The ref tried to intervene but Bruiser shoved him aside for a second time and the ref disqualified Bruiser.Madkanter: As you can see, a lot a people that think they have something to prove as we forge ahead. Speaking of forging ahead, as I mentioned at the top of the show, New Beginnings is Saturday, June 19, on live television from The Plaza Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas. Several matches have been announced including Dr. Sam Shepperd defending the King of Sin City Title against Arik Cannon in a Vegas Cage Match. Ravishing Rick Rude and Gorgeous George will put everything on the line as they end their feud in a falls count anywhere, loser leaves SCW match. I am happy to announce that both the LWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Gordy and LWA World Tag Tea Tag Team Champions the Legion of Doom will be on hand that night. The SCW Tag Team Champions, Jesse The Body Ventura & Diamond Dallas Page will defend their titles against the Insane Clown Posse. Finally our main event for that very special card will be a War Games style match pitting three, three man teams against each other. It will pit the Dark Carnival team of SCW Heavyweight Champion Larry Zbyszko, The Great Muta and Vampiro against the team of Dick The Bruiser, The Crusher and Junkyard Dog and the team of Big Van Vader, Bison Smith and Steve Corino. There is another stipulation to this match that will be announced at the beginning of the New Beginnings show as part of my huge announcement regarding the future of SCW. There you have it. Things are shaping up nicely. Coming up this Saturday, we’ll be in the other Las Vegas. Las Vegas, New Mexico, just one week before New Beginnings. It should be a great show. When we come back, a word from the SCW Heavyweight Champion. Stay tuned. (break) (Prerecorded promo by SCW Heavyweight Champion Larry Zbyskzo) Zbyszko: Again, more evidence that SCW doesn’t want me as their champion and stacking the deck against me. This match is ludicrous. And what’s with this added stipulation to be announced? At least they’re allowing members of the Dark Carnival to be in the match take care of me a little. I will win this match regardless of what the other stipulation is. I guarantee it. Madkanter: Even faced with adversity, the champ is confident. Speaking of confidence we have a new faction in SCW. They call themselves the One Drop Power Movement. Please welcome D’Lo Brown, Rocky Johnson and Norvell Austin. (Brown, Johnson and Austin come onto the set dressed in black jeans with silver tank tops. The crowd gives them a mixed reaction, more boos than cheers. The three men take a seat on the couch.) Welcome, gentlemen. Please tell me about your little group. Brown: I told you I’d be bringing friends in. Now maybe I’ll get an opportunity in this territory. The One Drop Power Movement is for guys that want to get a shot, by any means necessary. Madkanter: So you’re looking for title shots? Johnson (looking at his partners): Did he just ask if we wanted title shots? Are you serious? Man, we not only want title shots, we’re going to get title shots, by any means necessary. Austin: Our motto is we strive for excellence by any means necessary. If that means going through your beloved standard bearers then so be it. Madkanter: I see. Well it’s been nice having you guys … Brown (interrupting): Hey, we’ll tell you when this interview is over. Madkanter: Yeah but we have to go commercial. Brown: I don’t care if the building is burning down, we’re done when I say we’re done. (pause) Madkanter: Well? Brown: C’mon boys, let’s blow this joint. (The One Drop Power Movement gets up as the program goes to break) (break) (Prerecorded promo by Dick The Bruiser) Bruiser (puffing on a cigar): Ahhh … Da Bruiser can get himself a shot at the SCW title, eh. Consider it done. I also get a chance to beat up that loser Zbyszko. This will be fun. Hahahaha. Madkanter: A jovial Dick the Bruiser. How about that last interview. Sounds like more gang style tactics in SCW. Speaking of gang style tactics, our next guests are big, bad, well at least two of them, and don’t travel alone. Please welcome Big Van Vader, Bison Smith and Steve Corino. (Big Van Vader, Bison Smith and Steve Corino come out to a chorus of boos. They’re all dressed in a tie and jacket. Vader looked very uncomfortable. All three men take a seat on the couch.) So the match has been announced for New Beginnings. Which one of you has the best chance to win the match and get that title shot? Corino: I think any of us has a shot but I’ve said from the beginning that I was here to lead Vader to that title. Smith: I just want to beat the crap outta people. I’m not real interested in titles right now so if either one of these guys wants that title shot, more power to them. Madkanter: Vader, I guess you’re the man. Vader: You’re damn right I’m the man. I fear no man and feel no pain. That title is as good as mine. Madkanter: I’m sure Larry Zbyszko and the Dark Carinval will have something to say about that. Smith: We don’t sweat that bunch of circus freaks. It’ll be fun to beat those dudes up. Madkanter: Good luck to you at New Beginnings. We’ll be right back. (break) Madkanter: Thanks to the One Drop Power Movement, Big Van Vader, Bison Smith and Steve Corino for joining me tonight. Don't forget, we'll be in Las Vegas, New Mexico, this Saturday. We hope to see you there. Good night. (Fade to black)

As a mater of fact, I taken down every one you’ve thrown at me, even hospitalized some. Not sure what makes you think you have a chance of beating me at New Beginnings. This one’s in the bag. Madkanter: Ravishing Rick Rude sure is confident. Hopefully, he’s not too confident. Now I’d like to bring out a couple of guys that reunited last Saturday and can’t be happier. Please welcome Dick the Bruiser and The Crusher. (Dick the Bruiser and The Crusher come out dressed in tank tops and blue jeans. Both men are puffing on cigars and the crowd gives them a nice pop as they sit down on the couch.) Gentlemen, it is so great to have you both here together, hence the celebratory cigar. I think I’ll have one as well. (Madkanter lights up a cigar of his own.) Now that you guys are together in Sin City, you’ve got one heck of a match coming up this Saturday. Bruiser: Ya got that right. Da Crush and are gonna rough some people up this Saturday. Zbyszko … you got a beatin’ comin’ yer way. Madkanter: Crusher, welcome to Sin City. Crusher: Thanks Mad K. It’s great to be here. I’m the man that made Milwaukee famous and now Dickie and I are gonna be the men that make Las Vegas famous. I’ve been bustin’ people up since I was 13 years old in my father’s sloon. If there’s a fight to had, you better be damn sure Da Crusher’s gonna be there. Madkanter: Now Bruiser, this match is right up you and The Crusher’s alley. It’s in a cage and you’ve made a ton of people submit to that stomach claw of yours. But what’s going to happen to your opponents if they’re in there with you and The Crusher to double team them. Bruiser: They’re gonna get hurt. That’s what’s gonna happen. Crusher: We’re tougher than any of the pansies in that match. Plus, we got that mean mutt, JYD with us. We’re gonna be tough to beat. Madkanter: That you are. Thank you for joining me gentlemen. After the break, we’ll hear from your partner for this Saturday, Junkyard Dog. Stay tuned. (break) (Prerecorded promo by Junkyard Dog) This Saturday … you got the Dog teaming up with two of the toughest men in pro rasslin’ … Dick the Bruiser and The Crusher. It won’t be for the weak of heart. No way. Cause anyone that The Bruiser don’t bruise and The Crusher don’t crush … you better believe that the Dog is gonna take a bite out of. You can count on that. Madkanter: Sounds like JYD is as geared up as his partners for New Beginnings, this Saturday. Speaking of getting geared up, please welcome my next guest. He’s the Sin City Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, Larry Zbyszko. (Larry Zbysako makes his way out dressed in a suit and tie with the belt strapped around his waist. The crowd boos mercilessly. Zbyszko has words for some of the fans before finally taking a seat on the couch.) Welcome champ. How’s it going? Zbyszko: Don’t patronize me you meat head. You know damn well I don’t like this match. From day one all you’ve done is put me in situations that you think I can’t get out of. Well, I’ve got some information for you Mr. Promoter. I am the Living Legend. I am The Ringmaster. I am Larry Zbyszko and I am the SCW Heavyweight Champion. Madkanter: You are indeed all of those things but you forgot one thing. You are in a War Game match at New Beginnings. Zbyszko: Yeah, yeah … and don’t think that I’ve forgotten about this other little stipulation you’re going to announce. If you were any kind of man you’d announce it now instead of waiting until Saturday. Madkanter: You want me to announce it now? Does the audience want me to announce it now? (Crowd pops.) Fine. I have no problem announcing it now. This Saturday, in the main event at New Beginnings, the Dark Carnival team of SCW Heavyweight Champion, The Great Muta and the debuting Vampiro will take on the team of Dick the Bruiser, The Crusher and Junkyard Dog and the team of Big Van Vader, Bison Smith and Steve Corino in a War Games match. Zbyszko: Yeah, we know all of this. It’s old news. Get on with the new stipulation. Madkanter: I was about to say … before I was rudely interrupted … if either of your opponent teams, Larry Zbyszko, get the victory, the man getting the victory for his team will receive a title shot. If the Dark Carnival team wins, you Mr. Zbyszko, will get to hand pick your opponent for your next title defense. Zbyszko: You know … that’s not too bad. I sort of like that. Let me make sure I understand this. The Dark Carnival just has to make sure they’re victorious in this War Games match and I get to choose my opponent for my next title defense? Madkanter: You got it correct. It’s going to be easier said than done. Zbyszko: You just let me worry about that. Now if you’ll excuse me. I have to go figure out who my opponent is going to be when the Dark Carnival wins this match. (Zbyszko gets up and leaves the set.) Madkanter: I guess that’s the end of that interview. We’ll be right back. (break) Madkanter: I’d like to thank Dick the Bruiser, The Crusher and SCW Heavyweight Champion Larry Zbyszko for joining me tonight. Don’t forget, New Beginnings, this Saturday. Check your local listings. Good night. (Fade to black)

PRESENTS6-19-10 – Las Vegas, NV (Plaza Hotel & Casino) (Madkanter is in the center of the ring.) Good evening and welcome to our television special, New Beginnings, a show that gets its name because I am going to kick things off tonight by making a big announcement regarding the future of Sin City Wrestling. The next Sin City Wrestling Showcase telecast will be the last. That is because Sin City Wrestling has signed an agreement to have a new weekly, hour long wrestling show broadcast on Fox Sports Arizona. The show will be called Sin City Showdown and the show will take place every week right here at The Plaza Hotel and Casino. The show will debut on Saturday, July 3, so you’ll want to check your local listings for that. Our main event that night will be a SCW Heavyweight Title Match. Larry Zbyszko will defend his title against either the man that gets the win for his team in tonight’s War Games main event or an opponent of Zbyszko’s choosing, if the Dark Carnival team wins War Games. Tonight, in addition to our War Games main event, we find out if Gorgeous George will regain the services of Cherrie Dupree and stay in SCW or if Ravishing Rick Rude will make him pack his belongings and high tail it out of Sin City. Also, Sin City Tag Team Champions More Bang for The Body defends their titles against Insane Clown Posse and King of Sin City Dr. Sam Shepperd defends against Arik Cannon in a Vegas Cage Match. Plus, the LWA World Heavyweight Champion, Terry Gordy, and LWA World Tag Team Champions Legion of Doom will be in action. It’s going to be a great night. We’re going to take a break and set up this cage. When we come back, our first title defense. Stay tuned. (break) (Madkanter is at the ringside announce position.) Madkanter: Welcome back. Several weeks ago, Arik Cannon claimed to be deserving of a title match. He has done nothing but convince me that is the case. Tonight he gets a shot at the King of Sin City. If King of Sin City Dr. Sam Shepperd wants to keep his title, he better be on his game tonight. Let’s go to the ring. King of Sin City Title Vegas Cage Match Arik Cannon vs. King of Las Vegas Dr. Sam ShepperdCannon and Shepperd had a feeling out period as the match began but it was Cannon that took the action out of the ring and against the cage first. Cannon rammed Shepperd’s head into the ringside steps. Cannon tried to throw Shepperd into the cage but he reversed it and sent Cannon into the cage. Cannon shook it off and returned the favor, bouncing Shepperd’s head of the steel. The action returned to the ring where Cannon gained a near fall after a Saito suplex. Cannon continued his assault but Shepperd countered. Cannon regained the advantage and got another near fall after an elevated snap neckbreaker. Cannon took the action out of the ring again and tried to use the cage but Shepperd reversed it and bounced Cannon’s head off the cage. Cannon recovered and charged Shepperd but Shepperd delivered a drop toe hold sending Cannon face first into the cage. Shepperd rolled Cannon back into the cage and whipped him into the turnbuckle. Shepperd charged but Cannon moved and Shepperd hit the turnbuckle hard. Cannon rolled Shepperd up and got a two count. The action spilled out of the ring again and Cannon rammed Shepperd’s head into the cage, busting Shepperd open. (break) The action returned to the ring and Shepperd made a come back. Both men brawled back and forth until the action spilled out of the ring. Art Barr snuck out from under the ring and attacked Cannon. Shepperd joined in the assault and together they posted Cannon against the ring post. The ref declared the match a no contest. Shepperd and Barr left the cage and were pelted with trash as they returned to the lockerroom. Cannon had to be helped from the cage by medical personnel. (break) Madkanter: Holy cow. If that’s any indication what tonight is going to be like, I hope LVPD SWAT is on stand by. We follow up one title match with a second. SCW Tag Team Title Match Insane Clown Posse (Shaggy 2 Dope & Violent J) w/Sir Oliver Humperdink vs. Jesse The Body Ventura & Diamond Dallas PageThe Body and DDP dominated early. ICP came back but it was short lived and the champs regained the advantage. Ventura locked Violent J in a bear hug. 2 Dope came in to break the hold but was met with a noggin knocker from Ventura. 2 Dope fell out of the ring and Ventura made the pin. (break) Non-title Match LOD (Hawk & Animal) w/Paul Ellering vs. Public Enemy (Rocco Rock & Johnny Grunge)PE surprised Hawk with an early DRIVE BY but Hawk escaped the pin at two. Rock got a second near fall after a cymbal clash. LOD made a comeback and both teams brawled until the ref was caught in the middle and went down. Both teams brawled inside and outside the ring. The ref recovered and Animal got a near fall after a POWERSLAM on Grunge. LOD delivered a spike piledriver but Grunge got his foot on the rope during the subsequent pin. That set up the DOOMSDAY DEVICE but Rock broke up the pin. As the ref is escorting Rock from the ring, LOD delivered another DOOMSDAY DEVICE. Animal made the pin. (break) Madkanter: It’s time for our falls count anywhere match. Both men have guaranteed victory but only one of them will be correct. Falls County Anywhere – Loser Leaves SCW Match Gorgeous George vs. Ravishing Rick RudeGeorge was in the ring as Rude made his entrance. Rude led Cherie Dupree to ringside and made her sit in a chair next to the time keeper. This match didn’t go well for George. Rude completely dominated him and finished him quick fashion with a RUDE AWAKENING. After the match, Rude bad mouthed George to Dupree. George finally regained his feet and was a broken man. The fans started to chant “Nah, Nah, Hey, Hey, Goodbye”. George left the ring and began to make his way to the back when Rude grabbed the mic. Rude: Hey … loser. I really don’t have any need for this wench over here so why don’t you take her with you. (Rude grabbed Dupree by the wrist and basically yanked her in the direction of George. The two embraced and quickly made it up the ramp and to the locker room.) Madkanter: What an odd end to what has to be a very odd feud. Rather fitting, I guess. Next up, the LWA World Heavyweight Champion will be in action against a very special opponent. (break) Non-title Match LWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Gordy vs. Harley RaceRace came out strong and got a near fall after a back suplex. The action spilled out of the ring, where Race bounced Gordy’s head off a ringside table. Race rolled Gordy back into the ring and executed a PILEDRIVER. Gordy barely kicked out. Race continued his assault but Gordy came back. The two battled back and forth until Race dropped Gordy throat first on the top rope. Race quickly followed up and pinned Gordy after a back suplex. After the match, Gordy complained to the ref that his foot was under the rope and he shouldn’t have made the count. Madkanter: I’m looking at the replay and I think Terry Gordy may actually have a beef. Based on what I’m seeing, Gordy’s foot is clearly under the bottom rope. The ref’s decision is final but I’m sure LWA Commissioner Wildfire will be looking at this situation. After this break is our main event. (break) Madkanter: It’s time for our War Games match. The rules are fairly straight forward. Each team will have a representative start the match. At ninety second intervals, a random drawing will take place and the wrestler whose name is drawn will then enter the match. This could make for some very interesting scenarios. Once all members of the teams are in the ring, then the match can be won. The first wrestler to make one of their opponents submit will win the match for his team. Everyone is aware of what is at stake for the winner. The cage has been put back up. Let’s go to the ring and get this match under way. War Games SCW Heavyweight Champions Larry Zbyszko, The Great Muta & Vampiro w/Sir Oliver Humperdink vs. Dick The Bruiser, The Crusher & JYD vs. Big Van Vader, Bison Smith & Steve CorinoThe debuting Vampiro, Dick the Bruiser and Steve Corino begin the match for their respective teams. The bell rings and all three men brawl. Bruiser pounded on Corino before tossing him out of the ring and turning his attention to Vampiro. Bruiser dominated Vampiro but made a mistake when he attempted to climb the turnbuckles. Corino knocked Bruiser off the turnbuckles. The buzzer sounded and the next man to enter the cage was Bison Smith. Bison quickly entered the match and delivered a BISONETENIAL to Vampiro. Bison turned his attention to Bruiser and attempted a BISONTENNIAL from the second rope but lost his balance and fell to the mat. Meanwhile, Vampiro recovered and planted Corino with a SUPER NAIL IN THE COFFIN. The match continued as all the wrestlers brawled amongst themselves. The buzzer sounded and Vader emerged from the locker room area. Vader made his way to the ring as the other wrestlers brawled. (break) Vader entered the cage and attacked Bruiser. Bruiser made a comeback and brawled with Vader as Corino and Bison double teamed Vampiro. The buzzer sounded and Junkyard Dog made his way to the cage. JYD went after Vader. JYD brawled with Vader, Corino brawled with Vampiro and Bison brawled with Bruiser. Vader took JYD out of the ring and rammed his head into the cage multiple times. It seemed to have no affect on JYD and he bounced Vader’s head off the cage. JYD attempted a piledriver on the floor but Vader countered with a back body drop. Vader returned to the ring and planted JYD with a VADER POWER BOMB. The buzzer sounded and Zbyszko reluctantly made his way to the ring. Zbyszko finally entered the ring and was immediately attacked by Vader. Zbyszko countered the attack and went on the offensive against Vader and then Corino. Vader and Bison double teamed JYD while Bruiser brawled with Vampiro. (break) The buzzer sounded and The Great Muta made his way to the ring. Muta entered the ring and helped Zbyszko double team Corino. They took Corino out of the ring and ram his head against the cage, busting him open. Corino recovered and thumbed Zbyszko in the eye before grating Muta’s face against the cage. Corino choked Muta with an electrical cable at ringside. Muta came back and grated Corino’s face against the cage. Vader and Bison double teamed Bruiser and Vampiro brawled with JYD. The buzzer sounded and Crusher hustled to the ring. Crusher evened the odd on Vader and Bison and went after Bison. Crusher locked Bison in a full nelson. The ref was there to see if Bison would submit. Suddenly, from under the ring, the rest of the Dark Carnival emerged. Shaggy 2 Dope, Violent J, Missing Link and Kamala all came out with chairs and started laying waste to everyone not affiliated with the Dark Carnival. In short order, everyone was out or nearly out. Zbyszko picked up the limp body of Dick the Bruiser and locked in the Larryland Sleeper. It was academic. The ref raised and Dick the Bruiser’s arm fell three times and the ref called for the bell. Madkanter: This is despicable. I can’t believe … wait, yes I can believe Larry Zbyszko would stoop to this level. (Dark Carnival is celebrating in the ring as Zbyszko points at Madkanter saying, “I told you I’d win.”) Yeah, you told me. That’s all the time we have tonight. I know we’ll be discussing this on the final edition of Sin City Wrestling Showcase and probably on the debut of Sin City Showdown as SCW Heavyweight Champion Larry Zbyszko will defend his title against an opponent of his choice. I am the Madkanter. Good night. (Fade to black)

Coming up on tonight’s program, we’ll be joined by Ravishing Rick Rude to talk about his victory at New Beginnings and what he does now that Gorgeous George is gone. Also, a new face to SCW, Gary Michael Cappetta, will be here. GMC will be doing some backstage interview, as well as some ring announcing on Sin City Showdown. I’ll talk to him about that. When we come back we’ll hear from Sin City Heavyweight Champion Larry Zbyszko. Stay tuned. (break) (Prerecorded promo by Larry Zbyszko) Zbyszko: I told you that I would win War Games. Now I get to choose my opponent for my title defense on Sin City Showdown. Now I know everyone is dying to know what jabronie I’m going to give a chance of a lifetime to. I’m not sure you deserve to know just yet. Ah what the heck. He has no chance to beat me any way. My opponent will be that freaky blue guy. What’s his name? Oh yeah. Blue Meanie. Hahahaha. Madkanter: Wow, Larry Zbyszko vs. the Blue Meanie will be the main event on the debut episode of Sin City Showdow. Woo hoo, what to make it a special night champ. Oh well, it was to be expected. Now I’d like to bring out my first guest. This man proved to be a dominant force in his feud with Gorgeous George and now that he has sent George packing, what’s next for Ravishing Rick Rude? Let’s ask him. Please welcome Ravishing Rick Rude. (Rude comes out dressed in a three piece suit. The fans shower him with boos, although there are one or two cheers. Rude takes a seat on the couch.) Mr. Rude, welcome back and congratulations on your victory at New Beginnings. Rude: Was there ever any doubt? I destroyed anyone that loser put in front of me. Then when he tried me out for himself, he was completely dominated. Madkanter: It was a pretty one sided match. So what now? Rude: I’m glad you asked. I’m going to set my sights on the Sin City Wrestling Heavyweight Title. I’ve surrounded myself with a couple of guys that know what wearing gold is all about. I’ve been working with Jesse The Body Ventura and Diamond Dallas Page for some time and they’ve told me they’d have my back. Madkanter: Wow, the Sin City Wrestling Tag Team Champions. That’s quite a brood you’ve got there. Mr. Rude, I wish you luck. When we return, we’ll hear from Harley Race. Stay tuned. (break) (Prerecorded promo by Harley Race) Race: The time has come for a real world champion to make his home in Sin City. I have been to the top of the mountain on several occasions but there is no title more important in the sport of professional wrestling today than the LWA World Heavyweight Championship. I proved that I could beat Terry Gordy at New Beginnings. I don’t care if his foot was under the ropes. The result was a notch in the win column for the greatest wrestling on God’s green earth. I hear Gordy is complaining about how I refereed the world title match at Honor and Glory. It sounds like more excuses and attempts to duck a rematch with me. Gordy, it’s time to put up or shut up. I challenge you to a match, best two out of three falls, no disqualifications, no count outs, no excuses. I’ll be waiting to hear from you, although I’m sure it will just be more excuses. Madkanter: A big challenge from the one and only Harley Race. He’s a new face in Sin City and so is my next guest. Please welcome GMC … Gary Michael Cappetta. (GMC comes out dressed in a suit and is greeted by a nice pop from the crowd. GMC takes a seat on the couch.) Welcome to the show and Sin City Wrestling. GMC: Thank you. It’s great to be here. I really appreciate the opportunity. Madkanter: It’s my pleasure. I’m a big fan. I’m happy to bring into the fold. Let’s talk about the new show, Sin City Showdown. You will be doing some locker room interviews as well as ring announcing. GMC: I have spent more than 20 years in the middle of a pro wrestling ring as a ring announcer. That’s what most fans know me for. What they don’t know is that I also enjoy doing interviews. I have no problem asking the tough questions and that’s what the fans are going to get when I’m in the locker room with the great wrestlers of Sin City. Madkanter: I would expect nothing less. I’m sure you will be a great addition to the Sin City Wrestling family. Welcome aboard. We’ll be right back. (break) Madkanter: I would like to thank Ravishing Rick Rude and Gary Michael Cappetta for joining me tonight. I also want to thank all the fans. Sin City Wrestling would not exist if it weren’t for you. Your support has made Sin City Wrestling Showcase a success. It’s what’s going to make Sin City Showdown a success. I look forward to your continued support. Good night. (Fade to black)

New Beginnings really went well! Zbyszko has to be the biggest heel in the LWA right now!
Not sure if it's permanent but I love the stable of JYD, Crusher, and Bruiser.. very cool.

Roadkill tried to eliminate Kamala but Link snuck up from behind and dumped Roadkill over the top rope, eliminating Doring and Roadkill. Johnson tried to eliminate Link but Kamala snuck up and tossed Johnson over the top rope, eliminating the One Drop Power Movement. The last two teams remaining were ICP and Missing Link & Kamala. These teams will meet each other in a match during the televised portion of the card. (Madkanter and Jesse The Body Ventura sit at the ringside announce table.) Madkanter: Good evening and welcome to this gala event. I am the Madkanter and this is the debut of Sin City Showdown. I am joined by one half of the Sin City Wrestling Tag Team Champions, Jesse The Body Ventura. Jess, this is going to be a fantastic night in the history of Sin City Wrestling. Ventura: It is indeed. No expense has been spared. Madkanter: You got that right. I have several announcements to make tonight. First announcement, the hand picked challenger for Larry Zbyszko’s Sin City Heavyweight Title is yet to arrive at the Plaza Hotel, tonight. No one sure of Blue Meanie’s whereabouts but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we get any information. Second announcement, we are introducing a new title in Sin City Wrestling. With the addition of Showdown, we will now have a Showdown TV Title to be defended every week on this program. We have an eight man, double elimination tournament set up but tonight, four men will vie for the last two spots in the first round of the tournament. The men who do not advance to the first round will end up in the consolation bracket. I’m getting word that the third member of this broadcast, Gary Michael Cappetta, has managed to track down Sin City Wrestling Heavyweight Champion Larry Zbyszko to get his reaction to the Blue Meanie situation, GMC? (Gary Michael Cappetta is in the locker room with Larry Zbyszko and the rest of the Dark Carnival.) GMC: Larry, The Blue Meanie is yet to arrive in the building. Do you know anything about that? Zbyszko: What the hell kind of question is that? I can’t believe you would ask that. I have no idea where that blue freak is. I’m actually thinking about sending out the Dark Carnival to find him and bring him here for our match. GMC: Vegas is a pretty big city. I’m not sure they’d be able to find him in time. What do you think will happen if Meanie doesn’t show up in time for your match tonight? Zbyszko: I think I should win by forfeit and retain my title. Of course, knowing who runs this territory that probably won’t happen. I don’t know what that piece of crap promoter will do if he can’t put on his main event. GMC: I guess only time will tell. Back to you guys at ringside. Madkanter: Thanks GMC. Jesse, what are your thoughts on where Blue Meanie may be. Ventura: Your guess is as good as mine. Zbyszko had one thing right. Blue Meanie is a freak. Madkanter: I will say that Meanie is a little unique but Mr. Zbyszko, rest assured, there will be a Sin City Wrestling Heavyweight Title defense tonight, one way or another. Now, let’s go to the ring for our first match of the night. It’s also a Showdown TV Title qualifying match. Showdown TV Title Tournament Qualifying Match Les Thatcher vs. Mike RotundoThatcher brought Rotundo down with a flying headscissors to start the match then locked a STUMP PULLER on in the middle of the ring. Rotundo was in a compromised position and Thatcher had the move locked in tight. Rotundo fought it for as long as he could but finally ha to submit. Madkanter: Holy cow. Les Thatcher didn’t mess around. Ventura: It was definitely an impressive victory. Madkanter: Les Thatcher has qualified for the Showdown TV Title tournament. When we come back, our second qualifying match. (break) Madkanter: Welcome back. GMC is standing by with one of the wrestlers in our next match. (GMC is in the locker room with Art Barr, who is in full Juicer makeup.) GMC: Thanks, Madkanter. Juicer it looks like you’re ready to make the most of your opportunity to win a title in Sin City Wrestling. Barr: You bet I am. My opponent tonight paints his face similar to the way I do but he doesn’t fight the same way. He’s a little stronger but I’m a little quicker. I plan on using my quickness to beat that overgrown vampire. I better get to the ring and show Vampiro what I’ve got. GMC: Good luck, Art. Back to you at ringside. Madkanter: Thanks, GMC. Time to sit back and enjoy what should be a great match. Showdown TV Title Tournament Qualifying Match Juicer Art Barr vs. Vampiro w/Sir Oliver HumperdinkBarr used his speed advantage early but Vampiro slowed him down. Barr recovered and got a near fall after a back elbow smash. After several more back elbow smashes and a failed sleeper, Barr got another near fall with a VERTICAL BODY SPLASH. Barr continued to pour on the offense and after a series of dropkicks, Barr beat Vampiro with a spinning leg lariat. Madkanter: The tournament brackets have been set. Check out our first round match ups as we go to break. (Graphic showing the first round matches.) Dick the Bruiser vs. Big Van Vader
Les Thatcher vs. Ravishing Rick Rude
Al Snow vs. Art Barr
Junkyard Dog vs. D’Lo Brown(break) Madkanter: Before we went on the air tonight we had a tag team battle royal. The last two teams in that battle royal will meet in our next match. First, let’s take a look at some highlights from that battle royal. (Footage from tonight’s dark match) The winner of this match will get a shot at the Sin City Wrestling Tag Team Titles on next week’s Sin City Showdown. Insane Clown Posse (Shaggy 2 Dope & Violent J) w/Sir Oliver Humperdink vs. Missing Link & Kamala w/Sir Oliver HumperdinkAll five men met in the middle of the ring. Humperdink discussed strategy with them and then sent Kamala and Violent J to their corners. Humperdink exited the ring and the ref started the match. 2 Dope and Link went nose to nose in the ring. Then came the finger poke of doom by 2 Dope. A confused ref made the count and declared ICP the winners. Madkanter: C’mon! What the heck was that? Ventura: That was ridiculous. If I knew that was going to happen, DDP and I would’ve faced them right here tonight. Madkanter: Regardless, next week Insane Clown Posse gets another shot at the SCW Tag Team Titles. We’ll be right back. (break) Madkanter: The Blue Meanie is still MIA. Not to worry, I have found a suitable replacement. Let’s go to the ring and Gary Michael Cappetta. GMC: Ladies and gentlemen, the next match is our main event and is for the Sin City Wrestling Heavyweight Championship. Introducing first, standing to my left and accompanied by his manager, Sir Oliver Humperdink, weighing in at 233 pounds and hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the Sin City Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, Larry Zbyszko. (Zbyszko looks displeased with the turn of events and grabs the mic from GMC.) Zbyszko: Madkanter, what are you trying to pull. You know as well as I do that I should win this match by forfeit. Madkanter: Look, Zbyszko, I promised this crowd and the fans watching at home a Sin City Wrestling Heavyweight Title match and I plan to deliver. No give the mic back to GMC so he can introduce your opponent. (Zbyszko disgustedly gives the mic back to GMC.) GMC: And coming down the aisle, the challenger. Weighing in at 245 pounds and hailing from Kansas City, Missouri, Harley Race. (Race comes to the ring to huge pop from the crowd.) SCW Heavyweight Title Match Harley Race vs. SCW Heavyweight Champion Larry Zbyszko w/Sir Oliver HumperdinkRace made an early mistake, telegraphing a turnbuckle charge, and Zbyszko got a near fall after the roll up. Zbyszko got another near fall after a backbreaker. Race recovered and charged Zbsyzko, the ref inadvertently got in the way and went down. Zbsyzko took advantage and went after Race but got cocky and mistimed a dive from the top turnbuckle. Race capitalized. The ref recovered as Race was dominating the match. Zbyszko recovered and he and Race brawled back and forth. Race surprised Zbyszko off the ropes with a small package. Zbyszko barely kicked out. Race delivered a PILEDRIVER and went for the pin. Humperdink distracted the ref. After taking the action out of the ring, Race delivered a vertical suplex and made the cover. Humperdink put Zbyszko’s foot on the bottom rope. Race took the match out of the ring again, where both men brawled and were counted out. As the brawling continued, Madkanter tried to break up both men as they came near the announce table. Madkanter got some separation and was grabbed by Zbyszko. Zbyszko slapped Madkanter and threw him to the ground. Zbyszko told Madkanter that he was sick and tired of being mistreated and that Madkanter had this coming. Zbyszko stomped Madkanter then spat on him before officials grabbed Zbyszko and pulled him away. (Fade to black)
