I really thought lastnights iMPACT! was really good from start to finish...
A good tag team title rematch and I like the Genesis Rematch concept...
The Knockouts tag match was not bad, I'm a fan of Winter and it's good seeing her in the spotlight...
Crimson, I like it and he looks to be a very good signing for TNA...
The Angle vs. Jarrett's feud may not be everyone's thing, but it's drama and JJ has been very good being the heel again...
I laughed when Bischoff told Abyss to get a laugin after he was choked by Crimson...
The tag team Main Event was good too, overall iMPACT! was a fun show...

A few more thoughts...
I like the heel versions of Jeff and Matt Hardy, they both were pretty good lastnight as was RVD and Mr.Anderson...
I do see a possible split of Shelley and Sabin, which is both good and bad with not many teams in TNA the split hurts the small tag division...
The opening segment was really what told me this was going to be a very good iMPACT! and it was...

Including Superstars last night, last night was a pretty solid night of wrestling as a whole.

This was the first Impact for me in a while.. wife went to bed early and I thought I'd give it a shot.
I really didn't like how dumb Mr. Anderson and RVD were made out to be... to get gang attacked by the heels twice on the same card seemed a little riduculous to me.
THe skit where they got their 'friends' and went into Immortal's locker room was pretty good, I just wish they left it there for the day.. the post main event beat-down was too much.
I did like the promo to open the show, though it would have been better if Anderson offered Morgan a title shot... they wouldn't have even had to have it (Bischoff could have nixed it), but the offer should have been made... without it it rang a little hollow. Good overall, though.
I like the Genesis rematch concept too... spread out over several main events... it's alot better than when WWE has half the PPV card on Raw the next night, which has definitely happened.
Tag match was good... a little spot-fest-y, but the spots were good, so I didn't might. What the hell happened to Chris Harris, did he eat James Storm? I suppose the pot belly goes with the redneck image, but, damn, he looked totally different that the last time I watched. Didn't seem to effect him in the ring though.. maybe just have him wear a shirt and all will be well.
While I like the Guns, I'd be fine with them splitting... Shelley is one of the best around, IMO, and I'd love to see him get a push.
Loved the Pope, but got really annoyed when Tenay say 'he had to go and bring Joe's family into it'.. he was clearly just making fun of Joe, did Tenay think the pig really was him? Seemed a stupid comment.
Matt Hardy was pretty unimpressive, but that's no surprise. He does fit in with the group, so that's good. I didn't love the Angle-Jarrett thing... it strains my suspension of disbelief when they tell me Angle's real life fomer wife is now married to Jarrett. I also greatly prefer Angle as a heel, but they have too many heels as it is, I guess.
Winter seemed intriguing... I remember when last I watched no one could see here by Angelina Love (or was it Velvet Sky?)... I didn't feel like I knew the story there.
OVerally I'd give it about a 3.5/ 5..

wildfire Chris Harris is long gone from TNA, it's James Storm with the pot belly and Robert Roode is his partner in Beer Money... The Winter / Love storyline is still being unvailed, thats whats good with TNA is stretching out the storylines... I'll rate this iMPACT! 4 1/2 out of 5 stars...

My one concern with the whole thing was Crimson saying "They" were coming to destroy Immortal. Really don't want another faction.
For the record, I love heel Jarrett. He's been the best thing on TNA for a month now.

The new "They" has got to be a new incarnation of the Main Even Mafia, right? Now that Angle is back? And Crimson says he is just the messenger, huh? Even weirder.
I liked Tenay putting over Edge and Christian during the main event. Matt Hardy still looks rusty, but thats not really surprising considering he mostly has been vlogging since he got his release from WWE. He could also use a new finisher so that Jeff can keep the Twist of Hate.
Generally a good show from top to bottom...

I was but wasn't surprised Tenay mentioned Edge & Christian and no matter how bad things can be, I find it good that TNA from time to time mentions more then just TNA's history of wrestlers...
Dixie Carter tweeted that the X-Division is not going away and she is working on getting old and new faces back in the X-Division, which is needed for sure...

I could see it being the MEM, Sting, Nash, and Angle.. Maybe with RVD added in to the mix to replace Booker and an X Division guy for variety and under the direction of Dixie... Of course, this is TNA we're talking about, so it could be a reunion of The Prince Justice Brotherhood.

I could see a new faction name, one thing I don't mind is seeing another faction in TNA to battle Immortal and Fortune...
If you look at Crimson coming in at the Double M A Challenge, I can see Angle saying he trained him and he is a member of this new faction...

iMPACT was good last night, it also had a pretty good episode of Superstars paired with it as Jason noted, which made last night overall a good night of wrestling. I don't like the idea of another faction in TNA, honestly.
The problem with the X-Division is that it hasn't been relevant for years. It used to be the drawing point for TNA. That division had everybody you would want to see. AJ, Joe, Daniels, Lethal, Sabin, Shelley, Sonjay, Petey Williams, among many others. And what old names are there to get back? Sonjay hates TNA and I think he's with ROH now. Same with Homicide, not too sure about Christopher Daniels as far as disliking TNA but he's with ROH now. Petey Williams probably would go back but he's nowhere near as good as he was back in the day.
You can't revive that Division at this point, and keeping it around insults (IMO) the legacy that Division had. More than any other one Division in wrestling back in 2004-2006, that's the one people paid attention to, and it's a joke now. I'd just unify the title with the TV Title (though at this point it'd not a smart move because it creates tension within Immortal, or maybe that would be a smart move, I don't know) and call it a day.

No doubt the X-Division is nowhere near what it once was, but I think it can be built back up but not like it once was and can still be a good division of a different kind and not be a slap in the face of the earlier X-Divison...
Another thing about lastnight was Mr.Anderson and Matt Morgan staying face and having a good opening segment...

I like that they're making the Feb. 3rd show to be a big deal, Hogan returns and Hardy faces Mr.Anderson for the belt and not reading any of the spoilers I can see Jeff Hardy getting the belt back...
