Well Spike TV pre-empts iMPACT! this week because of the NFL game Thursday, they know they'll get smoked that night but it's both a bad and good move for TNA...
Last week's iMPACT! drew a 1.4 rating ( unofficial ) and I've seen on another board that the pay-per-view Sunday was really good with Angle and Hardy bringing the house down and so coming off what might be a decent push for TNA and not have a show is not really good...
10 / 7 iMPACT! goes LIVE again, not sure if it will be LIVE every week but that is the date they are LIVE, could be for this 10/10/10 angle they have building up, I bet it will be another hyped let down...
Watching RAW last night, wow that was a boring show and having 2 blocks of commercial with very little action in the first twenty minutes is bad, I did like the Miz promo in the ring but that was about it and that whole e-mail GM needs to end now...
Anyway, it's not really in favor of TNA to be off this week and with the spoilers out people will look that over a little and may not tune in...

The Pay-Per-View, in my opinion, was pretty much shit other than AJ/Dreamer and Angle/Jeff. The AJ/Dreamer match was good, and the Angle/Jeff match was easily better than anything TNA has put on TV this year despite the booking I didn't agree with. iMPACT going live again is an interesting choice. Can't edit out blown spots or unwanted chants.

In the end for me and I think most who just want more entertaining wrestling we're not getting with TNA's booking and well for me the WWE has issues too, but I think the older I get the product is moving past me and that's fine I'll still give it chance but it's not like before that's for sure...

Live or taped, TNA is better than RAW on a weekly basis. Whether you like it's booking or not, the wrestling is consistently better. SF will disagree, b/c he hates TNA, but I would rather watch a taped TNA over a Live RAW 9 times out of 10.

SF will disagree, b/c he hates TNA, but I would rather watch a taped TNA over a Live RAW 9 times out of 10. Don't act like I'm some blinder wearing idiot. 2005 TNA is one of my favorite years to revisit on tape, 2006, too. Once Russo came back in late 2006, the company got tanked to beat hell and has gotten worse since then. The booking sucks, the storylines make me want to kill people, and I hate the fans in attendance. One match per week being good is perfectly fine, but to hear you talk, EVERY match on the show is great. I watch iMPACT on fast forward for the most part, and I'd bet my life outside of MCMG/Bucks/Beer Money and the occasional Joe/AJ match where either of those guys is motivated, that the show as a whole is shit outside of that one match, and to talk to the general consensus, I'd be right to bet my life on that because that's a bet I'm not gonna lose. I mean, it's not like WCW where sure, the second hour of the show sucks but the first hour has the great cruiser action. No, it's a bunch of bland, stupid segments with one good match per week and the episode ends in a brawl. I'm a fan of Shelley and Sabin, the Bucks, Beer Money, Samoa Joe, Matt Morgan. Guys like that. When they want to, TNA can put on a great show. Most of the time, they don't. One good match per episode means nothing when the rest of the show sucks, period. And I'd rather watch one hour of Superstars than both hours of iMPACT any day. One hour, and it's almost all wrestling, and good wrestling at that. Not one good match, on most occasions, every match is good. We're not going to agree on wrestling, because I'd rather not watch a show overpopulated by guys I watched when I was little, and you'd rather not watch WWE. I couldn't think of a more derogatory thing to call it than WWE. For what it's worth, I don't get why I got called out for no real reason at all. So I don't like one style of wrestling, it doesn't mean I won't give it credit when they do something right every once in a while. As a matter of fact, I praised the Angle/Jeff and AJ/Dreamer matches from the PPV in this very post. Of course, this is all preference. What you want to see isn't particularly what I want to see. So we may as well call it a wash.

I think that we all can agree that we have our own tastes in wrestling and I think we can agree on that we want a entertaining product from in-ring action to storylines. There are things in the WWE I do like and there are things I dislike and that is the same for TNA, I just think the current product with both is subpar at best for most of the time...
Anyway, let's move on and be different from the attacks that we see on some other WWE Blinder Wearing Zombie's board that we know really well and be as civil as possible it's better that way...

I think the big problem is that we have to cling to the small scraps of goodness we get in today's wrestling, which is, by and large, pretty lousy when you compare it to the territory days, or even the attitude era.

It was not aimed to be a personal attack, I was just throwing it out there, as it seems every time I say anything good about TNA, I get told that I'm wrong. So if I insulted you, I am sorry. We do disagree about the products, but in reality we both want the same thing: better wrestling programs. I still watch WWE every week, no matter how frustrating it might be. The same way I watched LLUSA even with its numerous commercials and constant recapping what just happened. Is TNA perfect? Of course not. Is RAW completely horrible, also of course not. It is just frustrating, no matter how you slice it.

I did get DVDs from you, but it still doesn't make the new wrestling better! My wife loves when the Japanese announcers yell: "BRAINBUSTAAAAHHH!"
