AIDS cases in pro wrestling. As much as guys sleep with ring rats and all the blood spilled, esp on indy shows, I'm always shocked there hasn't been some case somewhere down the line.

Now that you mention it, yeah, it is pretty shocking there aren't any AIDS cases in wrestling, at least that anyone knows of/talks about.

I never thought about it, but that's a good point. Maybe they don't get as much action as we think and/or they claim.

I never thought about it, but that's a good point. Maybe they don't get as much action as we think and/or they claim. LOL, nice! A bunch of us used to watch all the PPVs, but quit watching when a) they weren't worth it anymore and b) we started having kids But a few of us got together for lunch on Monday which brought that up. One was watching some indy shows and both guys were just gushing blood. I said, "Sorry, I don't want people bleeding over me" and one friend brought up the AIDS stuff. It is weird though...unless it was well kept and one of those early "steroid deaths" happened to be HIV/AIDS related (although we probably would have seen some sort of pic of a shruken wrestler)
