So does anyone know what happened with Swarm? He reopened his board and he seems pissed about something. something to do with bugs not being fixed and the attitude of FG is no longer on the board...

Anyone else under-whelmed with the Chikara 5-packs being $12 each online and the Danielson card being _$4. And if you buy them all you get a CAC free....really? Becoming less pleased as time goes on with FG and taking us for granted.

Art done. All stats done. Zero paper costs. Zero art cots. Zero shipping costs. How much does it cost to copy the stats? And why do 12 card sets without charts, handbook or dice cost nearly the same as a 26 card set including all of those things?

Filsinger Games online product is like an entirely separate entity. Filsinger doesn't have much to do with it at all from what I can tell and doesn't seem like he has the first clue about how any of it works, or even on the differences between the types of consumers who want digital as opposed to physical product. It was allegedly his edict that prices for product be the same for online as physical because he didn't want the cheaper online product costing physical sales. Granted, there are other operating costs at work for delivering and hosting the online product; but it is unusual to maintain the identical price points in an age where digital books and music are often offered much cheaper than their physical counterparts.
Other than cost and perceived value, the way online is run is a turn off for a lot of people. I became a "discouraged online player" some time ago. Things seem to disappear from online accounts at random, the multiplayer and "chat lobby" has been mostly broke from the start, and there seems to be a general apathy about fixing things and addressing customer issues.
In fact, if you come up with enough legitimate complaints you may see another rash of nasty "guest" posts from an IP in Maryland start popping up.

Yep. The O board is back to being LWPD's legacy in life. Hope he's happy again.

I listened to the podcast this morning. The sound quality is horrible. The rest, eh, first episode and they're trying to figure it out. The sound is bad for a podcast. I typically don't listen to shows that sound like that.

I typically don't listen to shows that sound like that. Podcast content wasn't bad, but the audio was and the reason is easily explained. It's on Blog Talk Radio: they make EVERYTHING sound horrible. I've listened to probably about a dozen different shows hosted there and they all sounded just like that. It's not the crew's fault outside of the fact that they're using Blog Talk Radio.

They need to move then. They'll never get an audience with that sound quality.
I thought the content was really hit or miss but I think you have to give them 10 episodes to figure things out. I You have to develop chemistry and all that. I don't think it's fair to judge on that. I'm really just upset that it sounded so bad. You can make a professional quality show for next to nothing.

During the time I listened the first night before the feed was lost I thought Wiggy kept saying Um, way too much. But if that's the worst thing about the show then it's alright.

My problem was, I read the initial podcast thread and thought he said Wiggly and was really excited because I used to be a fan of SWF. Then the podcast started and it was Wiggy and I was a little disappointed.
Todd seemed uncomfortable about speaking up but that's not really a bash or anything. More an observation.

RE: The Chikarmy bios that were going to be posted on the official message board last month: Read more: filsingergames.proboards.com/thread/12756/chikarmy-bios#ixzz2TDp4uGonYou know what would keep this from happening? Other than actually printing up a little sheet with the wrestlers' information and sticking it in with the cards (I mean damn, this could be done with a home printer on a piece of copy paper for a couple of cents apiece and be better than nothing)? Having paid staff tasked with having this stuff ready before these sets become available. But if you're not willing to pay double what six cards are worth and actually expect to get all of the information about the cards you bought Tom Filsinger will make a lot of thinly veiled comments on twitter about loyalty and how he was always loyal to Stan Lee. Hell, Stan Lee always made sure the books had a beginning, middle, and end and were inked, lettered, and colored with everything including a full color cover so the fans always got what they paid for.
