More thoughts:
RVD has been sleepwalking the last few months and Hardy has been out of action so I am not surprised that this match was pretty lackluster. The finish was weak. I could see Matt Hardy being Jeff's Enforcer (A "No one messes with my brother!" sort of thing) but that doesn't make sense without Jeff having the belt!
Interesting note, Tenay and Taz called the Twist of Fate (Hate), but didn't call the Side Effect anything. That name cannot be WWE IP, can it?
Jarrett-Angle was amusing, which was what I was hoping for. I dig Jarrett being a coward like this so I am already sold on the angle. Jarrett's "Son of a bitch!" in round 2 was hilarious. This feud is just getting started. My boy Mikal Judas got some incidental stick time in the intervals, which was awesome.

@switchfoot, Well to be fair, they called it the Twist of Fate, then speculated whether Matt would also call it the Twist of Hate. BTW, your comments about RVD are pretty accurate. I have always thought that about RVD, that he needed someone like Lynn or even someone like Tommy Dreamer in the ring with him to help with the psychology. Atheltically the man is gifted but his matches very often feel canned to me -- and I have been watching RVD since he debuted in ECW.
Last batch of thoughts:
The main event... TNA really wants Anderson to be the next Steve Austin. I just don't think he can pull that off. Anyway, I thought this was about as good as one could hope for from these two. Take that as you will. Morgan moves pretty well and I have been impressed with his progress since his push started. He can play the role of the white kneed babyface well. But Anderson doesn't do anything for me; I would have much preferred Morgan to win the match and take the belt. Very average match.
The aftermatch was nothing special because once he kicked out twice the ending is predictable. I liked Hardy wearing a tie. I don't understand making Anderson the champ because if you wanted to take the belt off of Hardy it makes more sense to me to put it on Morgan.
Definitely a real let down after the last two shows.
