The opener was a great match, went something like 20 minutes, and featured some neat spots like Morrison eating shit through a table when he tried Starship Pain. The crowd bought the match and treated it like a main event, and the commentators did their part to at least make it seem like Morrison stood a chance. I think it's funny Cole called a WWE Title defense on TV a rare happening given that Miz defended the title against Lawler only a few weeks ago.
The Punk-Barrett promo mid-show was awesome, one of the better segments in recent WWE.
The main event, a cage match with Barrett/Sheamus/Orton was good as well. Didn't seem as long as the opening match, and in the end only served the purpose of giving Randy another title shot and Barrett getting kicked out of Nexus.
The inbetween stuff was your usual RAW inbetween stuff. Divas tag match, Santino/Kozlov vs. The Usos, and Alberto Del Rio vs. R-Truth. They were what they were, but the opener and main event more than made up for these matches not being great.

I loaded up the Raw stream to see this promo you referred to and yeah, it was a good segment. I liked how Barrett got face heat for tearing down Punk, but then got the heel heat back by insulting the crowd.
With Barrett out of Nexus maybe he can get back to having an actual character!
Only thing, Wade Barrett calling CM Punk a liar about Straightedge doesn't make any sense. I mean, the whole thing with Serena was that she was a liar about Straightedge but Punk was not. Was there a segment I missed where Punk was shown to be lying about Straightedge?

Was there a segment I missed where Punk was shown to be lying about Straightedge? Nope. Punk has never shown or said anything about not being straight-edge (as it is not just his character, but real life). I was a tad confused with Barrett's comments, but who knows. I see where Punk is coming from attacking Cena and his Hustle, Loyality, Respect, but if you remember Punk's own motto: Straight-Edge means I am better than you! That is where they might have used the Barrett comments, but not 100% sure.
