I have to say I've seen the hate and bashing not only happen in small communities like ours or even the Fire Pro Club where people are attacked on a daily basis and would fit in well in our community, anyway I was also on the old Sci-Fi Channels board during the height of Farscape and the Farscape fans and Star Trek fans were brutal and made our community look minor league and they allowed the trashing to continue on when Farscape was still running, so in the end I think no matter what the hate and bashing will always be part of the overall body of a board where you don't have to see the people face to face...

I don't agree at all. You are playing the game wrong. Stop playing and kill yourself.
Sorry, I didn't mean to Swarm this post and Rob everybody.

Holy Shit....... So am I the only one that has not been banned from any of the boards? lol I'm sorry Havoc you got banned after replying to me Funny thing is about the color issue is that I problably started all of it. I told Eric, Avarice about it and how I think it will be neat but probably jump the price up. I talked to him about how I was worried about that because of my job situation etc etc. Then he goes and posts it on the official board....... Hmm I do find it funny how such a small community can be so.....divided. I hear alot about Desktop but no one has mentioned POWFront Office! That is a great program! I seem to get along pretty well with everyone but who knows that may change. I wonder if I'll get blasted for my B4C rant on here? I'm going to post my critiques on the official board here pretty soon but not be as satirical. I love this game but I think Tom is trying to do too much. I was excted about 2125 (my first pre ordered GWF set ever) but was underwhelmed by the writing, as I was with the B4C. I think he's been more focused on LOW and trying to do stuff with Stan. I'm surprised that he is re-re-releasing Election Daze for DMP. It has Stan's name on it but its outdated now and its already been sold in pdf form. I've never met Tom so I can't say I know him or what he's thinking but to me it seems that he is trying to stretch his small fanbase thin to get as much money as he can. I think thats normal for anyone in a business though. I haven't read all of Tom's stuff but I have found that I so much more enjoy Osk's and Mark's writing. If it wasn't for Osk and the aCe I wouldn't be playing this game. I still need to find a way to convince Osk to do more writing. I doubt it happens though. Last time I heard Tom doesn't pay for the writing. I know Rob didn't get any extra money for writing the last few Z sets. I think he got his money back in the expenses (art) and all extra money after that went back to Tom. I heard that aCe and POW could continue if they did the same thing. I really wonder if Mark is getting anything for POW 2124? If he wasn't I'd be willing to donate a little more as I would for Osk or the Z. To me thats kinda crappy not to get anything other than the fun of doing it. If I got nothing out of it I'd find it hard to write a set, cuz thats doing free work for someone else. And sometimes thats crappy

I came into the game in summer 2007, right before Liger and Tiger Mask were announced for Legends International. Canadian Pitbull is the guy who actually introduced me to the game, and when I saw that Bruiser Brody was in the game, I wanted in. I think within like...a month and a half I managed to buy every set that was out at the time, as well as preorder International.
The Deuce was a cool board, but any time anyone praised anything WWE, CPB would come in and shit all over it and gush about TNA, which lead to a lot of stupid debates and arguments. I ended up getting banned by Captain Cold for saying that I'd never use Angelo Mosca, and that I didn't want to do any research on him. So again, I got banned.
I joined the Official Board because I was pretty well out of the loop by 2008. LWPD and I haven't really ever gotten along, that goes all the way back to when I called someone out on something (I don't even remember what it was), and I got banned. Then there was me getting warned for posting an owl pic that said "I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE", and then the Kingston video thing. I hate to harp on it, but why is Kingston saying, "Fuck vampires" more offensive than Bosh and Lost making fun of a "retarded" guy? Is it just because the video of Bosh and Lost is from PWG, so it's alright because if it gets moved Vegas might have a stroke?

I believe in good and evil. I believe that we all have to choose between one or the other. It's not always the big things--do I rob this liquor store? Do I stab my ex-girlfriend who cheated on me? Do I take money from this guy who's weaker and smaller than I am? It starts with the little stuff. Do I flip off the guy who cut me off in traffic? Do I look down the blouse of the hot chick in front of me at Burger King who just dropped her purse? Do I backdate the shipping form at work so it doesn't look like I mailed out the very important files late? For those playing at home... The correct answers are... a. no b. no c. no d. yes e. YES! (unless it's your daughter) f. no ;D

I think he's been more focused on LOW and trying to do stuff with Stan. Really? He's definitely doing too much at once but I don't think he's focused on LOW at all.

I think he's been more focused on LOW and trying to do stuff with Stan. Really? He's definitely doing too much at once but I don't think he's focused on LOW at all. Well way I'm thinking is that it started with Online. Online was the big thing remember! Next great step and all that. Well aCe was a big part of that as its what launched Online. Then as aCe started to dwindle so did Online. Well CotGOnline that is. Then the next big thing was pushing LOW and LOWOnline. It seemed like it was the year of LOW. Then in between all of that he started to mess with Stan. Election daze and all that. Honestly, I don't have LOW so I wouldn't know if its 'slipping' but yes I think he's stretching himself out. After reading B4C and the 2125 booklet I think thats apparant. I'm kinda bummed about the whole Online thing. I was stoked for it when it first came out. I liked the subscription portion and the cheaper sets. Since i'm sometimes sporadic with my playing it worked out well and wouldn't be a big deal if my subscription lapsed and I went a few months with no playing. Now I'm finding it hard to justify buying a digital set that I can only access online at the same price as the cardstock. Especially since it seems that updating Online is no longer being looked at since they took away the subscription fees. Heck think about it. What ever happened to the multiplayer option that we were told there would be when it first came out? ? It's like there might be a case of ADHD going on at HQ. Do a little something here and move, do a little something there and move. People think its better to multi-task but studies show that people do less quality work when multi-tasking....

I never played aCe, but I knew it was big. I wish it had a brighter future.

I never played aCe, but I knew it was big. I wish it had a brighter future. I think it was big due to the writing honestly. The first set from FG I bought was 2087. I thought it was neat and I played around with it some but had trouble getting into it. Next set I bought was 2119, liked the bigger roster and art but I couldn't get into it. I was lurking around the boards a lot and was checking out CPC at that time and aCe. I liked the sci-fi horror aspect so I got aCe 2121 when it came out and got the back up stuff too. I did that because the booklet got me excited to play with the characters. While I don't believe you have to do everything by the book it helps get you motivated to read a good story about them IMO. Until Flesh and Blood came out I really thought Osk's talents were going to waste. I still think he should be doing sets even if its just the small ones that it was supposed to be slotted to. The only thing 'silly' about aCe IMO, is the idea of a war taking place inside a ring. These sets would have been perfect for the superhero version of the game. Well at least a more detailed version of the superhero game. I haven't done a POW fed yet but I've been getting it since it started MMA or became POW. But once again I love Mark's writing in the 2124 booklet. I really like the Z too. I think that its interesting that the three sets not written by Tom were/are: Dead, ending soon, and just barely making a comeback (POW). Honestly I'm surprised POW 2124 came out even...
