So, just in official cards alone, there is an impressive aray of Legends. Has anyone ever thought about doing an era by era type of fed? For instance; you start out with the "Vintage" guys. John Pesek, William Muldoon, Lou Thesz and so on. Then, as the years go on, you start to bring in the next crop of guys; until you get up to the present day LOTF/current LOW guys. Guys would retire after 30 years or so to establish a HoF type thing or whatever. I personally don't have time for this but was wondering if anybody else had thought of it.

When I did a territory system I tended to break them up by era.

I was actually kinda thinking of trying this with the UQ game... I got the '73 set, and thought I'd start from there and go forward.
I think with FG, it would be tough to pull together enough guys for the older eras... while we have a nice array of the old guys, it's not really enough for a fed, unless you go from like the turn of the century up through the 60s or so.
That could work, I suppose.
I would actually love to see the cards released more by time/era/fed, but obviously that isn't possible for LoW... guys like Downey games or Superstar wrestling that do so clearly don't get permission.. that's why the Downey Games stuff is called 'Eastern Territory' and not WWF and doesn't advertise who's in those sets.

I thought about doing something like this but mixing in the early classic guys with legends and slowly retiring or replacing the legends guys with GWF guys

I have thought about having the Vintage guys meet up for a monthly or quarterly card. Sort of like some of the bigger indys do now.

I think I would try that once we knew no other Legends sets would be released. But it's definitely an interesting idea.
The only reason I wouldn't is because I'd get up to, say the year 1960, and they'd release an Evan Lewis card.
