Every issue of WWE Magazine has a "Fantasy Match-Up" where they have a current guy versus an old school wrestler. The latest issue (arrived yesterday) had this match-up:
Survivor Series Match:
Team 1987: Andre the Giant (c), Rick Rude, Butch Reed, One Man Gang, and King Kong Bundy
vs.
Team 2010: Sheamus (c), Drew McIntyre, The Miz, Jack Swagger & Ted DiBiase, Jr
WWE Magazine had Team 2010 winning, with Swagger and Sheamus as the survivors. Your thoughts?

Obvious they would say the current guys would win. Also obvious that they wouldn't.

Team '87 would obliterate Team '10. Not even close.

My brother and I were talking about this and he made a good point, guys like Swagger, Drew, and Sheamus move much better than the big guys back then, but Team 1987 would win in the end.

87 - Andre & Rude.
But really, does anyone expect them to bury two guys who've won world titles in the last year when the other team only has one former champ - Andre. I don't count Rude's world title.

I'd want to see Swagger gutwrench all the big dudes on the other team. I think at the very least he could get Andre up for it.
This isn't even the worst I've seen them do. They did Hart Dynasty (Kidd/Nattie/Harry) vs. The Hart Foundation (Bret/Anvil/Jimmy), and the Dynasty won.

You know, I'm not sure it's so ridiculous. By 87 Andre was pretty close to the end of his career, and Bundy was never anything but big.
Swagger, Miz, and Dibiase and both far more athletic than anyone from the 87 team but Rude.
I think it's a pick'em, myself.
The Harts, OTOH, that's pretty ridiculous... the new guys are entertaining, but no where near the Hart Foundation.

Bret would just stand there with his shades and Jimmy Hart would be screaming through the megaphone while Jimmy brought down the Anvil of Justice.

They have (in the past) gone with a Legend once in the while, but things have schewed to the ridiculous at times. But it is WWE Magazine, so I am never surprised.
