Hardway last Friday. Halloween wins a cruiserweight gauntlet match and a Rocky Mountain Cruiserweight Title match tonight. DWA Unified Intercontinental Champion “Dr. Death” Steve Williams joined The Destroyer’s Defense Fighters and helps them defeat a team sent by his former employer, PNW Promoter Weirdjerod.
Apter: And if that weren’t enough, the CSWA champions went 2-0 against the DWA champions when Rocky Mountain Tag Team Champions Fabulous Kangaroos beat DWA Tag Team Champions Demolition and Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion Harley Race defeated DWA World Heavyweight Champion “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers in a steel cage.
GMC: Then the next night was DWA Showcase and what a controversial event that was, to say the least. After announcing a new more aggressive attitude Harley Race was revealed as a mystery opponent for PCW Champion Lex Luger. During that match Don Leo Jonathan, a former ally of Race’s attacked him leading to a Luger victory.
Apter: Harley Race as well as all our other champions are here tonight to compete in a most interesting main event.
GMC: Yes, it will be an eight man tag match where all of the champion’s belts are on the line. If any of the champions are pinned or submit, they will lose their title.
Apter: Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion Harley Race will be joined by Rocky Mountain Television Champion Mr. Olympia and the Steiner Brothers to take on Rocky Mountain Tag Team Champions Fabulous Kangaroos, Sid Vicious & Earthquake.
GMC: Let’s not forget both Gary Hart and Abdullah Farouk will be at ringside.
Apter: It should be a great night here in the middle of December. Let’s head to the ring.
Gen 2 (Owen Hart & Dean Malenko) vs. Pierre & Damien Vachon Hart & Malenko won by disqualification when Damien rammed Malenko’s head into the ring post outside the ring.
(break)
Non-title Match DWA Unified Intercontinental Champion “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. Damien 666 The champ has great difficulty keeping up with his smaller, quicker opponent. Damien absorbed a lot of punishment, then it seemed Williams started to run out of gas as Damien just kept going. Damien was finally able to secure the upset with a martinette.
Apter: What an upset here on Mile High Madness. Dr. Death has been defeated by Damien 666.
GMC: An interesting case of Death being put down by the devil.
(break)
Apter: Welcome back. As many of our fans know, Abdullah Farouk has been leading his Collective roughshod through the CSWA. They’ve picked up and lost some titles along the way but the group still seems to be going strong.
GMC: Tonight the lead man of that group, The Sheik, faces a tough task against a member of The Destroyer’s Defense Fighters, the might Hercules.
Hercules vs. The Sheik (w/Abdullah Farouk) Most of this match was spent on the outside of the ring as both of these fierce competitors brawled all over ringside. When the action returned to the ring for the final time, The Sheik pulled a pencil out of his trunks and jabbed it in the bicep of the man who fashioned himself after the son of Zeus away from the ref’s line of sight. Then The Sheik locked on sadistic hammerlock while grinding the pencil into Herc’s arm making him submit. After the match Fritz Von Goering entered the ring and together he and The Sheik pummeled a bloody Hercules. Von Goering nailed Hercules with a flying knee to the throat before officials made it to the ring and removed the two Collective members.
Apter: Who is going to stop the Collective?
GMC: I don’t know but it better happen before they end someone’s career.
(break)
Ultimo Dragon vs. Danny Hodge This was a great back and forth cruiserweight contest. Hodge pinned Dragon with an OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL.
(break)
Apter: Something we didn’t mention before that occurred at Chanukah Hardway during a match between Timber “The Insane Lumberjack” and Fritz Von Goering.
GCM: In another example of the Collective running wild, Goering delivered continuous BACKBREAKERS to a defenseless Timber, injuring him. After that incident, the Hardcore Militia had this to say.
(Footage from Chanukah Hardway) Mondo: Look, Apter, we don’t like to do a lot of talking. We’re more about letting our actions speak for themselves but it seems that Von Goering wants to get a little hardcore. Why else would he attack Timber the way he did? Von Goering, I hope you know what you’re getting yourself into. Because when you get in the Militia’s face you go down Hardcore.
Apter: Now “Sick” Nick seeks revenge for his comrade.
“Sick” Nick Mondo vs. Fritz Von Goering (w/Abdullah Farouk) Goering totally destroyed Mondo, finishing him off with a BACKBREAKER.
Apter: Not sure that was how Mondo drew it up in the lockerroom.
GMC: And the Collective continues to show their dominance.
(break)
Rocky Mountain Cruiserweight Title Match Halloween vs. Rocky Mountain Cruiserweight Champion Tiger Mask Tiger Mask had no problems with tonight’s challenger putting Halloween away with a TIGER SUPLEX.
(break)
Apter: It’s time for tonight’s main event.
GMC: Remember all titles are on the line. If any of the champs are pinned or submit he loses his title.
All Titles on the Line Match Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion Harley Race, Rocky Mountain Television Champion Mr. Olympia, Rick & Scott Steiner vs. Rocky Mountain Tag Team Champions Fabulous Kangaroos (Roy Heffernan & Al Costello w/Gary Hart), Sid Vicious & Earthquake (w/Abdullah Farouk) Vicuous and Quake proved to be the muscle for their team as the Roos countered with speed. The Steiners showed tag team excellence while Race and Olympia made good shows as well. The end of the match came when Race had Costello on the run and Hart jumped up on the apron. Race began arguing with Race and the ref got between them. Costello delivered an Aussie Suplex to Race and Hart held Race’s feet from the outside while Costello pinned Race for the stunning upset and the Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Title. After the match Race snapped and went on a rampage. Race grabbed a chair and laid out all his opponents then in a vicious move delivered a PILEDRIVER to Hart on the chair. Hart wasn’t moving and it took all of Race’s team and several security members to get Race calmed down.
Apter: Unbelievable. Harley Race eluded to a new more aggressive attitude at Showcase but I would’ve never imagine seeing what I just saw.
GMC: And on top of that Al Costello, of all people is the Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion.
Apter: A bizarre turn of events as we run out of time. For Gary Michael Cappetta, I’m Bill Apter saying we’ll see you at the matches.

(A podium is set up between two long tables. Seated at the table on the right side of the podium are Harley Race, Bill Apter and Gary Michael Cappetta. Seated at the table one the left side of the podium are Promoter Madkanter, Jorge Garcia and The Destroyer. After organizing papers in front of him, Madkanter approaches the podium.)
Madkanter: Welcome ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming today. There are several announcements that I have to make but I’ll try to keep this moving. My first announcement is the expansion of CSWA. The CSWA will continue to promote in its home state of Colorado but we will be adding Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Wyoming and Montana. Along with this expansion comes a new name. As of January 1st, CSWA will become the Rocky Mountain Wrestling Association.
My next announcement concerns the closing of FWL. With the expansion of CSWA, FWL has closed its doors. That’s the bad news. The good news is it is relocating to a home base of Kansas City and will promote in Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska starting January 1st. At that time FWL will be rechristened Mid-America Wrestling.
Before making my next announcement I’d like to invite the gentleman sitting to my right to join me at the podium. I am pleased to introduce you to Jorge Garcia. Mr. Garcia, LWA officials and I have been in negotiations and have come to an agreement to make Mr. Garcia’s organization Lucha Libre Internation the Mexcian wrestling partner for the LWA. Mr. Garcia would you like to say a few words?
Garcia: Gracias, senor Madkanter and gracias LWA. It has been a goal of mine for a long time to partner with one of the top United States wrestling organizations. I was approached by senor Madkanter several months ago and after what seemed like endless negotiations Lucha Libre International and the LWA have come to an agreement on a working relationship. I sincerely look forward to much mutual success in the future.
(Destroyer steps up to the podium as Garcia returns to his seat.)
Destroyer: Our boss, the man that signs the checks, Madkanter was assaulted earlier this week while trying to help a friend and do commentary at Tradition No Limits. My Defense Fighters and I were there to watch Madkanter’s back and we failed to keep anything from happening to him. I hope he can forgive me. What can’t be forgiven though is the attack perpetrated on Madkanter by The Mountie. Mountie, how about you get taught a little respect by the smartest wrestler in the world. That’s right, you and me, the day before Christmas Eve at Christmas Chaos. I’ll see you there . . . happy holidays.
(Madkanter, again, approaches the podium as The Destroyer returns to his seat.)
Madkanter: Finally, some disappointing news. After the actions that took place following last night’s main event on Mile High Madness, it is with great disappointment that I announce the suspension of Harley Race. I have discussed this situation with Mr. Race and we have come to an understanding. I have invited him here today to address the media regarding his suspension. Mr. Race, please.
Race: Thank you Madkanter. First I want to say that I do not apologize for my actions. I have my reasons for what I did. I do want to apologize to my fans. I have always considered myself a champion, whether I wore a title belt or not and subsequently held myself to a champions code of conduct. What I did last night was not champion-like and I apologize to the fans that I have disappointed by my behavior.
Madkanter: Mr. Race’s suspension begins today and will conclude at midnight on December 31st.
I would like to thank you all for joining us, there are refreshments in the back. I wish everyone happy holidays and a safe happy new year.

[glow=red,2,300]MILE HIGH MADNESS[/glow] 12-17-07 Denver Coliseum Denver, CO
(MHM intro)
(Bill Apter and Gary Michael Cappetta sit at the ringside announce position.)
Apter: Good evening and welcome to a special edition of Mile High Madness. I’m Bill Apter, along with Gary Michael Cappetta, and a lot has happened in the last several days.
GMC: Al Costello is the new Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion and the former champ, Harley Race, has been suspended as a result of his actions last Thursday.
(Footage of MHM 12-13-07) The end of the match came when Race had Costello on the run and Hart jumped up on the apron. Race began arguing with Hart and the ref got between them.
Apter: Uncharacteristic behavior by Harley Race and now he must live with the consequences.
GMC: As a result, Al Costello now must defend both the Rocky Mountain Tag Team Titles and pick up all of the Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Title defenses as well.
Apter: Many times both of those belts are going to have to be defended on the same night.
GMC: Like tonight, right Bill?
Apter: That’s correct Gary. Our first match tonight is a battle royal that will determine who will challenge Al Costello for the Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Title in tonight’s main event. Let’s go to the ring.
Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Title Number One Contender Battle Royal Participants: The Destroyer, The Sheik, Rocky Mountain Television Champion Mr. Olympia, Danny Hodge, Bison Smith, Tiger Mask, Earthquake, Halloween, Haku, Ultimo Dragon, Fritz Von Goering, Timber The Insane Lumberjack, Damien 666, Hercules, Nick Mondo, Damien Vachon, Dean Malenko, Pierre Vachon, Owen Hart Highlights: Tiger Mask eliminated Ultimo Dragon. Halloween tried to eliminate Tiger Mask but Hodge made the save. The Sheik tried to eliminate Hercules but Smith made the save. The Sheik tried to eliminate Smith but Hercules snuck up from behind and tossed The Sheik over the top to the floor. Pierre Vachon tried to eliminate Hart but Malenko made the save. Malenko eliminated Pierre Vachon. Malenko tried to eliminate Damien Vachon but Mondo tried to make the save. Malenko moved as Mondo charged causing Mondo to collide with Damien Vachon sending both Mondo and Vachon over the top to the floor. Von Goering tried to eliminate Smith but Hercules snuck up and tossed Von Goering over the top to the floor. Damien 666 tried to eliminate Hercules. Smith tried to make the save but Damien delivered a back body drop as Smith charged in and sent Smith to the floor. Damien 666 again tried to eliminate Hercules but Destroyer made the save. Destroyer tried to eliminate Damien 666 but Halloween made the save. Halloween tried to eliminate Destroyer but Smith made the save. Hart tried to eliminate Tiger Mask but Hodge snuck up from behind and dumped Hart over the top to the floor. Hodge eliminated Malenko Hodge eliminated Tiger Mask. Hodge tried to eliminate Halloween but Damien 666 made the save. Hodge eliminated Damien 666. Hodge eliminated Halloween. Olympia eliminated Hodge. Olympia eliminated Timber. Olympia eliminated Haku. Quake tried to eliminate Olympia but Destroyer and Smith snuck up from behind and dumped Quake over the top to the floor. Destroyer eliminated Olympia. Destroyer and Smith were the final two in the battle royal. They met in the middle of the ring, shook hands and had a short discussion. Then Smith jumped over the top rope and eliminated himself. Winner: The Destroyer.
Apter: The Destroyer will face Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion Al Costello later tonight.
GMC: All because Bison Smith eliminated himself from the match. I wonder if that had anything to do with the first blood match he’ll be a part of later on tonight.
(break)
Rocky Mountain Tag Team Title Match Rick & Scott Steiner vs. Rocky Mountain Tag Team Champions Fabulous Kangaroos (Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion Al Costello & Roy Heffernan) Heffernan pineed Rick after a BOOMERANG.
(break)
Owen Hart vs. Pierre Vachon Hart won with a DIVING HEADBUTT. After the match, Dean Malenko came to the ring and helped Hart give Vachon a spike piledriver on the concrete floor. Suddenly, the other members of the Hardcore Militia arrived and brawl with Gen 2. Officials are finally able to break up the melee but Pierre Vachon appears to be badly injured.
(break)
Apter: I’m not entirely sure what Gen 2 was thinking but Jason Marcus plans to find out. He’s in the dressing room area with Owen Hart and Dean Malenko.
(Jason Marcus, Owen Hart and Dean Malenko are in the dressing room interview area.) Marcus: Thanks, Bill. Gentlemen would you care to explain your vicious attack on Pierre Vachon?
Hart: We don’t have to explain ourselves to anyone but Pierre and Damien Vachon think they’re pretty hot stuff being the sons of the Butcher. Well my partner and I are the best second generation wrestlers in the entire LWF. Yeah, I said it and I mean it. The New Vachons aren’t so tough when you take them on one on one.
Marcus: Maybe a little bit of jealousy or possible some one upsmanship. Back to you at ringside.
Apter: Thanks Jason. Wow, Owen Hart and Dean Malenko have been causing trouble even before they officially joined the roster.
GMC: That they have and one of these times they’re going to bite of a little more than they can chew.
Rocky Mountain Cruiserweight Title Match Danny Hodge vs. Rocky Mountain Cruiserweight Champion Tiger Mask Tiger Mask missed a flying double hammer and Hodge capitalized, pinning Tiger Mask with an OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL. As Hodge is leaving the ring following the bout, Chris Candido came out of the crowd and attacked him. Candido brawled with Hodge all the way back to the dressing room.
Apter: We have guys coming from everywhere.
GMC: Kind of makes you wonder if we’re going to be back jumped next, huh?
(break)
Apter: Our next match came as a result of an event last week on Mile High Madness.
(Footage of MHM 12-13-07) When the action returned to the ring for the final time, The Sheik pulled a pencil out of his trunks and jabbed it in the bicep of the man who fashioned himself after the son of Zeus away from the ref’s line of sight.
First Blood Match Bison Smith & Hercules Hernandez vs. The Sheik & Fritz Von Goering (w/Abdullah Farouk) Smith and Hercules had the advantage from the beginning and didn’t let up. Smith busted Von Goering open by slamming his head into the turnbuckle post from inside the ring. Smith then managed to bust Sheik open on the guard rail outside the ring.
Apter: We may’ve found a chink in the Collective’s armor.
GMC: Yes, the Defense Fighters have been able to defeat The Collective and make them bleed.
(break)
Apter: It’s time for tonight’s main event.
GMC: The Destroyer won this match earlier in the night. Maybe he’ll leave the ring tonight the new Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion.
Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Title Match The Destroyer vs. Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion Al Costello (w/Roy Heffernan) This was Costello’s first title defense and he made the most of it. Costello amazingly made The Destroyer submit to the MARBLE BOR LEGLOCK.
Apter: This has to be the second greatest upset in CSWA history.
GMC: The Destroyer was destroyed. Unbelievable.
Apter: Well, we’re out of time. For Gary Michael Cappetta and Jason Marcus, I’m Bill Apter saying we’ll see you at the matches.

Heffernan was bleeding profusely when the action moved outside the ring. The ref tried to get to Heffernan to check the bleeding but Von Goering foolishly shoved the ref away and the ref called for the bell.

[glow=red,2,300]MILE HIGH MADNESS[/glow] 12-20-07 Denver Coliseum Denver, CO
(MHM intro)
Bill Apter and Gary Michael Cappetta sit at the ringside announce position.)
Apter: Good evening and welcome to another edition of Mile High Madness. I’m Bill Apter, along with Gary Michael Cappetta. Last night we crowned a new Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion.
GMC: That’s right Bill. The Collective continues to run roughshod through CSWA and Earthquake is our new champ. Take a look.
(Still photos of last night’s Holiday Homecoming House Show are shown.)
Apter: Now there’s no rest for the weary because in tonight’s main event former champ Al Costello joins his tag team partner Roy Heffernan as they defend the Rocky Mountain Tag Team Titles against La Familia del Tijuana.
GMC: Also tonight, The Destroyer will face off against Earthquake’s stablemate The Sheik to determine the number one contender to Earthquake’s title and who gets the title shot right here next week.
Apter: Both of those matches tonight plus, Damien Vachon will try to seek revenge for his injured brother and Rocky Mountain Television Champion Mr. Olympia defends his title. Let’s go to the ring for tonight’s opening contest.
Hercules Hernandez vs. Timber “The Insane Lumberjack” Timber pinned Hercules after a LOG SPLITTER. After the match, 2 Cold Scorpio and Iceman Parsons hit the ring and attacked Timber. Scorpio and Parsons continued their beat down until “Sick” Nick Mondo and Damien Vachon made the save.
(break)
Apter: We saw it on Monday and the back jumping continues in the CSWA.
GMC: Yes it does. I’m going to have to hire a body guard if this keeps up.
Non-title Match DWA United Intercontinental Champion “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. “Sick” Nick Mondo Mondo more than held his own in this match, surprising Williams just a bit. Mondo withstood three OKLAHOMA STAMPEDES and even landed an ASSAULT DRIVER before Williams pinned him with a Backdrop Driver.
Apter: “Sick” Nick certainly proved his toughness.
GMC: There’s more to this Hardcore Militia than meets the eye.
(break)
Apter: This passed Monday on a special edition of Mile High Madness, Danny Hodge won the Rocky Mountain Cruiserweight Title. Then Chris Candido came out of the crowd and made his presence known.
(Footage from MHM 12-17-07) Tiger Mask missed a flying double hammer and Hodge capitalized, pinning Tiger Mask with an OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL. As Hodge is leaving the ring following the bout, Chris Candido came out of the crowd and attacked him. Candido brawled with Hodge all the way back to the dressing room.
GMC: Tonight Danny Hodge’s first title defense is against two foes.
Rocky Mountain Cruiserweight Title match Chris Candido (w/Tammy Sytch) vs. Tiger Mask vs. Rocky Mountain Cruiserweight Champion Danny Hodge These three battled back and forth until Chris Candido pinned Hodge following a BLOND BOMB to win the title. After the match Ultimo Dragon came to the ring and attacked Candido with a series of kicks. Then Ultimo Dragon threw Candido into the ring and put him out with a DRAGON SLEEPER. Sytch came into the ring and tried to revive her man while Ultimo Dragon motioned that he wanted Candido’s belt.
(break)
Apter: Welcome back to Mile High Madness. Jason Marcus is in the dressing room with a couple of guys who made an appearance tonight following our opening contest, Jason?
(Jason Marcus, 2 Cold Scorpio and Iceman Parsons are in the dressing room interview area.)
Marcus: Thanks, Bill. I’m here with 2 Cold Scorpio and Iceman Parsons. Gentlemen, what brings you to CSWA?
Scorpio: Well let me tell you. You’ve got these guys here that call themselves the Hardcore Militia. They think that they’re hardcore? Well, let me tell you something. This man here (points to Parsons) was hardcore before hardcore was cool. And as for me, well you know my roots in hardcore. So, we’re here to straighten this little Hardcore Militia out and show them exactly what hardcore is all about.
Parsons: Spoken like a true hardcore icon, my brutha.
Marcus: Well, there it is, Bill. A lesson in hardcore to be taught here in CSWA. Back to you at ringside.
Apter: Thanks, Jason. Seems that CSWA is the place to be lately.
GMC: Yeah, guys are seemingly coming out of the woodwork to get a piece of the wrestlers here in CSWA.
Rocky Mountain Television Title Match Bison Smith vs. Mr. Olympia Smith pinned Olympia after a lariat. Both men shook hands after the match.
Apter: A great match followed by a great show of respect. There’s nothing better than that.
GMC: Except in Olympia’s case, if he had retained the title.
(break)
Apter: Damien Vachon is seeking revenge for these acts on his brother earlier this week..
(Footage from MHM 12-17-07) Hart won with a DIVING HEADBUTT.
Damien Vachon vs. Owen Hart Vachon fought like he had something to prove. Vachon delivered the PITBULL LOCK and Malenko hit the ring. Vachon popped up and intercepted him as he entered the ring and a wild brawl erupted. Vachon sent Malenko out of the ring and nailed Hart with the PITBULL LOCK one more time and Hart was forced to submit.
(break)
Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Title Number One Contenders Match The Destroyer vs. The Sheik (w/Abdullah Farouk) Destroyer really looked to be on his game for this match and took it to The Sheik. Destroyer had The Sheik in a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK when Killer Khan came to the ring and attacked The Destroyer. The ref called for the bell, disqualifying The Sheik as Bison Smith and the Defense Fighters hit the ring to prevent any damage from being done.
(break)
Apter: Another match and another unannounced appearance.
GMC: It looks like The Collective may have a new member.
Apter: It’s time for our main event. It should be an outstanding contest.
Rocky Mountain Tag Team Title Match La Familia del Tijuana (Damien 666 & Halloween) vs. Rocky Mountain Tag Team Champions Fabulous Kangaroos (Al Costello & Roy Heffernan) Heffernan pinned Damien 666 after a BOOMERANG.
Apter: What an eventful night of action.
GMC: It was indeed. I’d like to take this opportunity to wish all our fans a very merry Christmas.
Apter: A merry Christmas indeed. We’ll be back with you next Thursday for the final edition of Mile High Madness ever. This program is receiving a name change along with the territory. Until then, for Gary Michael Cappetta, I’m Bill Apter saying we’ll see you at the matches.

[glow=red,2,300]FRIDAY NIGHT FRENZY HOUSE SHOW[/glow] 12-21-07 World Arena Colorado Springs, CO
Hercules Hernandez vs. Chuck Sawyer (local) Sawyer gave Hercules problems throughout the entire match. Hercules even decked Sawyer with a chain unbeknownst the ref and Sawyer was able to get his foot on the ropes. The match went back and forth after that but Hercules finally grabbed the upper hand and put Sawyer in the HERCULES RACK to get the submission victory.
“Sick” Nick Mondo vs. Hershal Matthews (local) Mondo beat Matthews with two moves. First the Mondo Sledge as Matthews played to the crowd, then the ASSAULT DRIVER for the win.
La Familia del Tijuana (Damien 666 & Halloween) vs. Tom & Adam Johnson (local) La Familia had no problem with the Johnsons as they beat them with the SUPER HURICANRANA/SPLASH COMBO.
Damien Vachon vs. Shea Allan (local) Vachon won by count out after he delivered a power bomb to Allen on the concrete outside the ring and Allan could not return to the ring before the ref’s 10 count.
The Destroyer vs. Killer Khan (w/Abdullah Farouk) There was no love loss here as these two battled inside and outside the ring. They got a little carried away and both men were counted out when they brawled uncontrollably outside the ring.
[glow=red,2,300](INTERMISSION)[/glow]
Non-title Match Haku vs. Rocky Mountain Television Champion Bison Smith These two were very evenly matched and this bout could’ve gone either way. But Smith was able to put Haku’s shoulders to the mat following his third BISONTENIAL.
Non-title Match DWA United Intercontinental Champion “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion Earthquake (w/Abdullah Farouk) These two behemoths brought out the heavy lumber. Williams tried a bear hug but Quake reversed it into a belly to belly suplex. Then dropped a wind up elbow and two EARTHQUAKE SPLASHES before making the pin.
Rocky Mountain Tag Team Title Gauntlet Match The Fabulous Kangaroos (Al Costello & Roy Heffernan) came to the ring looking very displeased that they had to defend their belts in this type of match. The first team to come from the dressing room was 2 Cold Scorpio & Iceman Parson. The Roos probably took a little longer than they would’ve liked dispatching of Scorpio & Parsons but Costello finally made Parsons submit to a MARBLE BOR LEGLOCK. Next up for the champs was Ultimo Dragon & Tiger Mask. Dragon and Mask came out fast trying to dazzle the Roos with a quick pace but it was still fairly early and the Roos were up to the challenge. Costello was again able to make his opponent submit to a MARBLE BOR LEGLOCK. This time it was Ultimo Dragon. Next out of the dressing room was The Sheik & Fritz Von Goering (w/Abdullah Farouk). This team posed a real threat but it didn’t materialize as the Roos put them down with a BOOMERANG. Owen Hart & Dean Malenko were the next team to come out and they took it to the champs. They took it to them so much that both teams were counted out while brawling. Rick & Scott Steiner made their way to the ring and the ref rang the bell. The Steiners were the last team in the gauntlet and were awarded the Rocky Mountain Tag Team Titles much to the crowds delight.

[glow=red,2,300]MILE HIGH MADNESS[/glow] 12-27-07 Denver Coliseum Denver, CO
(MHM intro)
(Bill Apter and Gary Michael Cappetta sit at the ringside announce position.)
Apter: Good evening and welcome to the final edition of Mile High Madness of not only the year but ever. I’m Bill Apter, along with Gary Michael Cappetta, and with the expansion of the CSWA into the RMWA after the first of this year, this show will also receive a name change.
GMC: The debut of Rocky Mountain Madness will take place Thursday, January 3rd, right here at the Denver Coliseum.
Apter: Yes, and it will be interesting to see who will be on the roster at that time and who our champions will be. Speaking of champions, three of them defend their belts tonight.
GMC: That’s right, Bill. Mr. Olympia has invoked his rematch clause and will try to regain the Rocky Mountain Television Title that he dropped to Bison Smith last week.
Apter: Chris Candido has decided to put his newly won Rocky Mountain Cruiserweight Title up against Ultimo Dragon tonight as a result of this attack that happened last week.
(Footage from MHM 12-20-07) Chris Candido pinned Hodge following a BLOND BOMB to win the title.
GMC: And in tonight’s main event Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion Earthquake defends against the number one contender – The Destroyer.
Apter: In addition to all that, tonight the Hardcore Militia battles the team of 2 Cold Scorpio, Iceman Parsons, Owen Hart & Dean Malenko. The Hardcore Militia is standing by with Jason Marcus, Jason?
(Jason Marcus is with “Sick” Nick Mondo, Damien Vachon, Pierre Vachon (with a neck brace) and Timber “The Insane Lumberjack” in the dressing room interview area.)
Marcus: Thanks Bill. “Sick” Nick, you guys have an eight man tag team match with four men that have proven to be more than thorns in your guy’s sides over the passed couple of weeks.
Mondo: Yes, we finally get the chance to get our hands on that scum and prove how dangerous the Hardcore Militia really is.
Marcus: It seems that you guys are at a disadvantage with Pierre still being sidelined with his neck injury.
Mondo: Don’t worry about that. We’ve made a couple of calls and found a replacement that knows what hardcore is all about. Hart, Malenko, Scorpio, Parsons . . . you guys better be ready because tonight you’re going to find out that when you mess with the Militia you go down Hardcore.
Marcus: It should be a fantastic match. Let’s go to the ring for tonight’s opening contest.
Hercules vs. Scott Steiner This was truly a battle but Hercules, amazingly, made Steiner submit to a HERCULES RACK.
(break)
Fritz Von Goering (w/Abdullah Farouk) vs. Haku Von Goering pinned Haku after two BACKBREAKERS.
Apter: Fritz Von Goering continues to dominant since joining the CSWA.
GMC: It’ll be interesting to see if Von Goering, as well as the rest of The Collective, is as successful in the new year.
(break)
Apter: It’s time for the Rocky Mountain Television Title rematch.
GMC: This should be an interesting match with Olympia’s winning percentage in rematches following a loss of the title.
Rocky Mountain Television Title Match Mr. Olympia vs. Rocky Mountain Television Champion Bison Smith Olympia proved to be tough in this rematch but it just wasn’t enough. Even though Olympia survived a choke slam and BISONTENIAL, Smith was able to get the win with a perfect flying cross body block.
(break)
(Back from break and Bill Apter is on the set of the Hot Seat.)
Apter: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Hot Seat Larry “The Axe” Hennig.
(Larry Hennig comes onto the set.)
Happy holidays Axe.
Hennig: Thanks, Bill. I hope you had a great holiday, I know I did, spending it with family and friends.
Apter: Speaking of family and friends, your good friend Harley Race has a big match coming up on Tuesday.
Hennig: That he does. He’s going to teach that loud mouth Ric Flair that talk doesn’t win wrestling matches. Harley Race is the better wrestler and Flair will have to admit that after their match. My son, Curt, and I will be there to make sure those d**ned Horsemen don’t interfere.
Apter: Sounds like it’s going to be great. Now, you’ve spent a lot of this year on the shelf. What are your plans in the new year.
Hennig: Well, for starters, I’m going to try to stay healthy. My injuries have been no secret but I’m feeling great and stronger than ever. I hope to make a run after one of the titles here in the Rocky Mountain region and if I’m successful with that, maybe a world title run somewhere down the line.
Apter: Sounds great. Thanks, Larry, for joining me tonight and I wish you and yours a happy and healthy new year.
(break)
Non-title Match Killer Khan (w/Abdullah Farouk) vs. DWA United Intercontinental Champion “Dr. Death” Steve Williams Williams pinned Khan after two OKLAHOMA STAMPEDES. Williams wasn't finished just because the bell rang, though. Williams delivered two more OKLAHOMA STAMPEDES to Khan before leaving this ring.
(break)
Apter: Up next the Hardcore Militia meet the men that have been causing them problems the passed several weeks.
(The opponents are in the ring as the Militia comes to the ringside area.)
Mondo: I hope you’re ready to get your ass kicked hardcore.
(Suddenly Terry Funk comes out of the crowd and hits the ring attacking the team inside the ring as the rest of the Militia enter the fray.)
Hardcore Militia (“Sick” Nick Mondo, Timber “The Insane Lumberjack”, Damien Vachon & Terry Funk) vs. 2 Cold Scorpio, Iceman Parsons, Owen Hart & Dean Malenko After the ref was able to gain control following the initial brawl, the Militia didn’t let up. Mondo was able to pin Malenko with the ASSAULT DRIVER. After the match, both teams enter the ring and brawl uncontrollably until officials pour out from the dressing room area to break it up.
(break)
Apter: Wow, things are definitely heating up around here as we move toward a new year and a new era in the Rocky Mountain area.
Rocky Mountain Cruiserweight Title Match Ultimo Dragon vs. Chris Candido (w/Tammy Sytch) Dragon pinned Candido with a DRAGON TORNADO to win the title. After the match, Tiger Mask and Danny Hodge hit the ring and joined by Ultimo Dragon attacked Candido. Hodge locked Candido in an abdominal stretch while Ultimo Dragon and Tiger Mask took turns delivering thunderous kicks and strikes to Candido’s exposed rib area. Finally, 2 Cold Scorpio, Iceman Parsons and CSWA officials entered the ring and Hodge, Tiger Mask and Ultimo Dragon headed back up the ramp to the cheers of the crowd.
Apter: What has gotten into Danny Hodge and Tiger Mask. This attack was very out of character for them.
GMC: If you’ll recall Candido attacked Hodge after Danny won the Rocky Mountain Cruiserweight Title from Tiger Mask. Maybe this was just a measure of revenge.
(break)
Apter: It’s time for tonight’s main event. I have a feeling, this one is going to be a doozy.
Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Title Match The Destroyer vs. Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion Earthquake (w/Abdullah Farouk) The Destroyer took advantage of his quickness and wore Quake down. Destroyer locked in a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK and with assistance from Farouk, Quake was able to make it to the ropes. Destroyer locked in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK a second time and Quake wasn’t as fortunate. Destroyer grinded away and Quake was forced to submit giving Destroyer the victory and the title. After the match The Sheik, Fritz Von Goering and Killer Khan (with taped ribs) ran to the ring but they were followed by “Dr. Death” Steve Williams, Hercules Hernandez and Bison Smith. Destroyer’s Defense Fighters were able to head off The Collective’s attack and entered the ring to protect their leader. The Collective decided retreat was the proper action and as they did, DDF congratulated The Destroyer and lifted him on their shoulders to the cheers of the fans.
(Fade to black.)
