So, what do other people do for fun on the interwebs? My favorite browser game: www.ikariam.orgIt's a fairly typical civ-like game, with a greek theme. It's definitely long term (it takes probably a month to get going) but it has a nice balance between being able to do stuff when you want and not having to be on constantly. You can also play without spending money, which is not the case in many 'free' games. If you like board games: www.yourturnmyturn.comhas all the classics (chess, checkers, backgammon, go, etc) and a few Eurogames.. small player base, but well run... does ranking nicely, regular tournaments, etc. The only downside is it's only turn-by-turn.. you can't play live, you only get 50 moves a day without paying. www.yucata.deNice collection of Euro-games.. about 40 different ones. Far larger player base that yourturnmyturn, and you CAN play live.. people often do so. Downside is there's no organized tournaments or good rankings.. their system is a weird nebulous thing based on mayan culuture... it does track wins and losses though. For Flash games: I find www.armorgames.com is probably the best for games you can play more than ones... there's also www.addictinggames.com (lots of overlap betwen the two). I also like www.ninjakiwi.com, which is the home of Bloons Tower defense, which is the best TD game ever.

I like to play dragon tavern still. Silly little text dungeon crawler. I play in the mornings before I go to work.
