Cary Silkin in a interview announced ROH's two year deal is up with HDnet and they'll be looking for a new TV deal...
I'm not sure how good of shape theyre in, but it would be cool if MyNetwork TV did a deal with ROH and I would watch, watching online doesnt cut it for me...

That would be great but probably unlikely. ROH on network TV would awesome, just don't see it happening.

Can't say I'm surprised. Will be interesting to see where they go from here.

They're very secretive of their finances but whenever facts slide out it's always bad for the company. They dropped a bunch of guys for financial reasons a couple of months ago and they've been cutting way back on everything. I think if they can't secure a new deal that they might be in trouble long term.

To be fair, a small wrestling promotion latching onto a small company like HDNet (most cable providers carry it, so what? Most providers carry Galavision and nobody has any idea what that is) was never going to end well in the first place, and for a multitude of reasons.
But when ROH dies, who's to blame? Is it Gabe for pissing away company money on the NOAH guys being regulars? Is it Cary because he didn't like the direction his company was going so he switched to a guy doing the exact same shit? Is it Cornette because he wishes it was 1985 again and produces the show that he himself wants to see, because for some reason he just doesn't get that only a small group of wrestling fans will appreciated a modern attempt at classic wrestling?

I really think the Gabe move was necessary. He was beyond burned out as the booker and the promotion was just spinning it's wheels. At the same time, Cornette has his issues too. His style works for OVW and I think it worked for RoH television but I don't think he has the right identity for the company to sell DVDs.

I could see Versus working... they carried WEC, and are doing D-League NBA games... I'd think RoH would beat those, anyway.... even when Antoine Walker is playin' Other than that, I can't really see much of a fit on any big network... just not a big enough audience.

I remember back in 2007, ROH was in the works with a TV deal with Versus, and it fell through.
