It hasn't happened yet, but it sounds like it's a matter of time... what do you guys think, will this FINIALLY be the thing that makes TNA a legit player? I thought it was very encouraging that they had mostly wrestling last week and had a great (for them) rating.
I haven't watched for a while, but I may this week.
Thoughts?

I watch every week, and honestly, I really enjoy TNA. The worst part has been Hogan and Bischoff, because I hate those fucks.
The best part of WWE has been the emergence of the NXT Seven. Matter of fact, I'm thinking of buying one of their tee-shirts.

I think part of the reason that the Nexus story is being pusghed so much is that it brings in new faces and match-ups we haven't seen repeatedly for the last few years.
TNA offers so much MORE wrestling over it's 2 hours compared to RAW that it is not even funny. Younger, hungier talent & more matches, that are not all 2 minutes and done with allows TNA to look different. Problem is that too many people believe that wrestling is WWE, just like MMA is UFC.

I have to say guys that if it wasnt for Ring Of Honor I would have stopped watching wrestling completely...WWE is catered to 8 year old while TNA thinks if they sign every has been that will put them over the top..Heyman to TNA would be the best thing to ever happen to them..The NXT guys suck...Only Barrett can wrestle and they let the best guy go (Danielson)..The angles and match on the LWA board are better that anything in either of those companys.

I haven't really watched much of anything lately... TNA is on opposite Burn Notice, and WWE just doesn't hold my attention.
I keep meaning to catch up with RoH, but I never seem to get around to it...
I think if they really do get Heymann, or just simply get rid of the WWE cast offs and move forward, TNA could really do something...WWE's ratings are down to the mid-3's.
Granted, it's still over triple what TNA draws (never mind their horrid PPV buy rates) but I think they have the talent to move up, if they just used it to create their own product instead of mimicking WWE.

I konw this is an old thread, but I didn't notice it before. Heyman turned them down because he wanted complete creative control and Jarrett/Dixie weren't willing to give it to him. That, and he makes a hell of a lot of money working for Brock, and being with TNA would leave him with little time to work with/for Brock.

If that's the sticking point, they're idiots. I assumed it was money.
