Also for consideration, this game looks similar to UQW and is made by Markus Vander Zanden. Best of all, it's all free. I've downloaded all the sets, just need to print them out. Most interesting looking set for me is the Global Wrestling Federation from the early 90s. freakshowgames.weebly.com/brainbuster.html

He's got another game out? Interesting. He did what was essential his own version of the GWF a while back... the characters were similar to his ICOF boots, but with his own game system.

Just got UQW today. Paid for the Die Cut boxed version. Only complaint so far is the guy's obviously a heavy smoker as the stuff reeks of smoke.
Played a few matches and it is ULTRA QUICK to say the least. Will be fun to dig a little deeper. I got the 1985 WWF roster.

Here are some PC wrestling games that are freeware from MDickie... www.mdickie.com/Wrestling Mpire 2008 is cool but Im more partial to Federation Booker.

Is it an arcade game, or a booking sim? Looks like the latter, but the graphics make it seem like you might actually play matches. I'm thinking it's pretend guys made to look like real ones, yes? I've seen it before, but never thought it exciting enough to pay for. For free I suppose I could just try it out

Yes the characters are based off real life guys. For free its fun for me.. would I pay.. probably not.

I was looking at the Downey games stuff again... interesting that alot of the board posts are people that either have been here, or are here now (Allen Shock, Frank C, Rickert). It seems like what I have (Vintage Pro Wrestling) is a bit different from the UQ stuff you guys have... the guys I have have a couple extra charts... one for what result it is (DQ vs pin vs. chaos), and a 'finish' chart that tells you what move they win with... it that true? I was wondering if it's worth getting a UQ set too, to compare, contrast, and re-furbish

Maybe you guys can help me out. I played a wrestling sim game a few years back that wasn't bad and had a free 30 day download. I can't remember the exact name but it was something like TM7.

I remember that one.. it was a little TOO thorough for my taste.. you had to set up EVERYTHING... pretty good it that's your thing, though.

That's it thanks www.tnm7.de/cgi-bin/rmcms.cgi?page=mainThe game is pretty thorough with all the add ons you can buy. The only bad thing I see is the current wrestlers haven't been updated for three years.
