I love Legends, but I hate when people just make stupid, beyond belief, guesses.
I was looking at the O board and someone mentioned Bret Hart. I mean, come on...don't just make stupid guesses or ones that you love. I want a good discussion on who it may be and what's your reasoning for it. Hart, the guy is in the WWE right now...not going to be in the game.

I have to say it could still be Lex Luger, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was someone different. I'm not really sure who the other name could be but a few guesses I have are X-pac, Scott Hall or Sid Vicious...

Also if you want guys like Savage, Flair, and Hart all you have to do is print out Cory Olson's bootlegs since those are probably close to what an official one would be

I love Legends, but I hate when people just make stupid, beyond belief, guesses. I was worried that this was aimed at my John Cena and Abe Lincoln comments. Seriously, part of me has to wonder if this is really a mystery guy with a holy shit factor, or merely the fact that this set has less cards and they want us to buzz about it. I mean, if they are gonna have less cards and the price stays the same, we should get "bigger names" instead of "fodder". We have had some big names thus far, but a few are in the 'meh' catagory as well. I think the use of SE cards for some of the "lesser names" or "left out guys" is not a bad idea, but I could see that turning into something that is mis-used as well. I was hoping the big thing this week would have been them shipping early so we would have them before Thanksgiving. That would have been a nice "surprise" that everyone who ordered would definately have loved.

Oh no no, I knew you were joking with that. That was obvious you were. I mean when people say Flair, things like that. There are some that are obvious we aren't getting (in the short term)

On the O Board, my guess was Andy Kaufman, though that's only half serious. At this point I really like the possibility of it being Billy Jack Haynes. I'm really glad Dalton put an end to the Benoit speculation. I was thinking I was to the point where I wouldn't mind him having a card, then I walked town the WWE aisle of Toys R Us looking for Christmas gifts for my nephew. They had 6 different Benoit action figures out on clearance. It totally weirded me out.

Luger seems a good LoW candidate in that he hasn't been around in a long time, and might be pretty willing... he's be a pretty good name, though he's not my favorite guy.
For me, if it's not Savage, if better be someone fantastic that we're not thinking of. Because of Tom's teasing, I was kinda looking forward to seeing him. There's not a lot of guys that are possible that I'd want more.

It will be interesting to see who the mystery card is and he may not be any of the truly possible names mentioned yet...
Randy Savage in my view would not be a mystery card, he is a main eventer for a set and all that teasing about Randy from Florida was just gas to fuel the LOW fires to get people buzzing and IF it was Randy Savage, that would be cool and I would have no issue with that...

Personally am hoping for a guy from the mid-90s to make the set. Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Scott Norton, Sid Vicious, or Shane Douglas.

I will throw out Gene Snitsky on the chance Tom talked to him after I did back in the summer.

I will throw out Gene Snitsky on the chance Tom talked to him after I did back in the summer. I'd love to see a Snitsky card. He's a local guy that I used to see at WXW shows here in town when he first starting out. I met him a few times and he seemed like a decent guy. A friend of mine did a tattoo for him and then a year or two later The WWE put out a Snitsky action figure that had the same tattoo. Snitsky stopped by to see my friend and gave him one of the action figures. He keeps it on a shelf in his tattoo parlor now.

Werner and I got Norton's contact info and when we talked to him he seemed really into it saying, "I need to do more things like this to get my name out there." That said, I don't know if official FG contact was ever made.

I'd definity think Snitsky and Norton would be good additions.

I don't know if Tom ever got in touch with Norton. I sent a message at his myspace back some time ago, never got a reply.
