After watching bits of the Celtics and Heat game from the other night and I just watched the Nets home opener against the Pistons in what I thought was a very good and exciting game. The game ended 101-98 with the Nets winning the home opener and majority owner Russian Mikhail Prokhorov was in attendance and showed some emotion's from the victory, even Jay-Z ( minority owner ) and Beyonce were there, a good start for Avery Johnson's team which is the first year for Johnson...
I'll be following the Nets more this season and some of the other teams, for the first time in a long time it seems like I'll enjoy watching some NBA Basketball...

Russian Mark Cuban (as Bill Simmons calls him) should be interesting to see develop over the next couple months.
I'd actually love to see 'Melo go there.. I think if you added him to that team that'd defintely be in the mix for the Eastern Conference title.

Watched Pacers/Spurs last night. Was a good game, but the Pacers got stomped. Cavs/Celtics, what I caught of it, was a good game too.

Bucks/Hornets was good too, except for the final score. Bogut looked pretty good in his first game coming back from that horrible injury, 15 points 14 boards. I think he had Shaq shoot his free throws for him though, 3 out of 10. BJ3 was 5-14 shooting, I don't think Mark Price's shooting camp is helping.....

The Celts/Cavs game was an entertaining game, but sad... the C's clearly took them for granted.
I also wanted the 1st quarter of the Clippers game, and man, was Blake Griffin impressive. 3 or 4 highlight reel dunks in the 8 minutes a watched.

Well, as I posted during the draft, The Magic DESTROYED the Wiz. Tonight is Magic at Heat. Should be a great game.
I'm gonna say this now......don't hate on Cleavland just yet. I bet they win more games than anyone projects and may even make a playoff push.

It is very early in the season but the Wizards I bet will not make the playoff's, they just look bad and Orlando really crushed them... That's what I don't get about people saying Cleveland is done, they were a good and playoff team last year and losing LeBron might hurt them long term but I can see this season being a good season for them but the next few years could be the true test if they can't bring in key players that they might or will need to keep them playoff bound...

I think one advantage that Cleveland has is the fact that they hired Byron Scott as coach. Scott is a very good coach and proved that in his years with New Orleans. He's a guy, I believe that players will play for. And the owner is obviously willing to spend money.

It was written on the wall that LeBron was leaving Cleveland even if the Cav's brought in a new coach who is good in Scott and the owner willing to pay for talent and so we'll see where Cleveland ends at the end of the year, it would be nice to see them do well...

Great night for B-Ball tonight... Celts-Knicks and Heat-Magic. Pacers-Bobcats, too! Can't watch that game though since I'm DVRing Celts-Knicks and SmackDown. Tomorrow night I'm looking forward to Pacers-76ers. Hoping Indiana can get their shit together, I'd love to see them go to the playoffs.

Watched the Pacers-Bobcats game in the living room while SD DVR'd in my room. Good fourth quarter, glad the Pacers won.

Wow, Amazing stat line for Rondo.. and KG played like it was 2002.
Heat-Magic's been a fizzle though.
Hey Switch, how'd Hansborough look? I got him on the bench of my fantasy team... hopin' he's going be somethin' by mid-season.
