PRESENTS2-20-10 – Las Vegas, NV (MGM Grand Garden Arena) (Madkanter is in the center of the ring.)
Madkanter: Ladies and gentlemen … Kill Deville.
(Crowd cheers)
Thanks to them for opening up our show. I’m the Madkanter and welcome to Sin City Wrestling and our first televised event. I am so happy to bring the best in pro wrestling to the desert Southwest especially the great city of Las Vegas. Folks, you’re in for a great show tonight. We’re going to kick things off with a battle royal. The winner of that battle royal will earn the final spot in tonight’s tournament to crown the first Sin City Wrestling Heavyweight Champion. Also, Al Snow has recruited Danny Doring and Amish Roadkill to exact some revenge against George the Animal Steele and his partner the Missing Link for Steele’s post match attack against Snow that injured his shoulder. Plus, Andre the Giant is here … and let’s not forget those very entertaining midget wrestlers. Like I said, tonight should be a very entertaining event. So I’m going to take my place at the ringside announce table and when we come back, we’ll kick things off with my favorite type of match, a battle royal.

Battle Royal
Participants:
Jimmy Valiant, Johnny Valiant, George The Animal Steele, Necro Butcher, Killer Kowalski, Danny Doring, Amish Roadkill, Missing Link, Justin Credible, Doomsday, Buff Bagwell, Butcher Vachon, Adam Pearce, and Dr. Sam ShepperdHighlights:
Alliances seemed to form immediately. The Valiants seemed to be watching each other’s back as they brawled with Vachon and Pearce. Doomsday and Shepperd were double teaming Credible. Necro Butcher and Kowalski were double teaming Bagwell. Doring and Roadkill were brawling with Steele and Missing Link.
Amish Roadkill tried to eliminate Missing Link. Steele gained the upper hand in his brawl with Doring and was able to break away, sneak up behind Roadkill and threw him over the top rope and out of the ring.
Steele and Missing Link double teamed Doring. Doring didn’t stand a chance and was dumped out of the ring by Missing Link.
Missing Link and Steele then aided Credible in his brawl with Doomsday and Shepperd.
In the midst of the brawl, Missing Link attempted to throw Doomsday out of the ring. Shepperd neutralized Credible and Steele with a double noggin knocker then attempted to help his protégé. Shepperd snuck up from behind and tried to throw Missing Link out but the momentum carried both Shepperd and Missing Link over the top, leaving Doomsday in the ring.
Doomsday returned to brawling with Credible as Steele helped Bagwell with Necro Butcher and Kowalski.
Doomsday eliminated Credible.
Doomsday turned and attacked Bagwell leaving Necro Butcher and Kowalski to double team Steele.
Bagwell gained the upper hand and eliminated Doomsday.
Bagwell rejoined the brawl with Necro Butcher and Kowalski, evening the odds.
In the midst of the brawling Bagwell dumped Kowalski over the top rope.
Bagwell turned his attention to the brawling Necro Butcher and Steele, joining the offensive against Necro Butcher.
Bagwell eliminated Necro Butcher.
Bagwell then turned on Steele and attacked him.
Bagwell eliminated Steele.
The Valiants had been brawling with Vachon and Pearce for the entire match. Bagwell joined in the brawl and attacked the Valiants, making it a three on two situation.
Bagwell tried to eliminate Jimmy but Johnny made the save.
Jimmy eliminated Vachon as Johnny brawled with Bagwell and Pearce.
Jimmy eliminated Pearce.
This left a seeming two on one with the Valiants and Bagwell. The Valiants double teamed Bagwell masterfully but Bagwell made a comeback. Bagwell fought valiantly, no pun intended, until the numbers game got the best of him and Jimmy dumped him over the top.
This left the Valiant brothers as the last two in the ring. The two men stared at each other for several seconds, inaudibly speaking to one another. Then the two brothers went at it tooth and nail.
After several minutes of brawling, Johnny gave Jimmy a SPINNING NECKBREAKER that sent him over the top rope, eliminating Jimmy.
Winner: Luscious Johnny Valiant
(Jimmy reentered the ring and congratulated his brother.)
Madkanter: The Valiants are celebrating in the ring but that’s not going to last too long. Johnny Valiant has advanced to the title tournament but he has a tough task in the first round. He’ll be facing a very unpredictable Sheik. And let’s not forget The Sheik’s manager, the devious Abdullah Farouk. That match will take place at the end of the first round. And the first round begins right after this break.
(break)
Madkanter: The first match of the opening round of this tournament will pit Diamond Dallas Page against Gorgeous George. Page will have his manager Sir Oliver Humperdink in his corner while George will have his valet Cheri Dupree in his. Page suffered a minor injury at the hands of Killer Kowalski a week ago but he assured me he is one hundred percent ready for this tournament.
Diamond Dallas Page w/Sir Oliver Humperdink vs. Gorgeous George w/Cheri DupreePage may not have been as healthy as he let on because George came out quickly and caught him off guard. It was only few moves into the match and George made Page submit to a SPINNING TOE HOLD. After the match, George was attacked by Larry Zbyszko. Zbyszko took George down with a series of karate kicks and thrusts. Despite the referee’s warnings, Zbyszko executed a vicious PILEDRIVER to George right in the center of the ring. Officials came to the ring as Zbyszko exited the ring and admired his handy work.

(Madkanter is standing in front of the ringside broadcast position.)
Madkanter: We’re back from break and the medical staff has assisted Gorgeous George to the back. If you missed it, before the break, Larry Zbyszko attacked George following his quick victory over Diamond Dallas Page.
George made Page submit to a SPINNING TOE HOLD. After the match, George was attacked by Larry Zbyszko. Zbyszko took George down with a series of karate kicks and thrusts. Despite the referee’s warnings, Zbyszko executed a vicious PILEDRIVER to George right in the center of the ring. Now I understand that Gorgeous George is pretty shaken up and may not be able to continue in the tournament. We’ll have more information on that as it becomes available but right now I’d like to bring in the man that perpetrated that attack, Larry Zbyszko.
(Zbyszko comes into view.)
Mr. Zbyszko, please explain your attack on Gorgeous George.
Zbyszko: Just so you know, I don’t have to explain myself to anyone, not even you. But it was simple strategy. I have a first round match against Gorgeous George’s tag team partner, Rick Rude in just a little while and I don’t need him sticking his nose in my business. That’s it, plain and simple. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a match to get ready for.
(Zbyszko walks toward the back.)
Madkanter: A bit of strategy on the part of Larry Zbyszko. We’ll see if it was sound strategy or not as he may’ve motivated Rick Rude to avenge this attack on his partner. Only time will tell. Now, let’s continue with the first round of the tournament.
Frank Gotch vs. DestroyerThe self proclaimed smartest man in wrestling took on arguably the most talented hold for hold wrestler in the LWA. The Destroyer looked good early as he dictated the pace and even locked on an early FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Gotch was showing the toll his busy schedule was taking but escaped the hold and kicked out after Destroyer followed up with a bombs away knee drop and pin attempt. Destroyer kept up his assault, trying to weaken Gotch with strikes and an intelligent sleeper hold. Gotch reversed the hold and made a comeback, using several submissions to wear down The Destroyer. Gotch attempted a pin following and Iowa Backdrop but was only able to get a two count. Gotch continued his offensive inside and outside the ring, systematically wearing down The Destroyer. Destroyer countered and went on the offensive. Both men continued to battle back and forth, waiting for the other to make a crucial mistake. That mistake may’ve come when Gotch missed a turnbuckle charge and tumbled out of the ring. Unfortunately for The Destroyer, as he leaned through the ropes to try to pursue Gotch, Gotch punched him square in the nose. Destroyer stumbled backward and Gotch reentered the ring. Gotch went after the stunned Destroyer. Gotch continued with his submission style attack until Destroyer reversed the advantage. The match continued back and forth until the match ended up outside the ring again. The Destroyer rammed Gotch’s head into the guard rail and busted him open. The ref warned The Destroyer but let the match continue. Destroyer returned the match to the ring and went to the top turnbuckle. Gotch managed to recover and knock Destroyer to the canvas. The match continued with both exchanging the advantage then Destroyer locked Gotch in a single leg Boston crab. After much struggle, Gotch finally made it to the ropes to break the hold. Destroyer sensed it was his chance and locked in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. A battered and bloody Gotch kept fighting and never gave up. Instead he passed out as a result of the pain and blood loss.
Madkanter: That was the best match I have seen in a long time. I hope all the fans watching this agree. That is a prime example of the great wrestling action I hope to bring to the fans of Sin City Wrestling on a continuous basis. The tournament continues after this.

Madkanter: Earlier tonight, Larry Zbyszko perpetrated a post match attack on Gorgeous George which Zbyszko claims was a strategic move to prevent George from interfering in our next match. A match the features Zbyszko taking on Gorgeous George’s tag team partner, Rick Rude.
Ravishing Rick Rude w/Cheri Dupree vs. Larry ZbyszkoZbyszko didn’t waste any time and went after Rude early. Zbyszko attempted to pin Rude after a quick PILEDRIVER but Rude kicked out. A second PILEDRIVER resulted in anther kick out. Zbyszko kept the action going and locked Rude in an abdominal stretch. Rude escaped the hold. A frustrated Zbyszko tossed Rude out of the ring. This allowed Rude a little bit of a breather but while the ref’s attention was on Rude, Zbyszko removed a turnbuckle pad. Upon Rude’s return to the ring, Zbyszko set Rude headfirst into the exposed steel, busting him open. Zbyszko saw the blood and went for the kill. Zbyszko nailed Rude with a stomach turning knee smash and went for the pin. Dupree interjected herself in the match and raked Zbyszko’s eyes, breaking up the pin. The ref ordered Dupree to the dressing room for the remainder of the match. Rude used this opportunity and tried to mount an offensive but to little avail. Zbyszko regained the advantage and planted Rude with a PILEDRIVER. A confident Zbyszko took his time getting into position for a pin. Gorgeous George ran out of the back wearing a neck brace around his neck. Zbyszko saw him and went out of the ring to meet him. As Zbyszko brawled with George, Zbyszko was nearly counted out of the ring. Instead, Rude recovered and ambushed him outside the ring. Rude rolled Zbyszko back in the ring and delivered a RUDE AWAKENING. Rude made the cover but Zbyszko kicked out at two and half. The action again moved outside the ring where Rude nailed Zbyszko with a chair. The ref was distracted by George who was now in Rude’s corner and the ref didn’t see it. The action finally returned to the ring and Zbyszko regained the advantage. Zbyszko was finally able to put Rude’s shoulders down for three after a knee smash.
Madkanter: Another fantastic match. I don’t think Larry Zbyszko’s strategy worked out exactly how he wanted but he still managed to get the victory. We’ll be right back.
(break)
Madkanter: Our next match is the final match of the first round. The Sheik will be facing the winner of the battle royal earlier tonight, Luscious Johnny Valiant.
The Sheik w/Abdullah Farouk vs. Luscious Johnny Valiant w/Handsome Jimmy ValiantValiant came out quick but once the action spilled outside the ring, The Sheik gained the advantage. The Sheik returned the action to the ring and went to the top turnbuckle. Valiant recovered and knocked The Sheik to the canvas. Valiant nailed The Sheik with a flying elbow drop. Valiant went for the pin following a SPINNING NECKBREAKER. The Sheik kicked out. Valiant continued his assault, even connecting with two more SPINNING NECKBREAKERS, but Valiant could not put The Sheik down for three. Valiant went to the well on too many times and missed with a flying body press. The Sheik locked in a CAMEL CLUTCH but Valiant made it to the ropes. The match continued back and forth until the action spilled outside the ring. The Sheik and Valiant got into a wild brawl. The ref disqualified both wrestlers. Handsome Jimmy tried to come to his brother’s aid but was ambushed by Necro Butcher. All four men brawled all the way to the back.
(break)
Madkanter: Wow, what a match that last one was. I understand that officials are still trying to break up that brawl in the back. Now we’re going to take a break from tournament action. Ladies and gentlemen, sit back and be ready to be entertained. The midgets are in the house.
Little Beaver vs. Sky Low LowLow Low went for a quick victory with a running spear but only got a two count. Low Low kept up the offensive but Beaver was biding his time. Low Low attempted to climb the turnbuckle and Beaver pulled him to the mat. Beaver climbed the ropes and nailed Low Low with a flying shoulder block. The match continued back and forth. Low Low nailed Beaver with a splash from the apron while outside the ring. Beaver was barely able to beat the ref’s count in returning to the ring. Once Beaver returned to the ring, he was met by a running splash. Low Low got a two count. The action returned to the outside where Beaver caught Low Low with a NECKBREAKER. Beaver rolled Low Low back into the ring and got a two count. Beaver attempted to climb the turnbuckles but Low Low knocked him down and Beaver fell all the way outside the ring. Beaver rolled back into the ring and as he got to his feet, Low Low nailed him with a DROPKICK. Beaver kicked out at two and a half. Low Low was clearly frustrated but continued his assault. After wearing Beaver down some more and a second DROPKICK, Low Low pinned Beaver.
Madkanter: I always enjoy watching the midgets and tonight was no different. They put on a fantastic show. When we come back, our tournament continues.
(break)
Madkanter: Welcome back. This will be the only semifinal match of the tournament as Larry Zbyszko receives a bye because of the double disqualification in The Sheik/Johnny Valiant match. Gorgeous George nearly cost Zbyszko advancement in the tournament as revenge for an attack by Zbyszko earlier tonight. We were concerned that George would not be able to continue in this tournament but the Gorgeous one is going to prove his toughness as he comes into this next match with an injury. The Destroyer fought an amazing back and forth match with Frank Gotch in the first round. It was match that either man could’ve won but the self proclaimed smartest man came out on top. Now a banged up George faces a winded but healthy Destroyer.
Gorgeous George w/Cheri Dupree vs. The Destroyer This match barely got started when a wild brawl erupted outside the ring. The Destroyer ripped George’s neckbrace off as the two continued to brawl. The ref called for the bell and disqualified both men.
Madkanter: Oh man. This isn’t good. It seems Gorgeous George and The Destroyer have eliminated each other from the tournament. That leaves Larry Zbyszko without an opponent in the Sin City Wrestling Heavyweight Title Match. Ah, ah, ah, c’mon now people. You know me better than not to have a plan in case this was to happen. So there will be a SCW Heavyweight Title Match tonight and Larry Zbyszko will have a mystery opponent. By the way, did I mention it will be a ladder match? More action when we come back.
(break)
(Back from break and Larry Zbyszko is at the ringside announce position arguing with Madkanter.)
Zbyszko: What the hell is wrong with you? You should be handing me the Sin City Title on a silver platter. I won all my matches. It’s not my fault that the nut jobs you employ can’t control themselves.
Madkanter: Look, Larry, my decision is final. The main event tonight will be a ladder match for the title with you facing a mystery opponent. Or you can forfeit the match and I will award the title to your mystery opponent. Those are your choices. Take it or leave it.
Zbyszko: I see what’s going on here. You’re trying to stack the deck against me. You’re jealous of the Living Legend. That’s ok. I’ll show you. I’ll win that match and when I have the Sin City Title, I’ll have the pull in this territory and there won’t be anything you can do about it.
(Zbyszko stormed to the back.)
Madkanter: I apologize for the delay folks but business had to be taken care of. As you can see, Mr. Zbyszko is real happy with the decision I made about the main event but tough titty said the kitty. Now, Al Snow is leading his buddies, Danny Doring and Amish Roadkill to the ring to take on Sir Oliver Humperdink’s duo of the Missing Link and the man that injured Snow’s arm, George The Animal Steele.
Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill w/Al Snow vs. House of Humperdink (Missing Link & George The Animal Steele w/Sir Oliver Humperdink)Link and Steele had the advantage from the beginning. Then Steele got a little over zealous and Doring dropped him on the top rope with a stun gun. Doring launched Steele out of the ring then nailed him with a baseball slide dropkick. Doring and Steele got into a huge brawl outside the ring. They ignored the count and continued to brawl. Both men were counted out. Amish Roadkill and Missing Link brawled as well. In the midst of the brawl, Snow took his arm out of his sling and with a devilish smile, clocked Steele, Link and Humperdink with a steel chair.
Madkanter: It looks like Al Snow isn’t as hurt as he has let on. He has laid out all three members of the House of Humperdink. Officials are filing passed Snow, Danny Doring and Amish Roadkill to provide assistance to the downed men. Snow, Doring and Roadkill continue to admire their work as we go to break.
(break)
Madkanter: Wow, we’ve had a lot go down tonight. And we still have two matches left. Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for a real treat. Earlier tonight we saw the midgets. Now we will go in the opposite direction. Andre the Giant is here and he is going to compete in a gauntlet match. Three men will take their shot at putting the Giants shoulders to the mat for the three count. Let’s go to the ring.
Gauntlet Match
Andre the Giant vs. Killer Kowalski w/Abdullah Farouk, Necro Butcher w/Abdullah Farouk and Handsome Jimmy ValiantValiant was first up and tried to put Andre out early with the VALIANT SLEEPER. Andre broke the hold but Valiant thought he had Andre on the ropes and scaled the turnbuckles. Valiant went for a flying body press but Andre caught him and slammed him to the mat. Valiant got his foot on the bottom rope to break the count. Andre continued to abuse Valiant. Valiant tried to turn the tables on Andre but nothing worked. Valiant did a good job of not giving into the massive girth of Andre and really wore out the Giant. Unfortunately for Valiant he just didn’t have enough and the ref declared Valiant unable to continue after a sit down splash from Andre. Valiant wasn’t moving and had to be helped from the ring by Luscious Johnny Valiant and medical staff.
(break)
The match continued as Abdullah Farouk led Necro Butcher to the ring. Andre threw Necro around the ring like a rag doll. Andre went for an early pin after a sit down splash but Necro kicked out. A little irritated, Andre pinned Necro with a BIG SPLASH. Farouk signaled to the back and the final participant in the match came to the ring. It was Killer Kowalski. Andre quickly tossed Kowalski from the ring. As Andre went after him, Kowalski punched Andre through the ropes. Kowalski entered the ring and locked in the KOWALSKI CLAW. What the ref didn’t see was that Kowalski had his thumb in Andre’s eye. Andre was visibly in blinding pain as he grabbed the ref and tossed him to the mat. The ref called for the disqualification. As Andre was trying to recover, The Sheik and Necro Butcher came to the ring. They joined Kowalski in an attempted three on one assault of Andre until Diamond Dallas Page ran to the ring with a chair. Farouk’s men scattered as Page arrived on scene. Page helped Andre to his feet and the crowd popped as Page held Andre’s hand high.
(break)
Madkanter: Diamond Dallas Page really saved Andre the Giant’s bacon, not that Andre couldn’t take care of his own business but it’s always nice to get help from your friends. Now it’s the time everyone has been waiting for. It’s time for our main event.
(Larry Zbyszko is in the ring with a mic.)
Zbyszko: Ok, I’m out here. Now what sort of ham and egger jabronie have you got for me to wipe the mat with?
(Suddenly the music hits and Steve Corino comes to the ring. Zbyszko does not look pleased.)
SCW Heavyweight Title Triple Threat Ladder Match
Larry Zbyszko vs. Steve CorinoZbyszko and Corino started out slow, feeling each other out then … boom a huge collision between the two in the middle of the ring. The ref was caught in the middle and went down hard. The ref was unconscious. Both men tore into each other, battling back and forth inside and outside the ring. At one point, Zbyszko had the upper hand and Gorgeous George and Rick Rude came down to ringside. Before anything could happen several referees came to ringside and escorted George and Rude to the back. A new ref got in the ring and the match continued. Corino managed to regain the advantage and went for a pin with a power slam. Zbyszko kicked out. Corino hit Zbyszko with the OLD SCHOOL EXPULSION. Zbyszko again kicked out. Corino continued his assault. Corino landed a second OLD SCHOOL EXPULSION. Suddenly, The Destroyer ran to the ring, loaded his mask and delivered wicked head butt to Corino. Zbyszko was down and Corino was dazed but Corino was able to recover and mount another offensive. Corino hit one more OLD SCHOOL EXPULSION and made the pin.
Madkanter: Steve Corino battled off an attack by The Destroyer and defeated Larry Zbyszko to become the first Sin City Wrestling Heavyweight Champion. It’s been an unbelievable night and I’ve been very happy to bring it to you. I look forward to bringing you more great action in the very near future. Until that time comes, good night.
