This fed has been a bit of a saga... I came up with this really cool plan, and played up through 2084 or so, then lost all the stuff... so back to the drawing board it was.
Galactic Heavyweight Champions
Omega Jun. 2074 -
Galactic Tag Team Champions
Paladin Power Jun. 2074 - Oct. 2074 Solar Flare/KO Keller Oct. 2074 -

Dateline: April 2074
Lead by renown underground wrestlers Omega and Morpheus a small group obtained approval from the Sol Committee on Competitive Sports to hold wrestling events at Independence Civic Auditorium (known locally as the Crab for it's unique shape) over the next two years.
Christened the Galactic Wrestling Federation, the new owners planned to hold tournaments to crown Galactic champions, to a bit of snickering from the locals... what was 'Galactic' about a rag tag band of underground fighters on Deimos, after all.
The grandiose marketing offered by Morpheus, while panned as arrogant and overblown by most of the sports world, did it's job, the GWF's first card was very nearly a sell out, some looking for a train wreck, some looking to heckle, and some who remembered the great Terran federations of the past, and hoped for some great wrestling.
Card 1 From 'The Crab', Deimos April 2074
Santon** def. Caelum**** (Spike Piledriver) Very good match.. deathjumps were the undoing of both men at different times during the match. After being silent early on, the crowd really got into it by the end, and gave the masked man known only as Santon a good ovation.
Omega def. Moonstrike** (deathjump)
Blacklash**** def. Jammer (DQ) Jammer had the match won when Bullwhip interfered and made the save. Blood hit the ring to even the odds and caused the DQ when the referee saw him hit Blacklash. The two teams brawled briefly before Omega and Morpheus came down and separated them.
The brawl was by far the biggest crowd reaction of the night, with Defiance being cheered wildly against the rule breakers. Morpheus seemed to take careful stock of the crowd reaction as he returned to the locker room after breaking things up
Solar Flare def. Torpor*** (Titan Drop)
Blood def. Cordsar** (Scar Tissue)
Morpheus* def. Commander Sam*** (Trip to Hades) The big man of the GWF clearly took this win for granted, and almost paid for it when Sam planted him with an atomic drop. The crowd started cheering for the upset, which seemed to focus Morpheus and turn the tide. Much better than expected match.
Cross Currents def. Mensans* (Thetis deathjump on Trotarus)
Ricken Prince def. KO Keller (DQ) After a deft counter of Bow to the Prince, Keller signalled to the crowd, who convinced him to deliver a low blow of his own. The referee caught him, but the crowd reveled in the alien-looking Ricken Prince getting a taste of his own medicine
Screw def. Bullwhip*** (Freakish Face Slam) Screw was scary in this one.. total massacre of a match as the fans were nearly silent... they didn't know what to make of the strange former slave. Not a great note to end the show on, as it was eeriely silent as the crowd departed.

Card 2 Late April, 2074
attendance was down quite a bit from the premiere card, but Morpheus seemed pleased.. they held on to more than just 'hardcore' fans..still though, they'd need to sell out a few times to extend past their 2 year commitment. Omega was certain good sold wrestling was want was needed...while Morpheus isn't so sure.
Commander Sam def. Torpor** (Star Spangled Banner)
Paladin Power def. Cross Currents** (Paladin Missile) – Good match with lots of tags in and out. Cross Currents never really had much offense going.
Jammer def. Bullwhip (DQ) --The match never really got started... the action went outside quickly, and Bullwhip just as quickly took a cowbell to Jammer's knee. Blood and Blacklash raced out and Omega and Morpheus once again had to break it up.
Keller def. Caelum*** (Ten Count x3) Both men really wanted the victory to make up for their early tournament exit, but Caelum was content to let the match develop and find his oppertunity, Keller just wailed on him. Caelum refused to stay down until he was knocked unconscious, and had to leave the ring in a stretcher. (Caelum inj 5 cards)
GWF Title Tournament Quarter Finals
Blacklash def. Screw** (DQ) – Blacklash was able to handle to monstrous Screw early, but that seemed only to anger him. He snapped and started pounding Blacklash repeatedly into the steel pole, the shoved the referee when he tried to intervene. The bell seemed to snap him out of it, and Blacklash slinked off, not looking like it but claiming the victory.
Ricken Prince def. Solar Flare (Royal Decree)
Morpheus def. Blood (Trip to Hades)
Omega** def. Santon** (roll up) Very good match. Santon was impressive here, and got two very long two counts before Omega surprised him with a lighting fast rollup.

Dorado Sundown is quickly establishing themselves as the biggest draw in the fed, and Morpheus is happy to play it up. He promised the crowd blood, and the came out it droves... Omega was concerned, however, that the men most out of line with his vision of fair competition were the feds fastest rising stars.
In a clear nod to that competition, Omega convinced Morpheus that champions should not be crowned yet... he wanted to make sure the wrestlers were properly rested before competing, as the GWF switched gears and held the 1st round of the Tag Team Championship.
This also marked the 1st new addition to the GWF roster. After his brutual beating at the hands of KO Keller, Torim Caleum was ordered by the GWF medical staff to take some time off. As a result, the Prince looked to his home planet and recruited the man known as the Spider King.
Card 3 May 2074
Screw def. Torpor** (Freakish Face Slam)
Tag Team Title Tournament, 1st Round Commander Sam/KO Keller def. Mensans**** (Star Spangled Banner) – the tag team specialists got badly out wrestled here. Cordsar was very angry after the match.
Upper Crust* def. Cross Currents (Bow to the Prince) The Spider King made a nice debut, and the new team looked really good. The Prince saluted his new partner as the crowd booed.
Paladin Power def. Guardians (DQ) – Very quick bell by the referee. Solar Flare was exchanging blows with Morpheus outside the ring, when the referee go between them to get them back inside. Morpheus picked him up and moved him aside like a wayward child, and the referee didn't take kindly to the treatment.
Dorado Sundown*** def. Defiance*** (Rustler's Stampede) Hard hitting, brutal match. Just when it looked like Bullwhip was finished, he made a big comeback and turned the tables. The crowd gave both teams a big ovation at the end of the match, much to Sundown's surprise.

I try to play some EC when time permits. I need to posta few of my results as well.
I almost hate playing GWF without playing EC since Morpheus was such an influential character in GWF lore, but never saw him in action

It's funny, I was thinking about that the other day... how I remember when the first classics set came out, and Morpheus was 'introduced' Hard to imagine that there was a time in the GWF where he didn't really exist.

Card 4 Late May 2074
Morpheus' plan to market the upcoming title matches backfired... the card was the lowest attended show in the short history of the of federation. Only time would tell if the gamble paid off.
Santon def. Blood* (Spike Piledriver)
Cross Currents def. Mensans* (DQ) Cordsar was furious at the referee for calling for the bell when he came in for the save after a Turnbuckle Splash.
Screw def. Jammer*** (Freakish Face Slam) – Dominant victory for Screw.. Jammer threw everything he had at the big guy, but nothing fazed him.
GWF Title Tournament Ricken Prince def. Blacklash (Royal Decree) Big Upset! Blacklash seemed sluggish, and went down hard just after the match began.
Omega def. Morpheus** (Tomahawk Thrust) – Not much doubt in the results here.. Morpheus never got it going.
GWF Tag Team Title Tournament Dorado Sundown def. Sam/Keller**** (Rustler's Stampede) The Dorado men showed their talent here... very impressive win.
Paladin Power***** def. Upper Crust* (Paladin Drop) It looked certain the Prince would compete for both titles for most of the match, as the Royals cut off Moonstrike and wore him down. The Titan made an incredible counter when Venomous went for the Widow Maker and turn the tide to get the pin. After the match, Dorado Sundown attacked Venomous, but the Titans quickly helped and fought them off.

Card 5 (June 2074)
This was supposed to be the big one.. the GWF was sincerely hoping for a sell out... and they didn't get it. While attendance was good, the 2nd highest since inception, it wasn't what they were looking for, Omega and Morpheus were scratching their heads a bit.
Thetis* def. Torpor** (Countout) – Thetis makes an impressive singles debut, flying around the ring and using his body as a weapon to keep Torpor stunned and confused.
Venomous def. Commander Sam* (DQ) – Sam was taken to school on the ground, and in his frustration was DQ'ed.
Defiance def. Mensans** (Scar Tisue) – Squash
Morpheus def. KO Keller*** (Trip to Hades x 3) – Morpheus told the crowd that he would be the 2nd ever GWF champion, and the longest reigning champion, no matter who won later on tonight. He was clearly on a mission here.. Keller took a real beating.
Santon def. Screw (DQ) – Not much match, just a wild brawl outside the ring. The crowd didn't seem to know who to root for, but were very interested none the less.
Tag Team Title Match Paladin Power******** def. Dorado Sundown******** (Paladin Drop) – Epic match... worthy of the crowning of the 1st ever Tag Team champions... all 4 men got a standing ovation front the crowd after the match. By far the best performance of anyone in the ring to date.
Title Match Omega* def. Ricken Prince** (DQ) The Prince quickly became the biggest villian in the GWF, starting the match with a slap in the face to the founder. The Spider King attempted to interfere, but Omega fought him off. The referee had seen enough the 2nd time, and called for the bell.

Card 6 July 2074
A good crowd came out to see Omega defeat the Prince once and for all, but they left disappointed. There were poor reactions throughout the show... by far the GWF's worst outing to date.
Trotarus def. Torpor (Mensan Lock)
Venomous def. Commander Sam (Waistlock Suplex) No tricks this time, though the Spider King got a fair amount of boos coming to the ring. Good solid victory. Torpor came down to the ring after the match and kicked Sam before he got up, leading to a brief brawl before security was called.
Cordsar def. Moonstrike (DQ)
Defiance Vs. Cross Currents (No Contest) Emotions were high with a tag team title shot at stake, and things got quickly out of control.
KO Keller def. Bullwhip (Ten Count) – total squash
Screw def. Santon (Missed Deathjump) slow, plodding match... lots of rest holds.
Blacklash** def. Morpheus** (Sundown) – very good match, lots of good action. Morpheus was not happy after the match, and complained to the referee that it was a fast count.
Title Match Omega def. Ricken Prince (DQ) – Omega demanded this match, so he could win the title 'fairly', and looked well on the way to do just that when the Prince kicked out of the Tomahawk Thrust! The Prince followed up quickly, and made Omega bow, causing the DQ.
The Prince grabbed the title belt as Omega was on the ground in pain and held it up, to a chorus of boos. He then reverently placed the belt next to the fallen champ and saluted it mockingly before heading to the back.

Card 7 Aug. 2074
The GWF really needed a good show to pull the fans back in, and scheduled a rematch of their history.. Paladin Power Vs. Dorado Sundown.
Screw def. Cordsar (Freakish Face Slam) – squash!
Santon def. Torpor* (running clothesline) – Torpor's best performance to date, but still not enough to win
Guardians** def. Defiance**** (Trip to Hades) – Very good match... Morpheus really had Jammer's number, but the tough guy just wouldn't stay down. It took several trips to hades to finish him off.
Torin Caelum def. Thetis (Caelum's Grip) Caelum looked none the worse for wear returning from injury... easy win for him here.
Sam/Keller**** def. Upper Crust (DQ) – The royals dominated the match, pummeling young Sam why KO was stuck on the apron. The Prince wasn't happy just winning, however, and made him Bow to the Prince, causing the DQ.
Tag Team Title Match Paladin Power*** def.. Dorado Sundown**** (Paladin Drop)
– Another great battle. Sundown was in control early, but Solar Flare battled back, and made the hot tag to Moonstrike. He but Bullwhip down and landed the Paladin Drop for the victory. The crowd once again gave the two teams a big hand, but this time Dorado Sundown responded by chop blocking Solar Flare then turning to double team Moonstrike. The hit the Rustlers' Stampede in the cener fo the ring, then tied him by the neck to the ropes. Solar Flare fought back, but by the time help came from the back, the damage was done. Moonstrike's neck had to be immobilized as he was taken to the back.

Card 8 Sep. 2074
The strong card last month led to a small uptick in the crowd, but still didn't approach the first few cards. While Omega was confident it would simply take time for the fans to get to know the roster, Morpheus was concerned.
Torpor def. Cordsar (Cygnus Air Raid) – Much needed victory for Torpor!
Trotarus def. Bullwhip (DQ) – Dorado Sundown continued to make no friends... Bullwhip seemed to have no interest in winning the match, but rather just tried to hurt Trotarus. Cordsar quickly hit the ring to make the save.
KO Keller def. Venomous**** (KO Flury) – dominant victory for Keller... no fight really from Venomous.
Defiance def. Cross Currents (Scar Tissue)
Solar Flare* def. Blacklash** (Paladin Missile) – Wild match, with lots of action outside the ring. The Titan got a small measure of revenge here, outbrawling Blacklash for the victory.
Ricken Prince def. Commander Sam* (Royal Decree) – Very clean match from the opening bell, which was surprising, considering the combatants. After the match, the Prince nailed Sam with Bow to the Prince, then kicked him again for good measure, then escaped before KO Keller could make the save.
Morpheus* def. Screw* (Trip to Hades) – Morpheus put himself in the driver's seat for a title shot with the victory.
Title Match Omega def. Santon** (Cosmic War Dance) Easy title defense for the champ.

Heh... I find the EC to be really fun... it sorta 'feels' like a territory, rather than a galactic juggernaut. I got big plans this time around, though I'm still pissed I lost my stuff and had to start over.. but it's going really well (I'm actually about 20 cards ahead of what I'm posting) so it's all good

He's one of the LFSC-E guys... they're exclusive to the promoter.. or, if you're me, they're nice art with which to make your own guys, that just happens to be sitting on the FG board. I posted the stats I made for him in the bootlegs section... you can see the art on the FG board.. when LWPD nicely posted it, along with the finisher and the relative strength of the card. Since I'm not willing to pay for the promoter, I filled in the blanks I'll be using a few others too, as things go along.
