Jeff Hardy is the new Champion and he turned heel with Hogan and Bischoff, the ending statement from Mike Tenay was Jeff Hardy signed a deal with the devil. Hogan came out with crutches and he gave one to Eric and then one to Hardy and Hardy used it on both Angle and Anderson to win the World Title. I like it and remember, Eric Bischoff had Dixie sign on iMPACT! a deal that she did not read and thought was to get rid of Abyss but Eric must have lied and told her it was to get rid of Abyss but she didn't read it so I can see Bischoff and Hogan running TNA...

People in Washington don't read the health care bill and still sign it...Dixie Carter doesn't read a contract and signs it. How do people get to be in charge!??!?!??!?!?!??!

Just read the show recap. People said it was good, but some of it (ie Jeff's heel turn) sounded so stupid.

Just read the show recap. People said it was good, but some of it (ie Jeff's heel turn) sounded so stupid. I saw some of the ppv on a stream, it look good but I'm not much of a fan watching wrestling for hours on hours on the computer so I turned it off for a spell and came back for the main event match and that was a really good match. When Jeff Hardy was outside the ring and the referee was out and Bischoff and Hogan appeared I thought to myself why don't they have Hardy turn heel ( yeah yeah yeah I'm saying this now LOL ) and low and behold it happened. I don't mind Jarrett turning heel but it was not the best heel turn, I think he turned because that will now put Joe on the side of Sting and the Pope. Anyway, what I saw was good match wise and so that is a good thing and it capped off a week of wrestling that started with that shit storm called RAW...

From what I read, the opener (MMG vs. GenMe) was a lot of spots but good. Also the Lethal Lockdown was solid as well.
I didn't see anything, I am just going by what I read.

So "They" turned out to be a heel Hogan, Bischoff, Hardy & Jarrett?

So "They" turned out to be a heel Hogan, Bischoff, Hardy & Jarrett? Yes and Abyss too is part of THEY, so far that is it with THEY and you had to know the hype about it would be a letdown and nothing earth shattering but I do like that Hardy turned heel something that dawned on me that is a interesting thing to do...

Just watched the show on my PC, my thoughts:
GenME/MCMG: **** Angelina/Tara/Velvet/Madison: -*** (Fucking terrible) Ink Inc./OJ and Young: *1/2 Lethal/Williams: ***1/4 RVD/Abyss: *3/4 Nash/Sting/Burke vs. Joe/Jarrett: ** Lethal Lockdown: ***1/2 Angle/Hardy/Anderson: ****
IMO after watching it, everything came off better than it did on the recap except for the Knockouts match. I feel kind of bad I didn't pay to see Lethal/Williams, GenME/MCMG, Lethal Lockdown, and the main event, but at the same time, it's TNA.
Really good PPV, especially compared to the last two efforts on WWE's part. Highly doubt anything on Bragging Rights beats the opener of this PPV.

When I woke up Sunday Morning I thought to myself order this pay-per-view, the 2005 BfG was when I started to order TNA ppv's and I like BfG but I chose not to order but what I saw online was good and it did look for the most part a good pay-per-view that wasn't the worst pay-per-view they could have done. I'm not saying TNA should go LIVE every week with iMPACT!, but going back to a LIVE show every other week might be good and with their schedule being strange I'm not sure they would attempt this again but LIVE can be a good thing. Anyway, I'm looking to see how things unfold this week and weeks to come again in TNA and that hasn't happened in months...

Judging by the writeups, sounds like some good wrestling... the booking is a mystery though, as usual. Why would the old ECW guys beat Fortune? Dreamer pinning AJ is absurd, really.
Hardy turning hell is interesting, but I'm not sure it's gonna work... will the Impact zone fans really boo him? I can't see it.

Zone crowd ( several not all ) did jeer him so it might be possible...

This was a good show for the most part. The Knockouts match was awful. I don't think anyone will disagree with that. The comedy match was pretty weak in it's slot... I would have put it on first to get the crowd loose, and put the insane tag title match on after the ladies to signal that the "real" show had begun.
The rest of the card was solid for the most part. The X-Division title match would have benefitted from some hype but the match itself was very good. Joe/Jarrett against Sting/Pope/Nash was kind of a washout. Monsters Ball was good but Abyss can do this sort of thing in his sleep. Lethal Lockdown was good. I guess the idea is that this is the last run for most of these EV2.0 guys so they went over, it doesn't hurt Fortune any to put them over, so why not?
The main event was good until the ending, which took foooooooorever to develop because of Hogan on crutches. I don't mind the swerve or the direction of the story, it just took way too long to play out in the ring.
Definitely an old school WCW style ppv. Take that as you will.
