If the deal with Quackenbush comes about, and it is about releasing an expansion set (could be on the Filsinger Publishing side about one of Quackenbush's book projects) I figure it would be a set of 12 guys: Quackenbush himself and the Chikara type gimmicks. You know, more along the lines of Los Ice Creams, Player Uno and Dos, maybe a new Ultramantis Black, etc. It wouldn't be wise to give the Chikara fans EVERYTHING Chikara that FG has made so far, but more beneficial to Filsinger Games to give them a nice set of cards and an ad with ordering info for the three (soon four) LOTF sets where they can get their other favorites.
Again, it could very easily be about a book deal or something similar and all of the speculation is pointless.

Really? Pointless? Man. That's describes nearly every discussion about the game and sets and wrestlers, etc.

I could see it working a few different ways:
--- You could do a Chikara set (24 guys or whatever they want) with new stats/art for anyone that's already out.
-- You a LotF: Chikara set, with 12 guys we don't have yet (maybe a updated Quack card if he's the guy who sets it up) and try to get them to by the other stuff
-- Create a Chikara package with some news guys and the existing card to sell through whatever venue they like, but release the new guys as a set though FG.
I'd probably do want to do the 1st one, as that would be the one that would be the best for Chikara... if I'm FG, I want it to work, and for other indies to see it work, and say 'what about us?' The other options might net you more immediate cash though.
I'd be disappointed if it was a book thing, but that doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility.
