After much waffling, I've decided to give 2119 another try... but it'll be MY way... it will slightly resemble the official story, but only slightly.
The Beginning
In the wake of the attempted shut down of wrestling, the rise of the CPC, and a general economic recession, the GWF was deep in the red. In order to keep things going, Champions of the Galaxy, Inc., was forced to sell the federation, lock, stock and barrel to an old Earth Wrestling hand, Amanda Levesque. Mrs. Levesque immediately fired the GWF champ, Euritar (who was rumor to be leaving anyway) and vacated the titles, firing many long time GWF talents, while bringing in many of her own (cheaper) wrestlers. Levesque promises more excitement, more entertainment, and a more fun product... but no mention of quality of the wrestling, distrurbing many long time fans.
The newly re-named Galactic Championship Wrestling moved their traditional headquarters on Deimos to Earth, though with a promise to continue to serve its fans.
The Blast Zone, GCW's 'house' arena and TV studio, is home to the semi-weekly Holovison broadcast, GCW Blast-off, with GWF Legend Pulsar on Color commentary and Inigo Montoya (VII) on play by play.

GCW Blast-Off!! Jan. 11th, 2119 Blast Zone, Atlanta, Earth
Dark Matches: Switchblade(w/ Lorelei)*** def.. Biff Malibu(w/ Kay Fabe)** by DQ Swtichblade had a real chip on his shoulder as he came out to the ring, and his mood only got worse when Malibu got a big pop from the females in the crowd. Good back and forth match, that looked to be over when Malibu went down to the Blade of Retribution, but Malibu was able to kick out. Blade followed him out of the ring, but met a chair as he rounded the corner.
Phantasy**** def. Lace*** (Sweet Suicide) The match of the night... hands down. Phantasy offered her hand to Lace after the match, but Lace laughed and spun on her heel to leave. Phantasy was furious, and promised revenge.
The crowd pops as GWF legend Pulsar heads down to the broadcast position, followed by Inigo Montoya (VII), who waved to the crowd and basked in the reflected glory of the former Tag Team and Deimos Champion.
Montoya: Welcome, my friends, to the greatest wrestling program in the galaxy today, Blast-Off!!. We're going to see the 1st ever Blast Zone champion crowned... right now!
Pulsar: The Blast Zone champ is sure to be a favorite, Monty. Once named, your Blast Zone champion will face a opponent, chosen at random, EVERY show.. if they can manage to hold on to the title for 3 months, they'll get a shot at the Gacactic Title! Let's see who the lucky men are today...
The Megatron flashes through the roster, including a few faces unfamiliar to GWF fans...after a few seconds, the pictures stop... Havoc and Tauran! Tauran heads to the ring first to a mild pop, followed by a loud chorus of boos for the Gladiator.
Blast Zone Title Match Havoc def. Tauran* (Rolling Knee Bar) No contest, Havoc dominated from the opening bell, and easily becomes the 1st ever Blast Zone champ!. As Havoc was about to leave with his new title, Kill Prey, Bouny Hunter, and a new face in a black hood hit the ring. The Wild Hunt easily laid out the new champ on their way to the ring.
Bounty Hunter: A Hunter is only as good as his prey. Back in the old days, there was Badger, Battering Ram, and Iron Mane, and the the greatest prey of all, Wolf. The Ani-men of today, they are not worthy of my protegees. There is only one team that is, my former partners.. the Gladiators. I think we've got their attention. Be warned, warriors of Aethra, the Wild Hunt is coming for you. Pulsar: Havoc didn't get to enjoy that win for long. The Wild Hunt is shooting high, but he could well be the man to do it.
Montoya: I wouldn't want to be Kill Prey when Paralyze gets a hold of him. They should have stuck to the Ani-Men
Endgame proudly leads the Defenders of the Code down to the ring, Reckless, US Male and Latasha close on his heels, Valour and American Guy somewhat behind.
Endgame: I am honored to be here. I hope in the coming weeks this fine group of wrestlers with me will make themselves worthy of those that have come before us. Lord Nexus, Star Warrior, Alpha Forces, Max Shield, all noble competitors that I hope to be named among someday.
The intro to 'Angry Young Man' fills the areas as Thantos leads his son, Bloodline, and a newcomer to the entrance ramp.
Bloodline..bother. You know your true heritage, will you join us, and take your place among your legendary forefathers?
Bloodline looks to Thantos, then takes a mic
Bloodline: My heritage is one of lies. My heritage is one of my father betraying his fans, his family, and my mother, then hiding the truth. These guys right here are my family. Thantos: You see, Endgame, you can go ahead and emulate that pack of whiny losers... I am the true legend of the GWF. Who won the most gold? The most matches? Who's here, and who's exiled? Endgame starts to look unconfortable, while Valour moves behind US Male What you don't know, Endgame, is that your merry little band is already falling apart. The GCW will be ruled by the Gamemasters, as the GWF was before. And there's nothing you can do about it!
At the signal, Valour takes out his sword and lays out US Male, then sets up Endgame with a shot to the stomach then delivers Warrior's Rage. Before the others can respond, Valour hops out of the ring and takes his place with the Gamemasters. Reckless is left to yell impotently from the ring as Encubus laughs at him.
Pulsar: Sneaky as ever, I'm not sure Endgame is up to the task of handling the schemes of Thantos.
Montoya: Thantos is a great man, almost as great as I am. Endgame is outmatched
Pulsar: I'm not so sure that's true in the wrestling ring. Now pay attention, Monty, the Titans are in the house!
Titan Resurgence def. Society of Death (Tristan pins Betrayer after a double leg kick) Very quick match, the Betrayer dropped like a stone aftter Tristan's first move. As Tristan and Payback had their hands raised and turned around, Tanck and Betrayer attacked them from behind, and left them laying in the ring.
Montoya: Looks like your boys got the win, but also got outsmarted... just like the Titans of old.
Pulsar: Shut up, Monty. I'm sure we'll see some 'Payback' soon enough.
Montoya: Must I remind you again my name is Inigo Montoya.... the eighth.
Pulsar: We all care, Monty, really. In just 6 short weeks, Night of Champions will crown the GCW Heavyweight Title with an 8 person tournament. The qualifying matches will take place right here on Blast Off, starting tonight!
Montoya: No Titans, there, my friend.
Pulsar: Shut up, Monty. Let's go to the ring.
GCW Title Tournament Qualfier Amazing Mann(w/ Vin Strutter) def. Swarm*** (Chinlock Surfboard) Swarm held out as long as he could, but never really got anything going. Mann kept him on the mat and on the defensive the whole match.
Vin Strutter: See that, Swarm? What chance does your feeble Ani-Men team have against the Greatest Show in the Galaxy? Join us, and I can make you a star to outshine Wolf! I know you won't agree now, but once we've beat you over and over again, you'll come around.
Swarm attempted to attack Strutter, but stumbledas he tried to get back up.. leading Mann to kick him one while he was down before heading to the back
Montoya: The Amazing Mann is one hell of a wrestler... I wonder if he can use a sword?
Pulsar: Focus, Monty. We've just got word that tonight will see the 1st of many battles between the FDF and the Gamemasters.. our double main event will feature Reckless Vs. Valour, and Bloodline Vs. Endgame!
Montoya: No way Bloodline will disappoint tonight. I'm really excited to see this next match, Thantos' newest man, Sly Drury, will try to get to Night of Champions against Kill Prey!
GCW Title Tournament Qualifier Kill Prey(w/ Bounty Hunter) def. Sly Drury(w/ Thantos)** (Ambush) Drury didn't show much in his debut... Kill Prey worked his knee to set him up for the Ambush for the victory. After the match, Disaster appeared on the ramp, staring down the victorious Kill Prey as he went to the back.
Pulsar: Looks like Disaster's not going to sit by while the Wild Hunt tried to make their name at their at the expense of the Gladiators.
Montoya: That's going to be a heck of an explosion when it happens.
Anivar** def. Epoch(w/ Slave Beast) by DQ Epoch's epic introduction from Slave Beast was longer than the match. After it was clear Epoch had the match in hand, he signaled Slave Beast and the two beat down Anivar until Anivar came out to make the save. Epoch made his exit before Tauran arrived and allowed Slave Beast to take the revenge beating.
Pulsar: You have to feel bad for Slave Beast.
Montoya: Why, he's serving one of the greatest conquerers in the history of the galaxy... that's a better job than working on Titan, that's for sure.
Pulsar: That's low, Monty. Why do you have to hate?
Montoya: I just call them as I see them, my friend. Let's get to the main event!
Valour(w/ Thantos) def. Reckless* (Violent Outburst) Valour clearly knew all of Reckless' moves, and had a counter for all of them. He could have ended the match with Warrior's Rage, but Thantos ordered his to draw blood with a Violent Outburst will he distracted the referee.
Endgame def. Bloodline(w/ Thantos)*** (Rolling Figure Four) Endgame brought his A-game for this one, and Bloodline had no answer, despite Thantos' presence at tingside. The Gamemasters hit the ring after the match, touching of a wild brawl with both teams as the show ended.

Heart of a Champion Tour (House Show #1) Jan. 18th, 2119 Nereid Sports Complex, Neptune
Kay Fabe(w/ Biff Malibu) def. Lorelei (Death Drop)
Lorelei was obviously underwhelmed by Kay's appearance and apparent mat skills, and underestimated the fight in her. After the victory, Kay looked to Biff for some approval, but Malibu was more interested in Lorelei. He pulled her up by the hair and starting talking to her when Switchblade came barrelling out of the locker room to free his mom from his grasp. Malibu had some obsene gestures for her as they departed.
Gladiators(Havoc/Paralyze)* def. Genesis(Anivar/Tauran)**** (Gladiator Piledriver on Anivar)
Dominant victory by the Gladiators. 2nd Reign hit the ring after the match, and Epoch took out Tauran from behing, then ordered Slave Beast to attack Anivar, using a stun rod on his knee repeatedly. Epoch was pleased with his handiwork as boos reigned down from the crowd (Anivar injured 8 cards)
Steele Freak(w/ Vin Strutter) def. Minotaur*** (Frenzied Head Slams)
Strutter continued to make a strong case for the Ani-Men to join him.. Freak's ferocity was too much for Minotaur. He continued the assault after the bell until Swarm and Antak came out to pull him off. Strutter reminded them that sort of thing wouldn't happen if they were members of the Greatest Show in the Galaxy. (Minotaur injured 4 cards)
Payback**** def. Slave Beast (w/ Epoch)***** (Payback Time)
Wild match, with lots of action outside the ring. Epoch never got involved in the match, but rather offered instructions and advice as his man got pummelled by Payback. The Beast fought back well, but couldn't come up with the victory.
She-Devil** def. Shann-Ra* (Cannonball Clothesline)
Two of the top contenders for the Women's title put on a good match here. She-Devil stayed one step ahead for most of the match, and made a good case for herself for a stop at Night of Champions.
Endgame def. Disaster* (Ultima Leap)
Endgame is looking tough to stop, as he quickly dispatched the Gladiator singles star, sending the crowd home happy.

Thanks, Mark... I've been missing having a fed, and I really have a good feeling about this concept, so I decided to give it a good shot,
Heart of a Champion Tour(House Show #2) Jan. 20th, 2119
Asteroth**(w/ Bounty Hunter) def. Paralyze (Unforgiven)
In was has to be considered a big upset, Asteroth debuts by hitting Unforgiven out of nowhere for the victory. Paralyze was furious and was ready to continue the fight, but was slowed down enough by the referee for the Wild Hunt to leave.
Latasha def. Leather* (count out)
Quick match... Latasha knocked Leather outside with the Latasha Lance and that was it.
Sly Drury*(w/ Thantos) def. Swarm**** (Last Call)
Both men were looking to get on track after losses at Blast-Off. Drury was in control from the opening bell. Swarm took alot of punishment, but the result was never really in doubt. Vin Strutter and Amazing Mann were waiting for Swarm as he left the ring, once again trying to recruit him. Swarm stormed off angrily after a brief verbal exchange.
Encubus**(w/ Thantos) def. Reckless***** (Gamemaster DDT)
The match of the night! Encubus was clearly expecting an easy time of things, but Reckless gave him everything he could handle. Thantos got involved at just the right time to make sure his son kept control of the match.
Troubleshooters(w/ Vin Strutter) def. Stars and Stripes (Trouble Times Two)
Quick win for Strutter's acrobatic team. Muss and The Bomb looked good in their new Greatest Show gear, and actually got the crowd behind them with their pre-match flips and other antics
Titan Resurgence def. Society of Death** (count out)
The crowd goes home happy with the hometown team getting the big win over their rivals. Payback caught Tanck with a tope, then followed up with a vicious kick to the head to lead to the count out victory.

Post by wildfire on Feb 13, 2011 21:02:13 GMT -4
Yeah, I hope that Steele Freak can be a real monster.. I like the gimmick, he just doesn't really have the card to back it up. We'll see Jan. 25th, 2119 Blast Zone, Atlanta, Earth Dark Matches: Switchblade(w/ Lorelei) def.. Maxx Juice(w/ Kay Fabe) (Blade of Retrobution Maxx came down to the ring with much fanfare... getting a big ovation from the ladies in the crowd. His in-ring skills were not up to the test, though, as the veteran won quickly, much to the chagrin of the female half of the crowd. Maxx yelled at Kay after the match, apparently blaming her for the loss. Thrash def. Latasha*** (Femme Fatale) The Gladiator proved she was still the woman to beat in the GWF. Latasha never got any offense together in what was essentially a squash The crowd pops as GWF legend Pulsar heads down to the broadcast position, followed by Inigo Montoya (VII), who waved to the crowd and basked in the reflected glory of the former Tag Team and Deimos Champion. Montoya: Welcome, my friends, to the greatest wrestling program in the galaxy today, Blast-Off!!. In just 6 weeks the GCW will crown it's Heavyweight, Tag Team, and Women's champions! The beautiful and talented owner of the GCW, Amanda Levesque, will join us shortly to give you the low down, but first. Pulsar: First Monty, we need to go the Megatron to see who will challenge your Blast Zone champion, Havoc.. The camera pans to The Megatron as it flashes through the roster, after hesitating a bit in a picture of Pulsar, it settled in on Payback! The Titan got a big pop as he headed to the ring to challenge the champion. Blast Zone Title Match Havoc* def. Payback***** (Fallen Dreams) Havoc once again controlled the match from the opening bell, but Payback is one tough customer. He rallied when the action spilled outside and had a chance to hit the Exvenge, but Havoc easily rolled out of the way... apparently playing possum. It was all over but the pin at that point, as Havoc makes his first successful defense. Montoya: Try not to cry, my friend. The Loser Titans will probably win something someday. I mean, they can't lose every match. Wait, looks like the Wild Hunt isn't exactly thrilled at the outcome. As the Wild Hunt hits the ring the Gladiators are ready... Paralyze and Diasaster follow right behind! The brawl is on! The Gladiators take out the old man quickly, and the numbers game tells on Kill Prey and Asteroth, who are forced to beat a hasty retreat. The Gladiators were left in the ring triumpant, getting a few rare cheers before they headed to the back in what was a strange moment Pulsar: You don't see that everyday. I think the Wild Hunt is in over their heads, challenging a team like the Gladiators with only two wrestlers. Montoya: For once, my friend, I agree with you. That's brave stupidity worthy of a Titan Now quiet on the set, the boss is here!. The arena darkens and 'Big Time' plays over the sound system, and the owner of the GCW appears on the ramp with all the spendor of a main event wrestler. She walks quickly down to the ring with the patented strut her family was known for before having here security part the ropes and allowing her to climb into the ring.Levesque: Weclome, ladies and gentleman, to the birth of a new legend.. the GCW! We're going to have a busy couple weeks, as the GCW tours the sector, with 3 big stops before we meet here again on the holovid. Those cards will feature the very best in tag team and women's wrestling.. I will make a determination on who will have their chance at history in 6 weeks at Night of Champions then. In the mean time, we have two teams who both think they're the cock of this walk. Tonight, we'll see who gets early bragging rights... the Defenders of the Code and the Gamemasters will face each other in a good, old fashioned battlezone match! The survivors go to Night of Champions. The losers, well, there are no losers at NoC. Enjoy the show, and we'll see you in two weeks! Pulsar: What a HUGE announcement, Monty, that means either the Gamemasters or the Defenders won't be at Night of Champions! Montoya: brilliance worthy of your Titan Heritage, my friend. I think we'll see that Thantos' boys are up to the task. Let's get back to the ring. Tauran/Tristan def. 2nd Reign (Titan Power) With his partner out at the hands of Epoch, Tauran recruited the Titan tag specialist to help him battle 2nd Reign. Epoch's introduction was longer than the match, and he never entered it. Tauran and Tristan worked fairly well together, and defeated the cornered Slave Beast in short order. Epoch was clearly uninterested, and instead blasted Tauran from behind with the same stun rod he injured Anivar with. He was about to but another enemy on the shelf when Payback hit the ring to make the save! Epoch cursed at him and vowed revenge as he went to the back, stopping at the interview-bot.Epoch: You will be sorry, little Paladin, that you've interfered with my plan. Intervew-bot: Does you plan at some point involving winning, sir? Epoch: Impudent bot! Lesser beings could not possibly understand my master plan! All will be clear... even to you... in time. (Epoch gives the bot a little tap and shuts it down before leaving the area) Pulsar:Whatever Epoch's plans, I”m sure the he'll be sorry he got the Titans involved. Montoya: He sure will, he'll probably have to win a match or two. Swarm def. Steele Freak***(w/ Vin Strutter) (reverse neck drop) Swarm looked great here, outwrestling and outbrawling Strutter's wild man on his way to a victory. After the match, he cornered Strutter after he Freak was back in his cage and grabbed a mic Swarm: The Ani-Men of Andromeda are a noble race, with a long history of success in the GWF. We are NOT a freak show, and we are NOT for sale. You're little 'Greatest Show' will be the means to my end.. to show the galaxy that the Ani-men are back, and will be a force to be reckoned with! Swarm threw a fake punch at Strutter, making him cower even more, before throwing the mic at his feet and leaving to the biggest cheers he'd received in some time. GCW Title Tournament Qualfier Battlezone!! Match 1: Encubus(w/ Thantos) def. US Male** (2nd Coming) Easy win for the 2nd Generation star.. US Male was out of his element here in a singles match Match 2: Encubus(w/ Thantos) def. American Guy**** (Gamemaster DDT) It took a bit more work than the 1st match, but Guy was still never any real threat to the talented Gamemaster. Thantos looked concerned, though, as his son seemed a bit winded Match 3: Reckless def. Encubus****(w/ Thantos) (Reckless Driver) Reckless was able to keep one step ahead of the tired Encubus, but it took every move in his arsenal to finally get the pin. Match 4: Valour(w/ Thantos) def. Reckless**** (tombstone side Powerbomb) Valour was very pleased to see his former partner, and really did a number on him. Reckless wore the crimson mask before Valour was through with him. Match 5: Endgame def. Valour*(w/ Thantos) (rolling Figure Four) No contest. Endgame was all business, methodically taking Valour apart, and forcing him to tap in the center of the ring. Sly Drury began to head to the ring, when Amanda Levesque appeared on the Megatron. 'Uh, uh, uh, Sly.. you already lost a match to get to Night of Champions, sorry' Thantos was livid, and started screaming at the ring crew, the timekeeper, anyone who would listen. Meanwhile. Bloodline stormed the ring and attacked Endgame from behind to start the last match. Match 6: Endgame def. Bloodline** (Ultima Leap Endgame has done it! Another downright surgical performance.. his sneak attack was the only offense he mustered. Thantos was beside himself as he walked to the back with Bloodline to end the show.

Heart of a Champion Tour (House Show #3) Sadie Hawkins Center, Amaral, Venus Feb. 1st, 2119
She-Devil def. Kay Fabe(w/ Biff Malibu)* (Cannonball Clothesline)
Easy win for She-Devil... Kay's lack of experience was really exposed here. Biff was not happy with her, and practically dragged her to the back.
Shann-Ra* def. Lace*** (Snap Snare)
Good match that could have gone either way, with lots of reverals and chain wrestling. Shann-Ra offered her hand to Lace after the match, but Lace once again refused a competitor's respect.
Troubleshooters** (w/ Vin Strutter) def. Titan Resurgence** (Trouble Times Two)
Vin Strutter was able to drag Muss out of the way of the Exvenge to turn tide.
Tauran def. Epoch***** by DQ (Slave Beast Interference)
Tauran dominated from the opening bell, with Epoch showing no offense at all. When it seemed he finally was about to be pinned, Slave Beast came off the top rope and planted Tauran with an elbow to the back of the head, causing the DQ. Epoch staggered to his feet, then taunted Tauran as he went to the back.
Phantasy def. Leather** (Sweet Suicide)
Biff Malibu(w/ Kay Fabe) def. Amazing Mann (w/ Vin Strutter)* (Viagra Driver)
Mann's awesome mat wrestling skills didn't tell against the big guy. Kay kept Vin Strutter busy while Malibu overpowered Mann and got the victory.
Stars and Stripes*** def. Triumph* (w/ Thantos) (American Firepower)
The Gamemasters continue to struggle, as Bloodline turned his back to play to the crowd , US Male made a blind tag and Guy came in and delivered American Firepower for the upset win.
