I don't care if it's not the original 90's Extreme Championship Wrestling, I really liked ECW from the start with some down times but overall I'd watch that over Raw, Smackdown and iMPACT! during it's run...
CM Punk, John Morrison, Matt Hardy, Mark Henry, Jack Swagger and Christian were all great ECW Champions in my view. I really enjoyed Henry's, Swagger's and Christian's run at the top of ECW...
The blend of talent was good, you had guys from Marcus Cor Von to Vance Archer that was mixed with vets like Tommy Dreamer to Goldust. Overall I thought ECW had the best blended roster of talent...
The wrestling action was good, infact at times better then Raw's and Smackdown's action and for one hour they had better shows for the most part over the two 2 hour shows...
I really like the Phoenix ECW Belt, it just had a cool clean look and out of all the new belts the WWE have made in the last 10 years, thats my favorite belt...
It's a shame that the WWE killed it off, ECW was getting back on track after that dumb Trump trade which in the end led to NXT, ugh!

I liked WWECW. Liked the original ECW as well. IMO Superstars was better than WWEECW was during its last year. Same general show layout, just using all three brands.

It's funny 2010 was the last season of ECW, seems longer and 2010 wasnt the best, 2008 and 2009 for ECW were good years...
I only saw maybe 3 shows on TNN with the original ECW, never really heard of it, till the end of it's run, so what I've seen was on VHS and that wasnt much...

I found out about ECW on TNN from magazines, and the back of the video games/action figures. I'd heard about it from my cousins who saw Hardcore TV when it was on around here, and I'd seen it in PWI and other magazines before TNN, but hadn't watched it until then.

I enjoyed it because it was a self contained show that was one hour. It was really easy to devote the time to watching it. And it was nice seeing some guys that wouldn't get pushed get a push.

The self contained ECW was another reason it was good and guys like Zack Ryder were getting good pushes. I really liked the William Regal group with Kozlov and Jackson, that was short lived and could've been cool. I also thought Mark Henry was the best Heel at the time he was the ECW Champ, but then again I've always like Henry whether Heel or Face...
